No reason to be dicks, if this was your thread promoting your product and someone else came on promoting someone elses product, tell me honestly you wouldnt be pissed. Like i told Robert, She has more than any and all of you combined into this project, Shes just as aggravated and pissed off about this whole thing as you guys are, why shes not making updates, i dont know, but its not like she hasnt posted email addresss where she can be reached, and she works at the fiero factory its not like that numbers a secret. Now she has a job to do there, so everyone and there grandma doesnt need to call her there, but if I had paid, and 6 months later still had no product, id call, this can be a 2 way thing, you dont have to wait for her to get on here and update, it turns out, unlike some people, she doesnt just sit at her computer all night after work, she has a life.

Dang KeithGT, CHILL OUT. Maybe I should have really explained my comment but I thought it was self-explainatory. First of all, I never saw that comment about someone else's product and I doubt many did because it looks like it was edited soon after it was posted. My point was every time someone wants an update, even when it's been almost a month certain people get all uptight and sarcastic basically telling the rest of us to shut up and wait and don't "clog up this thread". I have the utmost respect for MsLori and I know it will be worth the wait. Ever been to an event and it started late and the crowd gets restless?? Just wish she would quiet the crowd every now and then and let us know what the problem is. It's just anticipation for a superior product guys, that's all. Understand??

I'm with you. All we really know for sure is that they were at the screen printer's shop a month ago (week of May 21-25 specifically). Everyone's just curious if they're still there or not.
Of course we're assuming MsLori is OK. Has anybody heard from her?? She isn't sick or anything is she?? We could REALLY send her a lot of get well cards couldn't we.

Yes, I am here and I'm OK, just been really busy lately trying to get everything done. I decided to quit talking about them for a while. Seems like every time I talked about them something else happened. I have listened for months now to the screen printer blaming the molding shop and the molding shop blaming the screen printer for the hold ups. I work at least 20 miles away from both of these shops and just could not get away form my day job to go baby sit with them, I finally took a day off and got everyone involved to meet at the molding shop for a meeting. We actually ran some windows with everyone there to see what the problem was. We were originally screen printing them first and then molding them, and everyone was blaming the other for not getting the graphics in the right spot. Well we finally figured out that neither was to blame. It was the molding machine, sometime when they heated the plastic and stretched it over the mold, the plastic would stretch in one direction, the next time it might stretch in a different direction, not much, but enough to distort the graphics, or not center it just right. And then my molding man got sick and was out for a few days, and then his brother passed away, and since this is a family owned business, everything got shut down for a few more days. At this point a sane person would have given up, but no not me, I got together with the screen printer and set out to do something that hasn't been done before. We are now going to screen print them after they are molded, since the molding shop does a great job molding the windows, but they just could not get the graphics to come out centered all of the time. I just could not give up. I invested more money into a special made jig that would allow the screen printer to print on a curved surface, and if you ask any screen printing shop, they will tell you that this can not be done, but my man did figure out a way to do it. I got the good news today from him.

Glad to see that you are doing ok,and that things are still progressing.
Since the screen printing is now the main issue... What are the chances of getting rolling on plain sets that are just tinted dark...with no logos or dot matrix pattern?

Lori. I am also interested in a set with no printing or color as well, just the plain plastic. Since these are ready to this point can you shoot me a price and a lead time?
Thanks for the update Lori. Just a little report like this every 3-4 weeks will be fine for me. I know that ironing out the details or some problems can take more than a few days. I'm still waiting. Patiently.

Lori, Ya know, I wouldn't be opposed to a set with no graphics myself. If you have any of these from test runs, I would gladly take them right now. I would prefer just the stock tint though, not the dark tint.

OK, here is the latest. The molding shop delivered 25 sets of windows to the print shop this week. The print shop will start printing them on Monday. For those of you that wanted a blank set, (without graphics) I need for you to let me know now, so I can pull some sets out of the batch, please email me here, Fierosolutions@aol.com The blank sets will be $200 a set + $18 shipping, and will include the correct tape to install them with instructions. For those of you that have waited so patiently, it's almost over.
Thank You Lori

Nice nice nice. So the "printer" finally manage to print on a curved surface like he was supposed to do to avoid the misalignement problem ?

IMO what Lori is trying to do is very difficult. She always seems to respond to comments on this post so I'll gladly give her the benefit of the doubt that she is diligently working on this project. The community needs a good source of quality quarter windows and I'll be keeping my eye on this post to see when the window manufacturing process is perfected and product becomes available. If there is only one fault that I can see it is that Lori may have spoken too soon about the availability. Still we wish her good luck.

Great news Lori (I just read the curved printing post). I know how it feels to have big projects take forever to be finished, stay in there. I'm glad you have the determination to see it through, as all of us (even if we don't demonstrate it), have SO much to benefit from your success. Again thanks!

FWIW - I have seen some of the blems (with the screenprinting), and they were still incredible! These will be well worth the wait. They are made from the best material, have all the right contours, and will rival even the ones that GM made.
Now if we can just get her to build a nice website with a shopping cart and PayPal link ...

Does anyone have a set of these yet? If so how about posting pix?? I'm waiting for an email from Lori about the availability of the no-logo tinted versions, but have heard nothing yet. I would be happy if I could just figure out exactly what the status is, but that seems to be too much to ask and I don't want to be trouble maker.

Whoa! This is really wierd. For a second there, I thought I had a response!!
