I've traded or given away more parts than I can recall....
I just wish there was a way to check out a seller NOT on the list before dealing with him.....
Same here I bought thousands of dollars of parts over the last 6 years here. But I've got one deal going that is very slow in the making with someone I've never dealt with before that is making me a little nervious. It's for some grey seat covers that I was going to buy from Chris Holden a friend of Andrew / 85SE. He still hasn't gotten me the shipping price for the seats and now all of a sudden he wants to use his buddies Paypal account. It's sounding very fishy to me.

Follow your instincts, man. If you're uncomfortable about it, pass, pass, pass. Personally, I don't think there's a car part in the world worth the aggravation of getting burned.

Rodney Dickman all A+ a stand up guy. I screwed up my order, and he was real nice about getting it all straightened out, and returned me some money. Joe Crawford Texas

and it's starting to look like this thread is about Wheels1 (glad you're back in business chris)
oh, and i did this as a backup i started to think, what if i mess up when i'm sorting names in excel or something...
so please ignore the following ********************************************************************** UPDATED 05/01/07 I think 7 pages to read through is crazy when trying to find a user name to possibly deal with so just like the ¼ mile list started by NOS3800 I’m taking it on myself to keep this list updated as people add posts.
BIG NEG. - - - - - - for stephsformula,,,she told me "she" personaly checked the item and it was good and when it made it finaly it was junk and missing parts,,,she lied straight up, no mistake about it..now she will not reply to emails,,after waiting 2 weeks i finaly got paypal to refund my money...BEWARE!!!!!! STEPHSFORMULA is NOT a reptical seller at all,,,better deal with wheels1 or someone reptical because this girl is not...learned my lesson huh.. had it not been for paying via paypal i'd still be out all my money...no more biz. from me there steph tha rip-off

I TOTALLY resent the fact that my name is on your "bad seller list"
One member of this board has made my love for this board disappear...
I will NEVER get into it here, except for this one post, due to all the drama that everyone craves here.
I have an awesome record on and off this board for over 7 years..
This member purchased a rust free V-6 Fiero, with an endless amount of new parts for $1500,that he drove for 8 hours and did not leave him walking.
READ:He has NEVER emailed me,except for the one when he got home with it,with his concerns and demands...I IMMEADIATLY replied to him that I would IN FACT PAY for ALL the rapairs he felt it needed,AND send FREE of charge,ALL the parts he said were faulty or broken,WITH FREE SHIPPING. Cost to him? $0.00..I NEVER heard worrd one from him..Except for the jabs that he has thrown here. That was on an AS-IS where is car,and I NEVER had to offer any help, parts,or money towards repairs- at all,but I DID. Those offers are now gone, and he is on his own.
My guess is he should have taken the $1500 and put a down payment on a 2 year old Honda,NOT a 20 year old Fiero...
In his posts,he has clearly said that he "Needs to keep telling his wife he got screwed,in order to get leverage to buy more parts..." That hurt the most...
This member has a faulty past on and off this board..unlike myself...And that is all I will say about that..
Thanx for nothing.I know who I have helped, and that makes me feel good.
my email is fierofarm@gwi.net if anyone has any questions.

Give Knight Rider a good rating. I bought a used computer from him and he threw in a spare 40 Gb hard drive. It may seem small compaired to what you'll find in stores, but it sure beats the 2.5, yes I said 2.5 Gb that was in Mom's old P1. The software, he sent with the computer, would have cost much more than the total price of the deal.
Another good rating for Rodney Dickman, ya like this is ground breaking news. I ordered 1" lowering ball joints with uppers and tie rods, entirely off the website. Nice that you can get the tie rods in black (to match the old rubber suspension) or red, to match the newer polly stuff. I included the 10% off code, for more than 4 suspension parts. I was kinda sweating this cause the discount didn't show up during the internet transaction, it did show up on the Credit Card paperwork included with the shipment.

I ordered a $35.00 item from a forum member who is on the "good seller" list. He acknowledged receipt of my money order on 5/2, said he would ship the next couple of days. Nothing since. He didn't respond to my PM on the 9th. I'm hoping there is a good reason, so I'm not going to mention any names for a while.....

Please add prism-bluegt to the good list. Had a flawless transaction with him over the weekend. He was buying, so if you start a good buyer list - he belongs there!
Also, thanks for the car advice while you were here, Robert!

I agree with LY41181. Why not just put a number beside each name?
Anyway, I'd like to add a positive review for Chester. I sold him some flushmount headlights. He's a nice guy to work with, and doesn't waste any time on payment.

The parts arrived in excellent condition. There WAS a reason for the slight delay, and the seller has every right to stay on the Good Guy list.

Please add a + for Fiero1Fan for the awsome headlight buckets and a + for Blacktree for the purchase of some flushmount headlights. Both buys were flawless. The way things should be. Thanks to you both!!!!

Originally posted by ly41181: Hey buddy, here is an easier way to keep up with the positive and negative people. When they get a positive or neg you can list people like this: ly41181 +4 to show the positives with yellow color scheme ly41181 -2 to show the negs with the red color scheme And the page wouldn't be as long with the list. Just a thought anyway
i am doing this with excel so i can use the sort function. your idea would make list shorter. but it would in fact be harder for me to maintain. and increase the possibility of error.

Personally, I thinke that buddycraigg is doing one he77 of a job on a list of this sort. A HUGE favor to everyone who wants to trade off the Forum.
Hey Cliff ! ! ! ! Think a link could be added to the vendor list of recommended private sellers? It may make it easier for buddycraigg to update?? (I just want to say buddy but he may jump my butt!) LOL

I feel priviledged to add sardonyx247 to the good sellers list. He sold me a pair of SS brake lines for O'l Paint. Boy are these good looking. Well not in any secsual way or anything. Not that there's any thing wrong with that.

Add MaxQ to the "good list." Not only was my recent transaction with him seamless & professional but he went out of his way to complete it. Great comminucation and (dare I say) an honest guy.
