Fierfly (new member) is looking at purchasing a Fiero and got an unlimited carfax account until 08/18/09. She was foolish enough to give me access to it, so I will pass the savings on to you. I ask that $1 be donated to Cliff for each one of these that I run. I won't be enforcing or verifying that, so here is your opportunity to take advantage of the system and get a free carfax report (just consider karma before you decide to cheat Cliff out of his dollar).
PM me VINs Or post them here....but if the VIN is posted in public, so shall the carfax.

Just a word of caution. Local news is reporting on a dealer that uses carfax to help sell their cars. Problem is, they're selling cars with frame damage, which carfax says have not been in an accident. These cars were anounced at the auction where the dealer bought them as having frame damage, so the dealer had to know it. There was another car check service (I forget the name) that showed the cars as having been in an accident. ANYWAY, while cowsbutt here (I tease ) is doing a good thing, my point is not to believe everything you see on your carfax report. ~ Paul aka "Tha Driver"
Readin' don't not never done nuttin' for not nobody. "I think you mean not nonebody." Excuse me: not nonebody. Never not no one. Didn't about no reason not never. And, by God, they never not ain't gonna' will!

You are absolutely correct. Carfax is a tool for your research on the vehicle...it is certainly not the ultimate authority on a car's history. Take the carfax for my car for example. What you DON'T see there is 106k miles and evidence of a front right collision (I know it happened, but have no clue of the story behind it). Carfax is only as good as the database it searches. I am not aware of the other service that Paul is referring to, but clearly they are hitting another database that Carfax is skipping.
