Hi everyone, like I promised before I finally found a new source for dimming mirrors with temperature. These are brand new mirrrors not used. Not only is it temperature, it has a compass with your heading in degrees, auto dimming and it has a UV indicator which detects the amount of UV rays from the sun. These mirrors are brand new and I offer a one year warranty replacement if the mirror is defective. The price per mirror is 99.95 dollars plus ten dollars for shipping within the States. It is little extra to send them to Canada. I take paypal and money order. Here is the picture:

I just did one of these installs of this exact mirror on my fiero last weekend. It looks awesome and i ran the wires up the "A" pillar and under the headliner. Looks stock.

Keith, you have to run wires from the dash. The reason being is that it needs to be hooked to an ignition wire so that it turns off with the car. It took me two hours to do a complete undetectable installation on mine. You can hook the negative to the lamp on the roof and run the remainder of the wires down the A-pillar. It is a fun and easy installation.

Eddie, PM to you

Luvin - if you powered the mirror from the dome llight power source, you might have to open the door for your mirror to dim or get your direction and temp

Do they come with the temp sensor and all the necessary bits?
I'm also guessing that they *don't* have map lights built in. Right?

2000Ragtop, Yes that is the same mirror. I borrowed the picture from my competitor. The mirrors I sell come with all of the external sensors and the UV indicator sensor. I charge 46.00 dollars less than he does shipped. Plus mine comes with all of the needed parts to make the mirror complete. Also thanks for posting more pictures.

Ceverhart, e-mail sent.

Austin, it would be nice but they come only in blue.

Raydar, no built in map lights. Although I do have an auto dimming mirror with map lights. It is from a 94-96 Impala/Roadmaster. I'm asking 33.00 dollars shipped for that one.

This mirror comes with all of the external sensors needed to make it functional.

ummm...well actually since there is a switch for a dome light(map light) then there is a constant power source there...think about it! not just for the dome light but the light that is controlled by the two switches up there so obviously there is power to them switches constantly.....thanks!!!!!

Keith, problem is once you turn the car off the power is constant and will keep the mirror on and drain your battery. You could switch it off, but most find it a hassle. It doesn't take too much power but a few days sitting will eat the battery

I'll take one. Please send PM or email with Paypal info.
Are you going to have these in stock for a while? I may purchase a second one.

BTW... What is the UV switch for?

So you can see what SPF sunblocker to put on your left arm as you drive. Tanning technology in a fiero. Who'd a thunk it!

Or maybe with the right formula you can figure out how long those new seat covers will last before they start fading from the sun?

ok, all joking aside, I have no idea. What's it for?

Notorio, the UV indicator detects the amount of ultra violet rays the sun is emitting. If you watch the news they generally report this on a scale of colors.
