If I wasn't out the door to Afghanistan I'd pick this up as I wrecked my 88 coupe that was my daily driver. Good luck on the sale, it's a beautiful car. Did I miss what tranny it has? Is it a 4t60 or a 3t45?

Honestly, you need to take this to eBay or look for another outlet. The truth is, everyone here is looking for a steal. I'm no different. Doesn't matter what your car is worth, we're all Fiero freaks here and know a good buy when we see it, we just don't want to turn loose with the "green". I've already got eight 88 notchbacks here so, there's not much chance of selling it to me unless it's a steal. Most of us are similar. Just trying to give you what I think is good advice. Here's a bump for you and the future Mrs.

Definitely advertise elsewhere. I can't see that car being worth less than $3000. If I didn't already have a Formula, I'd be sorely tempted.
He has got a point. When I tried to sell my 84 coupe on here I couldn't even get much attention at $2000. After a while I pu it on a local consignment lot and sold it in 6 hour at my full asking price of $2500. I had aleast 10 calls that night and three guys standing in lineand asking if it was still for sale as he was handing me the cash. That was one of those times when I realized I should have asked more for it but no one here will say that an 84 is worth that. Good luck, it looks like a nice car and I wish I had the room for another project.

I can see where $$$ to fix it is probably a bit tight but..... IF you fix it so the engine matches the rest of the car, find a way to get that rear clip shiny like the rest, spring is right around the corner and that car would sell easy. With the economy and $ the way things are for alot of people..... a car that *may* need work or eventual fixing is a tough sell, esp for a fiero. If its only $1k like you say, I 'd say put in the $1k even if it takes a personal loan and then ask for around $5k to get her gone....
