Nolan, yours must have ended up on the rubber band-powered plane. I just received a phone call from my wife, letting me know that our brackets arrived today. 5 days in transit, including a weekend.
Thanks Bob!

WOW !!!!!!! That was really quick! Must have been a fire under someone's but, or the border patrol was on the look-out for those dastardly brake brackets.

Tom, I am soooooooo sorry!!!! I thought I had sent all the sets out and with the moving of stuff due to my wife's grandmother passing away and getting ready for my much-needed vacation, I over-looked your set. It was sent out this morning 2-3 day priority....you should get them by wednesday or thursday. Again, my sincere apologies for this! I feel like such a jerk. Please accept my apology.

Soooo.... Anyone install a 5* set yet? I thought I had a set with my car, but turned out to be the old (old) style brackets with the hockey-stick E-brake bracket. I'm in for a set of these, just need to figure out if the 5* ones work out as suspected...

I do believe that someone had posted something at the end of Will's original thread about this. If I remember correctly, there was still a small issue with trimming the inboard pad and something about the wear indicator. That's all I can remember.

If you do not want to be on this list, just let me know.....if you definitely want a set, PM me to let me know which rear brackets you want. It looks like one more person would need to order.....I will leave it open until the end of August to see if we get any more.
Bob
If you check the quote above, it LOOKS like we have our requests to bring us to the minimum 10-set order. There are several (those with ?) that I have not gotten a PM from stating their full commitment to order and which rear offset bracket (5 or 10 degree) they want. I will not / cannot place the order without this full commitment and rear bracket choice. Once I have a full 10 people committed, I will begin requesting payments (PayPal best - DON'T SEND YET PLEASE!) and will place the order after all payments are received. I have done this for the other three orders to ensure someone does not leave me with extra sets at the last minute (sorry, I can't afford to be out this money) and everything has gone quite smoothly without any complaints. I hope you all understand my concerns. Thanks
Bob

Look for a post from Will, near the bottom of page 6 of this thread. I strongly encourage you to read the whole thread, actually. This is a group buy thread--Will's original is where all the tech goodies are.
if it helps to get the ball rolling i will take two sets. if some one steps up at the last min. they can have it if not i will take two sets i can always jut get two of every thing and make a kit to sell later
I dont know if this is covered but i know the caddy setup up you can use the front for the rears but can you put the rears on he front? if i have to have one it would be nice to have a use for it. this fiero will be drag car and i think that would still get me to pass inspection.

Just a bump for the commitment of the last five people...I really need to know which sets (5 or 10 degree) you want. I edited the quote to contain the newest commitments.

Sorry....got the wrong quote! We technically only have five orders so far and still need commitments from the other five who are "interested".
TorqueWench - ? fierodriver (wudman) - from email - ? tony(?) - from e-mail - ? chuck278 - ?

OK......7 sets confirmed, just need to hear from Torquewench, fierodriver (Wudman), tony (? from e-mail), and chuck 278.
BTW, to clear something up. The complete 4 piece sets are $92.00 / set set shipped within the USA. If you are from outside the USA, please contact me for shipping.

I had the price wrong, but I'm still not complaining. Still count me in at $92. Not a problem. Let me know when you need us to start sending the money.
i was wondering whether or not we should post a link on general chat. if others are like me, they may not check this forum, except when necessary. i wanna get these brackets haha

We have our 10 (11?) people needed....chrisgtp....you can go back down to one set if you want. I will leave this open until Friday 8/31 (as promised) and will e-mail the completed order on Saturday.
LET THE PAYPALING BEGIN....addy is rjblaze @verizon.net ($92.00 / set shipped, $175 / 2 sets shipped....both within the US)......Greg-W, I will figure out your shipping tonight or tomorrow.
Unless I hear otherwise by Friday 8/31, fierodriver (Wudman) and Tony (both from my e-mail) are out. I have PM'd and e-mailed them several times without as much as a "Hey". Sorry Boys

Also, here is a quick breakdown of the stuff people will need for the conversion. Another forum member passed this on to me, I pretty much just updated the prices; a lot stayed the same, some stuff went up. Also you can find hawk pads and what not for the brake pads. Honestly, this is going to be such a great improvement over the stock system, that I am not inclined to go crazy on brake pads. i am not used to a big brake system w/o ABS, so i will slide myself gently into it.
edit: nothing ever lines up on the forum. i spent 30minutes making it pretty and it still looked like crap, haha. anyhow i have the breakdown with part numbers and stores, if anybody wants it. total including these brackets is something like $455 before tax. not too shabby considering the price of your average brake kit.

Dang I just transferred $150 out of my Paypal account to my bank account. LOL Should have just left it in there. I knew I was forgetting something. Ah well, $ sent! I put a note in with my work address if shipping by UPS / FedEx.. USPS I can pick up a package easily, but UPS / FedEx are like 20 miles away and closed after work.. Can't wait!

That list is thanx to JMunilla87GT, not me. Hope I am not stepping on any toes by posting it.
I sent the PM for the 5 degree brackets. I wanted to get all the parts modeled in Solidworks to see if I could eliminate the pad trimming then have some cut on the waterjet at work. Well I just found out there is 25 or 26 hours s day scheduled for the waterjet. Obviously I will not be getting any personal projects in there anytime soon. I have had the rotors and pads and modified a spare set of fiero rotors several years ago so I may as well just by a set.
