Did anyone read this? how was I supposed to communicate, when I clearly stated that I could not. I did ask at least 3 people to relay my message to this forum, and I know at least 2 that did, but that wasn't enough for some of you. And as for me taking preorders, I only took a few orders when I had the product in hand, it was not until I started to pack them that I noticed the flaws,I had some personal issues that had to be dealt with, and that took priority over this project. I did pass on to those that I spoke to that this matter would be taken care of as soon as I could and to please let everyone know. I would like to ask those of you that are so quick to judge me, what have you accomplished? If I were trying to rip people off as some of you have stated, why would I be here now? It would be much easier to just ignore you and your uninformed comments. I have found a company that wants those little orders like this, and if everything goes as planned, I will own that company soon, and this window project will be totally under my control, I will remember you.
MsLori
Wow, just wow what an attitude, one we've seen from you before. I seem to recall an ugly thread regarding an Indy, you were acting all huffy and puffy, and copping a big attitude then as well. It didn't win you any friends then and it's not helping now.
You've been silent for more than a year, yeah we saw the second hand messages, we're not impressed, were you so broke that you couldn't drag your sorry ass to a public library to get online, did you not have a phone to call the people that you left high and dry, I'm asking this because out of the blue you seem to be in a position to own the company to make your windows, what happened, did you hit the LOTTO???
I seriously doubt that you will ever be able to restore any kind of credibility to yourself and your projects here.
I guess that was one way to approach it. I'm sure you thought of other ways to make your entry back into the mix, after having departed with far less fan fare. I won't jump on the band wagon and throw any stones at you...I emptied my pockets with Mr. Andrew. Instead, I will offer two books for you to invest in as you look to buying and starting your new business. You can get them both on amazon.com used.
I offer these both as honest recommendations. I've followed the work you've done since I joined this forum back in 2001. This isn't your first project, and by the fire in the words you type, it probably won't be your last attempt either. Good for you. I'd wish you well, but you'd probably construe that as an insult and put me on your list too.
Ahem...speaking of lists...below is the latest. Let me know if I've missed anyone. Oh, and MsLoriFiero, let me know if you'd like to be added as a DWB or PWB for a set. If you've followed this post as you say, you can't deny that these are going to be some awesome productions.

You worded that like you ordered and payed for a set of windows from me, giving people the impression I ripped you off as well, but the truth is you never did, so why did you and several other people give others people that impression?
I also would prefer to buy from Pokey. Supporting someone with honesty and integrity is important to me even if it costs a few $ more. I wouldn't even consider buying from a mrchant that hadn't made good on all his previous orders. As far as I can tell there are still many people that are owed windows plus interest on the $200 loan they gave you so you could pay for the manfacturing. $10 plus the windows would be fair n my estimation. (5% interest).
Once I hear all previous orders have been filled then maybe I would reconsider.

I know who I owe and the count is less than 5 at this time, which I will take care of. MsLori

Well I have been reading this thread for a while and have no prejudice from either of the people making this product nor do I mean any disrespect to anyone. However from reading all of the inconsistencies, first its 10 people then 5, then asking who's owed a set, I mean come on. Put me down on the list for definately will buy a set (from Pokey). After reading about what some other people have went through, I would not even want to take a chance fearing that this will happen to me.

I think she will make good if she can. You have nothing to lose to give her the benefit of the doubt. I don't think anyone can say this has been done through malice. Don't get me wrong. I am fairly upset to have invested this much time and money when a simple phone call could have averted that. I do look at it this way. I have learned a tremendous amount of knowledge about an industry I never would have broken into had it not been for this and that is invaluable to a freelance guy like me. The contacts alone are worth what I have into this. I'm going to get my money back sooner or later and probably those that have pre paid for their panels will also.

My, it sure is quiet in here; I hope this means everyone had a good Thanksgiving. I want to respond to those that think I have a bad attitude. I think you are correct, I responded out of anger and I should not have, and had I taken a few minutes to think about it, I would not have. I have not been on here for a while and when I read some of the comments, I got very angry. I think most of you would feel anger if this was you. I am not making excuses just a little explanation. I have put a lot into this project, a lot of money and time; it had become such an obsession to me that it totally consumed me financially as well as mentally. I also had some devastating personnel issues come up that had to take priority over anything. I had to just put this aside temporary to deal with other things. Over the last year a lot has changed in my life, but I do not wish to discuss them, they are personal, please try to understand that. Most of the last year I have done without anything that was not absolutely necessary, (which included a phone) I did not post updates for the reasons, (1) without a phone is was difficult, (2) I was dealing with the personal issues I had, (3) I didn't really know what to say to everyone, I have asked and asked people to wait though one problem and then another, I got tired of asking that and people were getting tired of hearing it. I just retreated into my own little world to try to come up with a solution. A lot of you seem to think it should just be so simple, but you never know what you would do when things just pile up on you the way it did to me, sometimes it just overwhelms you. I do think this post has blown this situation out of perspective and a lot of the comments made, were made by people that really didn't have a reason to be angry with me, although some do. I have never said to anyone that I have given up on this project, and tried to relay that message though others, "that I am still trying". I didn't know where this journey was going to lead me, or in what direction, all I knew for sure, is I was going to complete it, failure is not an option for me.This has taught me a lot, and has taken me places, where I never dreamed of going. I want to ask all of you this: Did anyone ever consider, “wow” she has to much into this, why would she just take a few orders and then disappear when she had so much into it? Maybe something is wrong? I have never been a dishonest person and never intend to be, although I have been ripped myself a few times. If I were a dishonest person, I would have, and could have taken a lot more orders than I did. I am sorry for those that did order and got caught in the backlash, but I was not going to send windows out that were not what they should be, but I am here now and will settle up with everyone to the point that I am the only one out anything concerning this project, and then maybe we can continue. I have been involved in the Fiero community for a long time, and god willing, I will be for a long time to come. I will never post anything again as long as there is an “if” involved, I will only post the facts when I know it is a “fact” I would understand anyone being cautious about wanting to deal with me, I probably would feel the same way if I were you. Have you ever felt that you were ripped, when in fact you really were not and then have that person come back and say, here I am, let's deal with it?.........) On the other side, I have 2 nice sets of red windows that have not been spoken for, if someone wants them, the price is $250 a set plus $20 shipping, These windows have the dot matrix printed on them, but I have not applied the GT as yet, I left that blank for now so someone could have a custom logo applied if they want, the price of $250 does include a stock GT , and the correct tape to install them. Keep in mind that because these windows are red all the way though, that any logo will not show as well as they do on a stock window. If someone wants these with a custom logo, I will do the custom for an additional $30. I also have a few factory tint blank sets if someone still wants those. MsLori

And I just painted that window, (took me all day to trim it) I'm not going to post any pictures of the "other" windows or promote them until I get everything squared away with everyone.

It's been a while since I posted. Don't come to the mall much. I was following this thread, and defending MsLori, and I did prepay for a set. I was offered a set of her blems at no cost, till my good ones came in. Then just pay for the blems. I paid for the blems upfront. (They are mighty nice I might add.) I did not mind spending my money up front. Even after all the delays. I looked upon it as my contribution to making a product we all want possible. When I heard of her difficulties, I could only think that no wonder the product does not all ready exist. I still believed in her efforts as she was well spoken of here. I also noticed that she was badgered beyond belief with when when when(?). Every update brought on more badgering. I could easily understand her reluctance to post. Could she have handled it better ? Yes. Could I ? I would like to think so. I am sure everyone here feels that they can. I knew she was not a rich person. I knew that if it fell through from reasons beyond her control, it would be tough to pay back monies. I accepted a risk in helping her fund the enterprise and have never regretted it. I though saw it as a risk. Others saw it as a done deal. I think that there is blame to go round. Of course she had more control and shares a greater portion of the blame. However, we do know that she tried. We also know how hard it is from Pokey's efforts. She had also mentioned personal difficulties. I do agree her reimergence with attitude has not helped her image. I believe she realizes this also. This is a community. We all learn from each other. We also learn from ourselves. I have made mistakes. My kids have made mistakes. One has to learn how to forgive. My wife married me and I forgave her, . Lori made some mistakes. She seems to be trying to rectify them. I am sure she has learned from this ordeal. I am also sure that she is the same person she was before this venture.
Pokey, as I said, I do not get in the mall much and have not been in this thread for quite a while. I do commend you for also taking on this venture. Should I need another set I would support your efforts. Not to take anything away from MsLori though. As mentioned, competition is good. For quality and price.
I guess my opinion is from that I recognized this as a risk.

I will have to add that, everyone was MsLori's friend when she tried to do something which had not been done. I also commend her for trying, which she did.

Basicly this sums it up... $hit happens, she's making it right... yes, it took awhile... some compared her to F-I-E-R-O.... F-I-E-R-O would continue buying/selling stuff or chatting elsewhere to avoid us, while Mslori basicly stopped all internet functions. (and making those badges were much simplier process than these windows) I did have some communication with Ms. Lori throughout the time and even when I moved in April, I was "somewhat" able to contact her with my new email address and home address, and throughout the process I was told things(personal and problems with the companys doing the work) and although was not told to keep it to myself, it seemed that it would only stir more fires if I posted the information. I am glad she is back and setting things right, and I hope both her and Pokey can do thier things in a professional manner that will allow different options to us. Andrew

...been some time since I posted in this thread, but I will DWB.
From who it does not matter, as long as the quality price and shipping options are good. Right now I am looking at 2 sets. To all those that are trying to make a discontinued part..
