wait isnt a concern as long as its before march. The Blue Devil has gone hibernation for the winter, might pop its head out once in awhile for one of its sisters to occupy the garage temporarly.....

Finally, I received this window today for my approval from the manufacture that is making the windows for me, and with the exception of 2 small areas where I asked that he trim a little better, the window is perfect, the molding and the graphics are just awesome. All of the setbacks are over, the screen printer is ready to print them and the molding shop is ready to mold them, and I have bought a pallet of plastic to produce them. This window was made with tinted plastic, because he didn't want to take a chance on wasting some of the new sheets that are meant for production. He will make me 1 more that I will pick up on Friday, and if I approve that one, production will start on Monday. This is not a great picture, but I can't seem to find a good spot here to take a better one, I will get better pictures tomorrow. Lori
What is the price again? Was it 200.00 for a set? Thanks!
Sorry, I have spent so much on getting these made, the price will have to be $249 a set plus $18 shipping. These windows are so close to the original GM windows, that it would be hard to tell that they aren't GM windows.

Lori is very much respected, not only by myself, but by MANY members of the fiero community. When things went downhill with the last batch, WHICH WAS NOT HER FAULT. she used HER OWN MONEY to refund everyone who had bought a set. She got screwed there, but didnt quit, and im glad she didnt, cause she finally has the window shes been shooting for. You have NOTHING to worry about. Shes not out to screw people, shes put more time and money into getting these windows made then most people put into there fieros. She just wants to do something good for the fiero community.

You don't have to worry about that, when I announce that I am taking orders, you will get what you ordered. I could have had some windows made months ago if I was willing to settle for less than perfect quality, but that is not what I set out to accomplish. There was a lot of setbacks along the way, but when you try to get as many people coordinated as it took to get these made, it happens. One company has to make the molds, one company has to set up the molding process, and a different company has to handle the screen printing, and because of the curves on these windows, the screens had to be made and ordered from still another company and made special just for this process, all of this takes time, because one company has to wait on the other to proceed with the next step. I do not have a partner anymore to handle some of this and the QA on these are my responsibility now, which I take serious and I still work a full-time job also and I have invested a LOT of money into these windows. I have also tried to keep everyone informed along the way. Keith has seen this window sitting on a car, and is a very good witness to the quality of them and Thank You very much Keith for your kind words.

sweeeet. I've been putting off replacing the quarter windows on both my GT's till these are ready. A couple sets of those would look nice wrapped up under the Christmas tree. Is it abnormal to give Christmas presents to inanimate objects ?

I would like to buy a set of these windows from you. How can I pay you and when would they be available? I am ready to buy now!
"GT" with Matrix. Or how much for "Jay's GT" with matrix? "Jay's GT" could be on a single line or two lines. With the blue tint too..... How much for Blue tint with Matrix and a "Jay's GT" logo including shipping?
How long to get it?
Do you have a picture of one with custom graphic applied?
I would also like to buy the cupholders (less gap if possible), the glove box and the analog guage cluster (grey interior). 110 MPH is fine.
Name your prices. Please build them again.

The price for the factory tint windows (which is almost clear, just a slight tint) will be $249 a set and I bought the acrylic by the pallet to keep the price as low as possible. Custom colors will have to be $20 more since I have to buy it by the sheet and it cost more to buy it that way. Custom logos will add another $30 to the price, because I have to pay to have them made and applied. Custom colors and custom logos will be special orders and may take as long as 2-4 weeks to get made. As far as the cup holder and glove box and custom dash, my partner made them and I sold them, and since I no longer have that partner, I can not supply those items for you anymore. I am however working on getting the "second generation" cup holder made, but is still in the planning stage, and I have no idea when they will be available

Well, today was the day, we had a final meeting, with the screen printer and the molding shop all at the molding shop, and I approved everything to start production. So production has started, since this is the first batch I am not sure how many days from start to finish it will be, I am guessing 1 week. This will be for the factory tint windows, all custom orders will still be 2-4 weeks from the day they are ordered. Here are some pictures of my second "sample" window, which was made with smoked plastic, this will be the shade of the smoke when someone orders smoked windows..Anyone that wants to order a set of these windows, please email me at this address. Fierosolutions@aol.com For those on my waiting list, I will be emailing you soon. Once this new batch is done, I will try to keep the factory tint in stock, any other color or shade will be custom orders. Factory tint windows $249 custom shades add $20 custom graphics add $30 shipping to the lower 48 states will be $18 Shipping to Canada will be $35
Thank You Lori

They look spectacular Lori, Sorry about jumping the gun. I am in no hurry to recieve them so just keep the funds until you are ready. I will probably have to go spend some time in Iraq before I can install them anyway.

MsLori, First I want to congratulate you on the success of all your hard work. I can not believe how fantastic these windows look. I am inclined to agree that because of the overall curvature and thickness of your windows that these are likely better than original.
I am trying to curb my selfish enthusiasm with thoughts of continued success with these windows for you. This has got to me the single best contribution to preserving the GT Fiero since FieroStore continued GT tail light production. And likely more valuable to us than those tail lights as there were far more asthetic solutions to taillights for GT's than there were window replacements.
With that said. I would REALLY like to encourage you to contact FieroStore RIGHT NOW and let them know what you have done, with pictures of the final result! I was working with them about 1 year ago in an attempt to get Lexmar co. to restart production of the original GT sail windows. We failed because Lexmar wanted a minimum of 10,000 orders up front to even think about starting again, as they said they would need to completely rebuild their assembly tooling to make them up to quality again (some of us remember how badly their last batches looked as their tooling aged). So Fierostore declined and decided to continue with the sale of its subpar replacement windows on their website.
I truely believe that FieroStore would be willing to place a LARGE order with you for your fantastic windows, which would DEFINATELY help you recoup some of your major costs on this project. Please consider this and give them an email or phone call. I want nothing more than you to have big business with these windows so that we can all have them available to us every time we replace a beat-up original set.
From me and all those who have been eagerly awaiting the holy grail part for GT Fieros. THANK YOU ^_^
Michael
P.S. I hope that my place on the waiting list is still there. If not please put me down for a set

Ms.Lori, I have sat on the side lines watching your ups and downs and I would like to just say "Thank you" for not giving up on your goal to make this product for us. Can you tell me the turn around time if I order a set (just a ruff guess like before christmas) and the paypal address of where to send the funds. Or could you start a new post that states all the information. Some people don't look at this topic because it has gone 6 pages. Please start a new one with all the info PLEASE. and Thank you again for helping the fiero community! Fiero John-WI

Thank You John, Robert and Michael, I really appreciate your comments. I am also waiting to see what the turn around time is, since this is the first batch with a very qualified manufacturer. A lot of time (and money) went into R&D on these windows. I had a full pallet of the acrylic sitting at the molding shop waiting on my approval to start production, I gave that approval yesterday to cut the pallet down to size and start production. After this first batch there should not be a turn around time, since I intend to keep them in stock, except for the custom orders, the turn around time on those will be 2-4 weeks. I do indeed feel that these are better than the originals because I know the history and flaws in the original windows, and they all had them. As far as contacting the Fiero Store, since we are both in the fiero business, I speak with Matt on a monthly basis if not weekly, and Matt is very much aware of my efforts to produce these, and I have a lot of respect for Matt, but I think it may be best to not put ALL of our eggs in one basket. I am planning to start a new thread once these are in my possession, I ordered 44 sets.
