I gotta tell you, these were packed better than anything I've ever rec'd.
They could have been dropped from an airplane & not been damaged.
Thanks.
Archie
Also a reminder.......
I don't care if they have ends on them I have the tools to take the ends off of them.
If you don't have the tools or don't want to do that nasty job, you can just leave the ends on.

In that case I might just leave the ends on. I was trying to save some shipping weight, but I am really having a heck of a time trying to get one of them off.
How's $15 for shipping for a total of $35? Pm your address before 2:00 and I can get it out today, or else I won't be able to get it out till monday. I have it boxed and ready to go.

It's kind of a nasty job. I haven't seen any instructions posted of how to do it. but basically you gotta remove all the bands that are on the boots. Pull the boots back towards the center of the axle. Wipe away 3 tons of grease. Then with snap ring plyers release the snap ring on the outboard C/V joint & slide it off. On the inner tripot you got to open up the inner snap ring & move it towards the center of the axle a inch or so then release it. Then slide the tripot inner bearing rack inboard a little. That will expose the thin wire outboard snap ring. Remove it then slide off the bearing rack off then remove that you moved inboard earlier, then you can slide the boot off. Waste about 3 shop rags cleaning up all that grease you left everywhere & you're done.
I'll have to take some pics next time we take one apart.
Or you can just send the whole axle assembly here.

That's a great packing job !! Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried to setup an account with UPS for the Forum ?? I mean there is soo many people sending eachother parts off Pennocks, it would seem reasonable...
Cheers
