So shipping, taxes and customs for 25 sets of headlight buckets will run nearly $1,900.00? OUCH
These suckers are gold plated, right?
Also, and this is meant to be constructive, but you might want to update the very first post with the new pricing. It might save you some PM's and questions about current pricing and shipping charges. Personally, I probably would have skipped this mod had I realized shipping would have run me close to $100 in addition to the $200 for the buckets.
I am NOT trying to stir the pot or fire anyone up. I just know how "budget minded" (aka cheap) the Fiero crowd is, so $75 for shipping and taxes is probably a make or break detail for most buyers.
PayPal sent Stu. Please let us know when they arrive.
Just ordered the lights as well. I was finally able to get the cart filled by using their search and the part numbers. Everything was back ordered except the H4 connectors.
HL68136 HL68136 Headlamp, 90mm High Beam Sku:HL68136 Type : DOT Halogen 2 $59.75
Backordered Items will be Billed When Shipped Only $29.80 will be billed now. The remaining $268.72 will be billed when the backordered item(s) ship. ___________________________
So technically this is around about a $575 mod total.
Buckets from Timo.....................= $174.17 (€120.00 EUR) Shipping to US..........................= $75.00 rallylights.com order...................= $298.52 Powder Coating.........................= ~$25.00 (optional) 6pack and afternoon installing......PRICELESS

for a grand total of 545 shipped to your door for this mod. Quite alot higher than the post on the 1st of this month, of 400 bucks total. mmm still a huge upgrade from standard beams. love the look.

I offer 2 types of shipping as a standard: 1 German Post: 35€ ( $48 US at today exchange rate ) no tracking and no guarantee to be delivered. (The first 30 sets I set that way 9 were lost and I had to pay for it because I made sure EVERYONE who paid got a set!!) 2 UPS: 108€ ( $146 US at today exchange rate ) with tracking and delivery guarantee.
So the group shipping is safer than the German post and a lot cheaper than UPS. Yes I am sure that many people would like to have the buckets made and delivered to their door at NO CHARGE but life just doesn't work that way. If you find the price too high just let me know and I'll refund you're 120€.
I have gone to the last RallyLights.com link supplied that shows the two headlamps you need to buy, and I made an account. There isn't any way to add the items to the cart though.

Guys Tim was sent by his work to the states for training, they're cramming a lot of new tech training into two short weeks. He wanted to take them on the plane but no go on that. I'm sure as soon as he can he'll get back in touch.
Hi guys, sorry that I have been out of the loop for awhile.
I am now back in Germany and am looking into the situation. I had made the arrangements to have the boxes picked up and delivered before I left. The shipping company didn't do it. I have called them and was told that they decided that they wouldn't pick them up. I don't know why. I am trying to get it worked out and shipped ASAP!!!
I would like to remind everyone in this group buy to please send DIY_Stu your shipping fees. He is paying up front for the customs and import fees on the shipment.

Just got the call this morning to go pick them up. and found out there's a Terminal fee. WOW the fees you have to pay to just pick up the things. I get to go to one location and pick up papers and pay a fee, then go to Customs pay customs fees and taxes then go back to the first location with the customs papers and probably pay more fees. As well as take a half day off work... And only 2 PEOPLE have paid their part of the shipping. This is not going to cover the fees and taxes. I have until the 18th to pick these up or they go into Storage and there's more fees for that.
THEY ARE HERE!!! What a pain in the rear customs and the shipping docks are. Drive here now there go this place wait in line no wrong line that one etc etc etc. What a pain. But They are here and being reboxed. Looking to take those who have paid to the P.O. Wednesday. So be ready!
Fiero1Fan, is there a way for you to modify the low profile headlight buckets to work with Hella's 90mm Xenon HID modules. (in another thread I've been told they don't work with them, too long.)
I don't really care if it's the 90mm low beam, or if it's the 90mm Bi-Xenon setup. (High beams don't have to be HID anyways.)

I have never had a set of the Xenon bulbs to work with but the buckets are pretty much as close to tolerance as possible so I don't believe there would be any way to get the Xenon to fit. The low beam 90mm's are the longest that will fit in the space provided.
Timo, Sorry for bothering you in PM about it. Stuart, I'll be paypaling you the shipping cost on Thursday.
And I know this has been beaten to *death*, so I apologize in advance, but for the twin 90mm setup, I've seen all sorts of numbers and prices being thrown around out there, are there that many variations of 90mm lamps? Or should I just go back and grab the part numbers I've seen a few times and get two of each (as far as bulbs go)? And I think there was one or two people that were making plug-n-play harnesses, I thought I PM'd someone, but never heard back, is anyone still doing that?

Guys I've been looking into the Hella options and noticed the HID set ups as well. The dual mode one sounds pretty sleek but it also sounds Hella Expensive too.
Halogen Low Beam = 5.60" deep High Beam = 4.02" deep
HID Low Beam = 6.36" Deep High Beam = 4.78" Deep High beams are ECE and not legal for highway use in the US and are sold for racing and off-road use only.
Bi Xenon HID 7.75" Deep
Also from judging from the pics the HID may be asthetically UGLY since they are Square turning Round at the lens or at least that's the pic of the Bi-Xenon.

The Hella 90mm HID low beam modules are too long ... at least if you try to use them with Timo's buckets ... and they will require significant cosmetic surgery to the headlight doors to fit without interference. I've already been there.
