Just out of pure curiosity without anyone speculating or guessing does anyone other than Ms. Lori know exactly who has paid her for windows and have not received either the windows or a refund as of today?

I first read this thread in January 2006 when it first opened and try to catch up about every 6 months. It appears that there are a large number of folks who just like to post and beat up on her who have invested nothing, lost absolutely not one penny, but still enjoy telling the rest of us in a negative manner what you think of her.

NEWS FLASH !!!
If your not part of the solution, your part of the problem.

pokeyfiero, for what it is worth, I think your part of the solution to the window shortage but I think you should have started your own thread.

If your not one of the people that has paid Ms. Lori for windows and are still waiting, read the post and move on, I don't care what you think of her and don't need to read it. I cannot understand why some of you feel a need to say the same thing over and over just to fill up 35 pages and 1400 posting.

For those of you who feel so inclined to reply to this, unless your one of the ones who has paid Ms. Lori for windows and are posting to let us all know who you are and how many window sets she needs to produce to satisfy outstanding orders don't post it here, email me with a SUBJECT: Fiero GT Windows, otherwise it will probably get deleted since I have a habit of deleting emails I don't recognize the address.

Just curious. Who exactly made you the Police for this thread/window problem? You come in here with extremely stern talk and start barking judgments at people you don't know and condeming people who post their views here who are not involved monetarily with Lori.

First of all this is a forum where only Cliff can tell people to stop posting.
Secondly, if you don't like what people are posting here, then it is as simple for you as "Not clicking" on the thread here. Personally if I had lost money I would welcome support from fellow members.
And finally, I don't recall anyone who has lost money to Lori asking for you or anyone else to jump up and "take command" of this thread. Since they are infact the ones who lost money here, why don't you just chill a bit and wait to see if they;

A) want you to become king here, or
B) want people who are posting here who are not directly involved to shut up like you think they should. This is in my opinion their problem and their thread (along with Pokey of course and potential customers of his). So why not wait for que's from them and just take your own advice and not post here if you are not directly involved since it means so much to you.

Edit: I understand you are perhaps just trying to help. But there are more productive ways you can offer your assistance without being so abrasive and hostile.

I have never posted in this thread before and I HAVE NOT PURCHASED WINDOWS so Bill if you want to skip this one feel free to do so (you're privilege). You can clearly see from her comments that she reads this thread. It seems to me that as a business person (however bad) she should be interested in what her potential future customers think of her business practices. If other people did not comment I think she would be less likely to EVER send the windows (not saying that I think she ever will).

Anyway YOUR POST IS SELF DEFEATING since you (I assume) are not one of the people that she owes windows so you have violated your own rule. You have also caused at least two other (and I expect to see more) posts that would not have been made if you had not expressed YOUR opinion. BUT just like everyone else in this thread it is your right to have an opinion and express it no matter how worthless it is.

Man I couldn't help but post. I haven't ordered windows (yet) but I am sure one day I will have to so I figure my post would be kind of relevant. Here goes:

Remember that opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one and if it isn't yours it will probably stink.

Nuff siad.

I have been watching this since it first was posted. I do need sails and having a nice new perfect fitting set would be great.

That said, when someone from the posting police tells me not to post... Well I just had to.

P.S. I was going to buy a set from Ms. Lori but I was figured I would wait until the car was painted. After paint I then saw the problems. Waiting for Pokey/

Same boat I'm in; I had planned on a paint job in 2007, then 2008, now maybe 2009 if she finally ships the windows to me. I suppose looking back, its probably a good thing I didn't prep the car for painting back in Spring of 2007 since I would have had to put the crappy old (aftermarket) windows back on.

If I recall many pages back, Pokey did try to start his own thread, but everyone continued to come back to this one. I guess this thread is the focal point for original-type GT sail panels regardless of who is selling them.

I am one of the lucky ones who did not order from MsLori and lose money. I now look at this thread as Pokey's thread. I keep an eye on it to monitor his progress and lend moral support to his efforts.

I paid.

Last email I get from her (which she sent on Christmas Day), was that she'd be shipping mine on the upcoming weekend.

Now its almost March and no word from her at all.

Shes apparently still selling on eBay. But 2 1/2 years? This is not good. Lori should be ashamed of herself.

Unless I am mistaken. Taking money from multiple people in other states and not delivering the goods is a federal offense. I think there are enough of you to actually get the authorities to take this situation very seriously. The combined dollar amount is quite large enough.

2+ years,
no communication possible,
and she is selling the items she owes you on ebay...
There is enough proof with just a few finger clicks to show authorities what she has done.

This could quite easily translate into jail time for her. Although it would be up to those who have lost the money whether or not to pursue this kind of action.

Now, to hedge off any outrage at my suggesting this sort of thing, you might consider that if she qualifies for this kind of legal infraction then she does so because of her own nefarious actions, not because of people "out to get her".

There are a lot of "really nice" people in jail because they robbed people of money. That is why the law is there, to protect those who are wronged, and I see a lot of people wronged here. Although I have not lost money on this, to see her selling these windows on ebay, taking money from people via paypal and likely sending the product to them post haste while simultaniously ignoring the PFF'ers who sent her their money 2 years ago infuriates me.

Perhaps the possibility of spending time behind bars will spur her into refunding money or shipping the windows she apparently has in her possession.

I cannot tell you enough how much I am in total agreeance with FieroMonkey. Well said. I hate thieves. That is why I have my house and garage alarmed. I have four cameras hooked up to my computer. I also keep a Mossberg under my bed, and another in a closet. My sig says it all. I have lost everything due to thievery in the past. I am not willing to ever have it happen again!

Sliver of hope and happiness.

I received a slight glimpse of hope today. It is likely or not impossible one of my many debtors will be forced to pay me in about two months. I personally do not get excited at any news but this does actually look promising.
There would be sufficient funds to cover any size run I need to make. So hope is not dead. It is on a respirator though.

I try hard not to hope but I really really do because besides saving my ass financially I will actually get some damned windows on my car! Woo Hoo!!!! Oops, I uh? Ok I need to settle down a bit. No excitement here. Just a glimpse. I must repeat to myself just a glimpse.

Around June 1st we are going to turn out a batch hopefully for final tests. If there is absolutely nothing wrong and I do mean absolutely nothing and the printer can get a few printed then there is a slim and I mean super slim chance I will bring about twenty sets to West Fest!

If any one thing goes wrong then I doubt it will be possible.

I have the money for the project set up for 30 days from now.
If every duck lines himself up in a straight line then I think we can kill them all with one bullet so to speak. So I am hoping no ducks get out of line.

So after I get 20 or so out for public inspection and hear some responses and constructive critique the we can tweak if needed and start a thousand unit run.

The first twenty or so will not have nice shipping boxes ready so probably just local inspection will be available.

I am finally excited about this project again. For a minute I wanted to run it over with my tractor.

Note that these did not come via the mail or UPS; they were picked up at the Fiero Factory open house and brought back here to Illinois by another forum member. Although they were packed and sealed in a box with my address printed on the mailing label, I don't know her schedule as to when the others are to be shipped.

I will admit these are quite a bit better than the ones pictures on the previous page in this thread, particularly when it comes to the printing of the dot matrix pattern. The ones pictures earlier are full of printing blemishes; mine have only a couple very minor inconsistencies in the printing. I really can't complain about the printing.

I haven't compared the "GT" logo with those on my car. My car currently has the flat aftermarket windows, so I'm not sure it would be a good basis for comparison.

They do need a little cleanup. Along the bottom, there looks to be a little leftover polish or buffing compound. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but I moistened my finger and it came right off when I touched it. The inside surface of the clear part of the windows feels a little dusty, or something. I think some glass cleaner will take care of it. The black portion of the window appears uniform in shade without any scratches or holes.

My biggest concern is the curve along the upper edge of the windows; the arc of the curve isn't exactly uniform. I'm not sure it shows in the picture. I've never removed a GT window, so I'm not sure, but I wonder how much tolerance there is along the top edge. Does it "tuck under" the roof or drip rail at all? If so this is probably nothing to worry about. My car is home in the garage and I'm looking at the windows here at the office, so I can't compare. I'll post more once I've had a direct comparison.

The biggest complaint I would have if I had bought them would be the very obvious difference in the black that surrounds the dot-matrix. It is definately darker than the rest of the window and I imagine this will only look worse under the direct light of the sun.

But if you are happy with them then that is all that counts.

I will wait for Pokey's windows.

Interesting how different it looks here at home on this monitor vs. in my office at work. Unfortunately I didn't bring the windows home to look at them outside in the daylight. That'll be the best diagnosis.

You're in a good position since you'll be able to choose between Pokey's and Lori's windows. I didn't have that option having paid long ago; even when I tried (a year ago) to get a refund via Paypal I was unsuccessful since it was way past what Paypal considers reasonable time for a dispute.

Sorry guys, but I've seen a set of Lori's windows...very disappointed...the finish is crap, the dot-matrix design is poor.

I lost $100USD on a transaction from someone on this forum that could simply look in the box before he shipped them to me. Whatever overspray there is, I'd be ashame to sell windows like that. BTW, I don't appriciate white dog hair in the contained package. It doesn't look good for a vendor or its 2nd seller. I have a right to be mad, because I am the customer. The only positive comment was the curve.

I have a brand new paint job on my GT. I don't think finishing the car with a product that looks worse that original GM blems will do.

Still, I don't know why windows are made from MsLori, and they end up being sold in Chicago. And for the seller that sold them to me..."there NOT the best out on the market right now".

Again, sorry guys...that's my honest opinion. There junk.

Pokey has the market for these windows now in my book.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bag on your windows. I understand you were trapped on the purchase, and actually you're pretty lucky you got anything at all. You might be able to sell them on Ebay and recoup some of your costs if you decide you aren't happy with them, and then put that towards a purchase of Pokey's if he starts selling sets and they are as nice as we all hope they will be.

What I find rather funny is this... https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/075637.html

A lot of people went to the swap meet/retirement gathering and no one had the balls to ask where the hell Loris windows were? My understanding was that she worked there and yet no one attempted to find her and kick some sense into her.

Does anybody can confirm if she's on or not , then if she's on just circle her .
Just to have an idea of what she looks like , for further references ..

She does work there. I was at the 2008 swap meet and she was there with her blems.

I have always heard great things about Ed Parks. It is a little disappointing that he would allow her to operate her window debacle from his establishment.
