Okay....

It should go w/out saying, since the last what...20 pages have ALL been for Pokey's Window's...but for the less than patient or challenged...this particular purchase intent list is ONLY FOR POKEYFIERO OEM GT WINDOWS. I'm sure there is someone who would prefer Lori's product and can start a seperate list.

I was wondering if someone could sum up these thirty plus pages!! The more I read the more confused I get. Is the product currently available or not? I'm in the market to replace the sail panels on my GT. Currently, I'm considering JimmyS's fiberglass paneles simply because I have not seen any that meets my expectations. I have purchased and returned a couple in the hopes of receiving a product I was happy with. So, the big question at this point................. what direction do I take?

Thanks,

Thanks,

Here is the deal man.
Lori opened this thread generating interest in Sailpanels. After a while she made some. They looked great. She had problems getting them made. She took a few preorders and then didn't deliver. She stopped communicating with people.
People got mad.

After awhile I decided to see what the hell was so hard about making these. Turns out it ain't easy. It is actually very difficult to make them perfect.
During the process of seeing what it takes to make them I decided to try and make them.
I have made a few and have a process that makes them consistently the same every time. I sent the molds back for mods to make them better.
I finished them and am ready to make panels but don't have enough cash to make enough to be profitable. Might be a couple months before I can cash out of other deals to be able to produce more than a couple at a time. I promise nothing. Timeframe unknown. I won't take any paid pre orders sorry.

Lori returns.
Gets kinda pissy then calms down and is trying to make everything right. I believe she has started getting some of her old pre orders out to waiting customers that paid in full something like a year or more ago.
She may have a completed production ready to start selling to customers.
She views this thread now so maybe she can tell you if she has anything available yet.

If you need panels right away she may be a better solution for you. She made a decent panel before when I viewed them.

For those that feel this thread should be abandoned I have to disagree. This is a history of what the hell is really going on for those interested in reading it.
I personally am not selling anything through this thread. When I have a perfect product ready to ship I will start a thread for orders. This thread stopped being a sales offering thread long ago. I became a thread about how to get panels to this community. So I intend to continue updating progress in this thread where it will do the best for people interested. I think Lori should /will do the same. The topic is Exact replacement GT windows. If anything should be changed it maybe should be moved to General Fiero Chat.

This coming from a guy who places bids on eBay auctions, sends PM saying "OK, did I win ?" then cancels his bid. yeah ... teach people about ethics ....

Otherwise, Nice to see people getting their stuff and sources developing for these hard-to-find and needed items.

Agreed. And a thanks. I've been browsing around to see whats available at what cost, quality, etc... I just got laid off, so won't be buying for a couple of months now.... but I for one, like to have an idea of not only the product quality, work/time invested, but who it is. I am dealing with and customer satisfaction. So, I've read the last 35 pages (took some time )

Personally I hope both parties can accomplish their goals. Healthy competition usually keeps vendors honest, and raises the quality bar.

At this point there's not much else to go on other than how the customers have been treated. Like everyone else, I work hard for the money I have, and after seeing others have their dollars and cents go missing in action for an extended period of time (no matter what the circumstances). That's a risk I'd be hard pressed to take.

Here's hoping this story has a happy ending

But, yes, for people like myself, I am glad this thread is still current.

I'm close to post all the messages and mail and PM i had with her since December 2006 .
Specially the one in the last few months.
Some guys here have sent some bad mail and PM when i was complaining .
But i asked them what would they have done if it has happened to them .
I see peoples here complaining for like 35.00$
Don't know why peoples are defending the ones that are not delivering the pieces when they've been paid for ?

There is no hurry man. There are so many problems right now that sailpanels seem to be a frivolous fantasy.
Let's just hope the economy gets better so we can again love on our cars.

I just got to pay the big bills first ya know.Sorry. If it makes anyone feel better my car doesn't have any sailpanels either.

Just wanted to bump some support for Pokey.

Also, I had a morbid curiosity as to what the .......story might be on this latest disappearing act of Lori's is. Or is this another one of those abrupt Lori vanishings that require a team of private investigators or an army of phone calls and emails to her home and work email to pry out the latest yarn.

I know, I come off as sounding a little cynical in this post, I have no idea why...

I asked this
Hi
So what are your plans regarding my quarters and is it possible for me
to get refunded instead
Thanks
her answer
First, I would like for you to introduce yourself, I have no idea who you are from this email.
Lori

answer to the refund question
Robert, I have your windows ready and planned on shipping them this week, getting a refund right now really wouldn't be possible, I have the windows but not much money. If you want, we can sell this set to someone else, and I can ship them to their address and they can just pay you, I know you paid extra for shipping because your in Canada, and I can refund the difference of the shipping to you if we sell to someone here in the states. Let me know what you want to do. I wish I had the money to just refund it, but right now I don't.

Lori

i asked her

> Give me until tonight for what i'm gonna do .
> The set you have are they complete with the dot matrix and the GT

answer
Yes, they are nice windows

my other question

Good golly Miss Lori
Any good news for my Quarter Windows .
Answer

Hi, Robert. The weather has been raining here so much the last week and we have so much water everywhere. I have been trying to get everything dried out. Painting with this much humidity doesn't work well. I will be working all weekend drying things out and getting these out. I was really trying to get these last few sets to people by Christmas but time is running short for that, but I will get them out.

Lori

Question

What are you painting on these ?
Aren't they supposed to be printed ?

answer
On this batch I have to finish them, the print shop printed the dot matrix, and I have to apply the GT emblem and finish painting the black over that. I didn't want to wait for them to do it, so I agreed to do that part of it. It kinda works out better for those that want "custom" graphics, since I can do those myself now, and can do them whatever way they want since I now have my own graphics shop. I still can't do screen printing so that has to be done by someone else.

Lori

Question
Any aproximative date ?

Few unanswered mail

1- Hi Miss Lori .
Any development in my quarter windows ?

2- Hi any news for the quarter ? you sent the one for back on holiday ,
since then nobody received any ?
And i think i'm not the only one that had paid for ? was not just me and
back on holiday .

3- Hi maybe you didn't get my last mail ?

a sudden answer

Good Morning Robert, I had some unexpected (but pleasant) company for Christmas, and to top it off, I got the flu. I have spent the last few days in bed. I will be getting out today and going to work, hopefully I will feel better. I need some of that luck you have. LOL

Lori

another with no answer

As time goes by i realize that another week bite the dust .
Any news ? good or bad ?
another mail with an answer

Hi any news ? been a while again

Not if I can help it, I may have been quiet, but I'm not dead. Anyone that I owe a set of window to, Please contact me.
MsLori

I DID?

i can add some PM i had with her too

Any news ?
It's a bit mixed but i have so many that it is pretty hard to get them in order

Here is an example of what kind of windows she brought at NIFE and gave at somebody ( told you i don't want to show names without their permission c)And that person sold them to someone else without looking in the box . And this is what they looked likes when he received them . After a few talking he get refunded
Don't know if the first person send them back to Miss Lori ?
But here they are , for the sceptics

And also i know that the ones of Back on Holiday are nice , i sent him a PM and he answered me that they were very nice , saw the picture too in the thread

And the guy that the pictures are from told me also that the curvatures were perfect on these .

I can't imagine if she would had send these to me , what would had been the haslle to get refunded .

If the peoples that have been involved in that transaction want tho shime in they are welcome to do it .

Point is that i didn't get mine since 2 1/2 years .

And she's selling some to other peoples and offering them too .

Robert,I would appreciate it if you wouldn't post things like this, I have been communicating with you though emails, please let's keep it that way. Your windows and several others will go out on Monday, I still had to finish the graphics and pack them and take them to the post office. Since I still have a full time job, most of the work I do on these windows, I have to do on weekends. Yours are ready, just not packed yet.

MsLori
then i answered her this

Sorry i didn't mean no harm . I was just asking .
I know i always comunicate with you by mail . Thanks for the info and would be nice to have them on for Xmas .
