Hi All: I am afraid I have a member to add to the BAD SELLERS list. After reading in the mall that other members bought coilover sets from Marcellus Kinsey, aka XzotikGT, I contacted him and pay pal'ed him $43 ( on 12/19/06). It took about 2 weeks for it to arrive, but it was Christmas so I did'nt think much of that. I eagerly opened the box to find that the 2 springs were DIFFERENT LENGHTS! It was so obvious that they were wrong I could not believe anyone could make such a mistake. I contacted him that day and sent him a picture of what he sent me. He said he screwed up and would send me the other spring. He sent me another email saying he needed the other shorter spring and quickly pay pal'ed me $9 to cover shipping. I sent it out after a few days. Now its 20 days later and I have not received my other spring! He, of course, has not responded to 2 emails. Thats the story. Thinking back on the transaction, I doubt he even HAD 2 longer springs to sell! If you are reading this, Marcellus, KEEP YOUR SPRING, I DONT WANT IT ANY MORE. For everyone else, WATCH OUT FOR THIS GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uhm I did respond to your emails William Bartram , and considering all the others that got their sets just fine........Whatever. And you gonna take the dagum spring cuz it already been shipped William Bartram. I did supply you with my phone number William Bartram. If you had a problem with me you could have called and spoke to me and got the situation resolved much quicker. William Bartram, instead of trying to contact me on with a email, or on PFF. And if I was trying to play you, then why would I send you the money so you can return the spring to me? And considering I was doing YOU a service, because I DONT MAKE ANY money off of you guys for the coilovers, I have actually spent some of my own money getting you guys them stinking coilovers.....gime a feeaking break.............It really isnt worth my time or effort and for you to pull this crap?

Hey Marcellus: Did I strike a nerve by using your name? I dont mind everyone knowing my name is Bill Bartram because I am NOT A CROOK. You did email me with an apoligy (and excuses) AFTER you saw this post. Question: If everyone is so happy with your "free service" why isn't your name on the GOOD SELLERS LIST?. Now that you read this you probably did send the spring. Its only been a month! BUDDY, does really slow shipping with no contact qualify as a bad seller? I think so. I have sold a few items on this Forum and a few thousand dollars of parts on Ebay. When I sell somthing, I make a BIG effort to ship it as soon as possible. Here is a picture of what he sent me. Easy mistake?

You have to be making money off of something to be a CROOK ya retard. I explained what happened in the email, and then I came here and saw you posted about it. But really I dont care about what you have to say.

I am not any judge. if someone wants to say that so-and-so is a bad seller because their brake rotors smell like cigarette smoke i'll put that name in the bad list.
same goes if someone wants to say that guy is a good seller because he shipped me a valve stem cap quickly, they go in the good list.

buddycraigg, it's your list and you can structure it any way you want, but I would like to suggest a "DO BUSINESS WITH AT YOUR OWN PERIL" list. This list would be for those have gone way beyond the pale of just a run of the mill "bad seller". The first "honoree" should undoubtedly be "gofast250" Reason?...see here: https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum4/HTML/035402.html
I'd say this character has managed to set a speed record for pissing off more PFF members faster than anyone so far. At the very LEAST, "gofast250" needs to be in some sort of catagory of his very own.

what if a guy has purchased from a bad lister and had a good experience,
is it fair to black list a guy based on one bad transaction?
ebay uses a rating system, and lets you read what a dispute was over,
why is no one using the rating system on here? i think it would help a person make a better decision to buy or not to buy. again no disrespect!
there is no rating system on here for buying / selling.
some people are on both the good and bad list. no one is being black listed. let's turn you question around, if "bob" has one good sell but then becomes a crook, should he only be on the good list? or should he be on the good list one time, and then on the bad list as many times people complain about him.

Well, Unfortunately, I have another for the BAD SELLERS list. 87FASTBACK hasn't responded to any of my messages for the past month. Here is a link to what I had purchased and the second page has the story of what had happened. https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum4/HTML/034649.html I don't know, maybe he hasn't been able to respond due to reasons beyond his control and I always believe in giving everyone a fair chance, so hopefully he will make things right and refund my money. I think my ebay feedback speaks for itself ,and anybody i have done business with here knows the truth,I have never burn anyone , Now because a few of you out their are not happy that i cancelled a auction. which then i relisted with a reserve price ,tuff get over it. The bad seller list should be with people who purchased some type of part or service and did not get what they paid for ,Not because of some hurt feelings or because you dislike my practices(dont buy from me). Yes i closed my auction ,I have that right ,up to 12 hours before it ends ,then relisted and sold to highest bidder. I have bid on many things in the past and the seller closed the auction ,because he changed his or her mind ,it happens, and nothing dishonest about that. You few are confused with letting a auction end and not selling it to highest bidder ,That's dishonest!

You came to the Mall on PFF and invited members to your Ebay auction Several members placed bids on your auction You then pulled the auction when you didn't like the bids. You relisted the auction with a reserve, AND a surcharge for Paypal, (against Ebay rules) You also demanded an excessive shipping fee.
You insulted anyone who dared to complain about your shenanigans
You outright LIED about communications between myself and you regarding something I sold thru the Mall.
As evidenced by you continued arrogance in your message here in this thread, I'd say you DESERVE to be listed as a bad seller.
It's not only about "not getting burned", it's about having to deal with a dysfunctional and manipulative personality like you.
You said it best: "you dislike my practices(dont buy from me)."
It appears that a number of us do not like your practices and believe you are a BAD SELLER.
TUFF, Get over it .......

In the relatively short time I've been here on PFF, it's been a real pleasure to deal with some really outstanding sellers and buyers. It has turned out to be an unexpected *plus* in the Fiero community here on PFF. I had begun to believe that old fashioned ideals like honesty, honor, courtesy, manners and civility, were a thing of the past. The length of the *green* list of names as opposed to the *red* list speaks volumes for this group as a whole. I'm certain that the length of that *green* list is not solely due to simply "ya got what ya paid for, so qwicherbitchin" attitudes that some are unfortunately incapable of comprehending.
Knowing that "moderating" this list and what you likely have to endure in PMs from some of the miscreants on the *red* list is probably taxing at best, I hereby award you a "+" Buddy Craigg, and offer my sincere thanks for your efforts.

the PMs really haven't been "too" bad.
i just explain to them that everything needs to be posted here in the thread so no one can say that i'm making it up. and if they want to be removed from the bad (or added to the good list) they need to have the other person chime in.
thanks for the plus
and i'm throwing www.webelectricproducts.com in to the good group. i thought about it tonight on my way home and saw the reflection of my daytime running lights shining in the bumpers in front of me. i bought a set, installed them, they didn't work, i called them they said "send it back, and we'll send you another one" they didn't try to say i installed it wrong or ask a million questions. the second set worked just fine, and i've had a set of their Sequential Turn Signals on my 84 for years with no problems.
i even openly said in a thread here that it was opinion that micro relays vrs transistors would be a better way to go, as there was someone selling a relay type kit. and web electric responded in the thread in a civil manner.
so.... UPDATED again for 01/31/07

Id like to retract wheels1 from the bad sellers list, it may have taken him over a year to make things right, but he finally did (got out on good behavior maybe?)
either way i got my powdercoated parts from him, and an apology which is what i wanted.
not sure if he made things right with MRJ yet, but everything between me and wheels1 is now over with.
buddycraigg, would you please add this list of people that I have to the good list. I have received either fast payments or great parts in a timely manner. I know there are more & if your name isn't on my list... PLMK & I'll be glad to add it, as you have added my name to the list.
Add exoticse to the list please! He shipped me a part before I even sent him the check {edit} I see he's already there! Well this another another positive plug for him.

I think this list is a very good way of reducing the possibilities of getting a bad buyer/seller... most often it's a lot of money at stake and when the part you want is half way around the globe... well then it might be worth checking him/her up.
A + to you Buddy for updating this thread and also a + to dohcfiend for starting the first one.
I'll have to add Yellowstone to the good sellers list! He took time packaging and shipping his taillight panel to me in the middle of his christmas holiday!
Thx Wheel for putting me up there ..I already had you on the old one to a good seller was a+ for back then to Had help me to what I was look for that time ..Thx again
Big huge thumbs up to none other than buddycraigg!!!! I was enquiring about trying to replace the bulb in the rear decklid switch, and Buddy saw my post and sent me a spare switch mechanism with a working light that he had, gratis ... He's definitely one of the true assetts to this board.
