The first post in this thread is to tell you what I am up to. 2 weeks ago I signed a contract with an HID manufacturer that is allowing me to sell, service, and warranty HID headlight conversion kits.
As I begin my business venture in this aspect of the auto-industry I want to first use it to help my local car club - www.clubredline.net
I am proposing that for the next month, if anyone at all purchases HID light conversion kits from me 100% 100 PERCENT! of the profits will go towards supporting our local car club, Club Redline. The reason this is important is because we are in desperate need to pay down a debt incurred from putting on our 2008 car show. Some unfortunate circumstances that were impossible to control rendered our ability to make money on our car show non-existent.
Help me help our club and get something really cool for it in the meantime. See the following post for details. Thank you!
I am offering for sale complete HID conversion kits for any automobile on the road today.
These kits (ballasts, bulbs, wiring, etc...) come with a full 1 year manufacturers warranty, but you probably won't need to use it! Why go with H.I.D. Lighting?
Greater Visibility and Road Safety
quote
While we are driving at night, the most important thing for you is to see clearly is what is in front of you.
HID lights can provide you with 2-3 times more light than halogen lamps.
The higher light output improves both light intensity and light distribution on the road, widening the field of vision for earlier recognition of people and objects. What’s more, the brilliant white light has better reflecting ability, which makes you drive more safely under bad weather (rain, snowfall or night time).
Longer Life
quote
The life-span of a 35W HID bulb is as long as 3000 hours, which is much more than the total hours that the average automobile is at work at night. Also, it is approximately 3 TIMES LONGER LIFE than the standard halogen bulb.
Save Electricity!
quote
Only need the electricity of 35W - it lightens the electrical system load system. A proper HID system saves 40% the electricity of the original halogen bulb, and improve vehicle performance correspondingly by saving energy.
Exceed the Luminance
quote
The xenon bulb provides as much as three times the light output as a halogen bulb. Therefore, the driver can see higher, wider, and farther - which makes it safer to drive the vehicle.
Easy to Install
quote
Only need to insert the xenon lamp into the hole of the original light, fix the ballast, connect the cables, hook up + and - from the battery and you do not need to change the original part of the vehicle.
I will provide a number of services included with this new HID setup: 1. Provide Sales - Any bulb for any vehicle. Just let me know what vehicle you need it for and I will figure it out.
2. Provide Service - I can install the HID kits on most vehicles for $30 labor.
3. Provide Maintenace - If something on them stops working correctly I will simply take care of it. Each piece has a 12 month manufacturer warranty, so that is what I will offer for parts.
Here is a picture of an installed ballast:

Don't buy these from ebay or an offshore company. Get them from me to help us raise money for our Club Redline!
So far I have done 3 vehicles and they have all been very successful!
I have 3 HID kits on the Fiero: Low, High and Fog Lights. I did a 9004 Hi/Lo on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. This is neat because the actual bulb assembly is motorized to give you the high and low light settings. Then I did a guy's 2006 Ford Truck because he wanted to be able to see better at night. Turned out really good.
The lights in my Fiero are very blue looking, but if you go with a 4800K or 5000K light color then they look only white.

This unit allows you to use removable headlight bulbs instead of the one large sealed beam unit. This piece paired together with new 5000K or 6000K will really give your Fiero a unique look!
I would love to have HIDs on the Fiero. When I get it running I might just have to purchase a set. Let me get this correct, ours would be the $125 set right? I also wanted to ask, on your car with the highs and lows on, why is the high beam yellow? was it the old light or HID? and could you get it so the highs and lows are the same blue color? Also, is the link to the Ebay site your auction? If not are you able to sell those housings as well? Hope Im not asking too many Qs at once, just wanting more info for my future purchase

I am interested in the dual beam kit for my Fiero which has stock head lights nothing done to them or the area around them. Is there a bulb housing available that fits the stock head light mounts that can accept the HID bulbs. Do you accept post office postal money orders in US Funds as payment. Dan

All good questions!
Sorry, but the bulbs needed for a Fiero with popup headlights would be a hi/lo H4 bulb. That kit costs $145, but the good thing is that you only need one kit. I needed 2 of them.
The picture with highs and lows on shows a blue and a yellow bulb. That is because I went with a 3000K HID for the highs and a 6000K HID for the lows. It has been my experience that you can see better in the rain with a yellow/golden light over a blue light so that's why I did that - and mostly because I think it looks neat in person.
If you keep the factory popup headlights you have to keep it all one color. It just depends on which color you go with.
No that ebay auction is not mine and at this time I cannot sell the housings. However I am trying to get into that market as well.

The dual beam, like mine is an aftermarket piece made by KMunson here on the forum. The whole assembly costs around $400, and then you have to come up with the bulbs later. I hope I understood y our question correctly.
Do you have any reviews of this manufacturer? Any warranty longer than a year available? Also, discount available for multiple kits? I've been meaning to change the color temp on my V's low beams and convert the hi beams and fogs to HID. So I would need 6 bulbs.

I have not seen any reviews on the setup from anyone else, but myself and 2 other people have been running them for a while now with no issues at all. We are very happy with them.
I do not know if there is a warranty available for longer than 12 months. I will check.

The main reason I ask about the warranty is for high beam (frequent on/off use) there's a good chance they won't last from what I've heard. But yeah, let me know.
Also, for anyone thinking about dealing with Oslo, I bought quite a few parts from him before. Good guy.

Ok, I am in need of some new headlights and came across this thread. I am tired of the crappy output of the stock sealed units. Are these a special type of bulb, or is this the standard setup used on newer vehicles? I'm assuming that I could not use the stock connector and would have to do some rewiring? In other words, I couldn't just go to the parts store and pick up a standard GM bulb when they burn out?
Trying to explain this some how as I live in the country and with dark roads the HIDS would be very handy. My question is the actual mounting of the HID bulb as the Fiero ones are sealed beam and won't accept a new bulb into them. Is there head light bulb housings I guess is the proper name that bolt into the Fiero stock buckets, look stock and will accept the HID bulbs or do I need to modify the stock Fiero style bulb housings to accept the HIDs. Dan

Was hoping for a bulb housing that could be purchasde at a parts store but I guess ebay will have to do, has any one dealt with the people selling the housings on ebay. How much for the $145 kit shipped to Ontario Canada postal code K0K 1T0 and what name do I put on the postal money order thanks. Dan

I have bought 2 different sets of the headlight housings off of ebay in the past and they both were really good quality. I wouldn't worry about that. Just get one that you think looks the nicest because they are a little different.
If you are having trouble finding them on ebay, search for "Fiero Euro"
Also, I can ship one of the kits to Ontario for around $14 - That includes insurance and tracking number.
I have been talking to the manufacturer, BSP Lighting, about quality control and warranties and they sent me this information:

Each and every bulb is meticulously hand-checked for proper fitment, orientation and usage. Also, take a look at the pictures and you can see that they are also 100% waterproof.
Can the bulbs be purchased seperately? My V already has HIDs. I just want to change the color temperature. I would just need to change the bulb correct? If so, how much for 2 bulbs and 2 complete kits? You can PM me if you want with the details.
I can get different kits for different settings like that, however the Fiero uses one bulb for both high and low - to get two seperate bulbs you'd need to come up with a custom solution.
I am working on a Fiero Plug and play kit. I will know about them very very soon.
For the KMunson headlight setup, you have to tell me what type of bulbs you are using. In mine I run an H1 bulb, but I know that some people run an H3 bulb. Let me know and I will figure it out for you.
I would be very interested in the plug n play kit, or a good diagram on how to put these into a fiero. I definitely want a set for my f1f buckets they are 1000 times brighter then the stock fiero lights.
