I did order 100 sets, but they will be made in 20 set batches, the tinted will be the 2nd batch. I just had to agree to purchase a minimum of 100 sets.
Lori
Do you feel after the first batch the production line will smooth out and the second batch will be soon thereafter?

Well, the way I see it, that it is just only possible. Our blessing was Lori is having these manufactured by a very good company. One which does million dollar business with corporate conglomerates. We might have to suck the back teat from time to time. It would stand to reason that delays will be less and less as the process is perfected. All I know is that my hat is off to Lori's efforts. EDIT We should make her next project re-supplying our T top seals. How 'bout it Lori ?

I was at the shop yesterday sorting though the blems windows, I came across two sets that were custom ordered, one is a blue set with custom logos with 3800SC on them, the other set is factory tint with a custom logo LT1 above the GT. Anyone that wants these windows can have them for $150 a set, plus the tape kit, $20 plus shipping, $18. These are actually pretty nice windows, but they are blems and will require a little work to make them look great. I have already ordered new sets for the people that ordered these two sets. I paid $80 a set for the custom logos .I only have these two sets so it is first come first serve on these two sets.

Here are some blems installed in one of my cars, now keep in mind, you will need to do some sanding on the edges, once I saw the flaws in these, I stopped production, and they never were finish sanded, and I don't have the time to sand them, and I could not sell them for $100 a set if I did. I have a few sets left, so let me know if you want them, I will not have anymore blems once these are gone. Windows (blems) $100 a set Tape kit to install $20 for 2 windows Shipping is $18 Thank You Lori
Here is the area I am not happy with, there isn't enough roll in this area to make the window fit flush againt the car.
I looked at the areas pointed out, but the thing that stuck out to me was at the top, at the front roll inward. It sticks out. Is this the same thing you were pointing out, just in a different place? The non-blems will have this curvature fixed?
Is this the magic release week?

I would kill for a stock tint set with a 3.4 DOHC logo. (hint hint, wink wink)
I was originally going to offer custom graphics by having a decal made and applied to the inside of the window prior to the screen printing, but my screen printer refuses to put them on with decals, he doesn't think the decals will hold up. He will only do custom graphics by screen printing them on, this will require a custom screen to be made for every custom logo, and he charges $100 more per set to do them.

That window is just sitting there, it is not stuck down with the tape, the top edge is fine.

No, the ones people are receiving now are the blems. I guess I am going to have to either find a better way to ship these or raise the shipping cost. I have been shipping these by USPS priority mail, I shipped a set to Texas yesterday, and it cost me more than what I charged, not to mention I have over $5 just in packing supplies. The postal rates went up on Monday and they went up over $5 for each package I sent.

Fedex is the same as UPS they gonna get you with a fee at the delivry time
Fed ex is not UPS. I have used fed ex exclusively for the last 7 years. The only time I have ever gotten a fee more than the original quoted price is when I have shipped outside the US. If you are in the US and ship with FedEx inside the US, you pay when you ship it and you are done. no charge on delivery

yes, i did see that. but she was responding to someone from the US. She was mentioning extra charges shipping to Texas. She was not talking about shipping to Canada. And since the majority of her orders are likely in the US I still stand by that Fed Ex will save her some of her hard earned cash.

Incase you missed my post above, I wanted to ask, does the dot matrix on all of your windows look like the ones on this window? or does it look like this only on the blems. on this blem it looks disjointed and missaligned, and sort of smashed together like sections of straight dot matrix were cut into smaller pieces and staggered to look like they curve, especially at the corner bend.
Thanks

I have been following this thread for a while and I too wait patiently for these to materialize and though I don`t really need these yet, I will buy them when they are ready. I got to thinking after looking around the Fiero Store website, they sell replacement fastback taillight covers made from the original GM moulds, and it makes you wonder what ever happen to the original moulds for the quarter windows. They are probably under a couple of boxes in the back of some warehouse someplace. Oh well, keep up the good work MsLori.
