Has a final price been decided yet? I'm putting my T-top in for paint next week and I would sure hate to have to put my old ones back on with the new paint.
No, the "final" price has not been determined just yet, we will have to see what the total cost of making these is when we get some made, all I can say at this time, is the final price will be competitive.

We have had a (hopefully) minor setback, the print shop we were dealing that said they could do the graphics, now tell us they can't do them the way they thought they could and will have to do them a different way and the price to do them that way is triple the price they quoted us to start with, and that won't work, so I am going to go get my deposit back and go talk to someone else about them on Monday.

These set backs happen in a project like this. graphics can be done at a thousand different places, but getting the curvature correct is priceless. Any chance you have a pic or two of a molded window yet? even without graphics it would be hopefull to us all to see something we can sink our Fiero fangs into

Getting the windows molded isn't a problem here, we already have the molds and the molding process taken care of, it's the dot matrix trim I am having a hard time getting done, we had one print shop tell us they could do it and we left a set of windows with them and a deposit and we went about getting the molds and molding process started, and then after 2 weeks they tell us they made a mistake and wouldn't be able to do them, so I had to start over on finding someone that could. I have went to many shops here that advertise they do screen printing and most of them say they can't do them because of the size, but I did talk to one of the shops here that say yes, "we can do that" so now I am waiting for them to do one and see how it comes out. The main problem here is they can't screen print on a curved surface, they can only do it on a flat surface, which means they have to be printed before they are molded, which also means when they are molded, they have to be in the mold perfect, otherwise the graphics will be off center, which also complicates the molding process, but we will get them done, it is just taking a little longer than expected, everyone hang in there because I'm not giving up at this point.

As so many others have said already in this thread - if they truly are just like the factory originals, I'd like a set. Heck I may buy another set just as spares.

We are still waiting on the print shop, we had a setback, the first print shop that said they could do it, couldn't, so we had to start over looking for someone that could, and we think we found someone that could, and he is working on a solution and he is very busy so we are still waiting on him.

Just to let everyone know that we are serious, here is a picture, this one is one of the scraps, it didn't get into the mold just right, the rest of the ones came out great but are at the print shop waiting for the graphics. Just wanted to keep everyone updated.

Your screwed up window in the pic you posted with no graphics looks 90% better than any of the aftermarket windows currently being passed off as "quality reproductions"
Very nice work so far. I have a feeling these are going to be the answer to a lot of fastback owners dreams!
Thanks for the update and keep them coming!

i dont even have a Fiero yet, and I would order these! I have bought some aftermarket ones before, and wouldn't do it again. I know this question has been asked before, but I have not seen a answer, will you sell them here or on your own web site? Thanks LUKE

OK, everyone, we are almost ready to take orders, we finally got our first "sample" back and it looks great. You have to use your imagination here, as this window is not trimmed yet, but you can see how it has been formed, this one will go on the wall, and we will be signing a contract tomorrow. Lori

Lori: All joking aside, if you happen to have one that dosent "make the cut," I'd really love to have one of those. I know a PERFECT PLACE to hang something like that!
LMK if it happens!
Looks good BTW also!

I'll take at LEAST one set. I know you're going for the NOS factory look, but is there any chance you'll produce some dark tinted ones? I think there would be a demand!!

Yes, we will offer a choice on the tint.

It may just be the picture, but it looks almost like the top edge as it aproaches back curve is either not convex as the rest of the windown should be, but either flattens out or starts to concave. Like the top window edge follows the pink line in curvature when it should be more like the green line. Again, it is a small pic and difficult to see, and it could just be tricking my eyes. I guess like so many others, I am eager to see a trimmed piece up close. God I hope these things are dead on!
