Well I hate to say but when my supplier said the material WOULD BE HERE BY FRIDAY it turns out they mean they'll Start the ORDER on FRIDAY. So I hate to say but my idea of knocking out all of the sets this weekend has turned up BUST.

Dew strip material is now in. I need to pick up a tool to make the holes in the NEW EXACT STYLE bump strip parts that I have FINALLY FOUND a supplier for. These things are getting more and more EXACT as GM ORIGINALLY DESIGNED THEM. I've enlisted the aid of my wife to help expedite the marking of the dews while I start on trimming all the new bump strips. I should be able to complete most of these over the weekend. I need to hand count the rivets I have on hand to make any supplemental orders as needed. Metal parts should be here any day now. So get ready for them to hit the market. I have a new plan of action to hopefully reduce the wait time.
BE READY!

Well now it's Wednesday... I think. And the metal parts are here. Working furiously but due to drying times I cannot get the prepaids done until tomorrow.

Katatak Kemp 3 FieroAddict I'll have to make it up to you guys about the time frame. If you looked in Tech you can see I have other pressures against me also. You guys have put your trust in me to deliver timely and even though the parts took a bit to get here I still have to get everything together. For more truth I was so frustrated in being unable to purchase the needed supplies that I jumped the gun on purchasing parts. I waited until I had enough to buy the parts and completely forgot about having to buy the materials for the inners that two of you also bought. They will be picked up today FRIDAY. from the dealers. I just got enough to get them as well. Talk about hurting! Now I see why they say everyone needs a business degree. But have no fear I'm still here and will be making the dews over the weekend. I'm planning on completing 12 sets total since that's all the rivets I have at this time. Dummy me forgot to count them up.

My way? I have a way now?!!! I guess there's three ways.
GM = Taking outer panels off to drill out rivets of window to remove glass. OUCH Rodney Dickman = Using special tool to remove hard to get screws. Great tool if they aren't rusted in place. So far I've had no luck. My Way = disassembly of the rear track and top stops, dirty but uses simple tools.
Ok I guess I have a way. Hasn't anyone else posted this way? Of course I figured this out on my own but I don't want to take someone's glory away.
No prob on the dews. Like I say if anyone needs help PM me I'll give you my number. Or look me up on Skype diy.fiero Stu
