Ron has a few of my parts now, as he's stated above. He has my auto shift bezel, the radio/ac bezel, and the speedo/tach bezel. He also has the plastic air intake piece sits that atop the throttle body of the 4.9. Maybe he'll post some pics.

If they had Gift Certificates for Christmas.. I'd put this on my wish list. Even if the "buyer / gift giver" only paid a couple $$ it would help with the full payment.

this is old one, ron the water transfer man called me a week ago saturday unsolisted and said my parts were ready and he would mail them monday 1/3/2011 and i should have them by thursday, nothing received yet. woodrow 50 and i have been keeping in touch on this deal, we both sent our orders in around the same time mine was oct 12, 2010 - three months!!!! we have had trouble getting in touch with him from the beginning, i finally got a telephone number from another member and woodrow has contacted him several times since. he has probably given us 10/15 excuses during this time and told us he would ship them at least 10 times. woodrow50 and i have figured we'll never see our parts or our money again. i think possibly ron should be banned before other members get caught up in the catch 22 woodrow50 and i are in. hope your not checking because your in the same boat as us.

No parts yet - pretty much as old one has stated. We've been waiting for our parts going on three months. I had been in contact with him from time to time but out of the blue tvhydrodip contacted me (as well as old one) on 12/30/10 or 12/31/10 (can't remember which) , apologizing about the delay and promised to get the parts out the following monday. Since he took the time to call us and apologize I'm still hoping he'll do the right thing and come through with the parts.

I got mine back. Was very pleased with them too. I'm a little disappointed too because I had a couple more items I would have liked to have gotten done. I had even discussed with him on the possibility of a high temperature application for the engine bay area.

Wow, I REALLY hate to hear this! I had been in contact back when he offered the service. I picked out a nice blue carbon fiber look, and was going to send all my face plates, dome light cluster, and door handle surrounds to have done

Woodrow and old one your parts will be shipped out tomorrow for sure. I apologize that I said that I would send them out last Monday and didn't. Many things have came up with moving and then not being able to do this out of my garage and having to finally get a building. Do not lose faith. You will receive your parts. As soon as I send the parts I will be sending a pm with the tracking numbers. I only have the internet on my phone so I am going to send Jimmy S the pics of the parts to post. Once again I apologize for the inconvenience.

While I didn't have anything to do with their transaction, you may want to consider this...
This is a small, but VERY tight knit community. Not keeping in contact creates confusion and doubt, which will always be made public on a forum. By not taking the 5 minutes to respond to them, you may have cost yourself many other customers. This may or may not matter to you, but if you're in business I would think you would want satisfied customers. I've been ripped oof a few times from people I've done business with on here. I simply will not do business with someone questionable again. Too bad, I had things I wanted you to do for me.

Update: Ron (tvhydrodip) has PM'd me with a tracking number for the shipment of my parts. He again apologized and offered some monetary rebate since it's taken so long. I told him the return of my parts in good shape was adequate. I'll keep everyone updated.

Glad to hear your stuff is on its way. Make sure you post some pics for us. Ron not really sure what happened to make this take so long but are you still going to dip parts? I am sure plenty of folks are a bit sceptical now about sending their stuff out. I would be too if I had waited that long for my parts. If these can't be turned around rather quickly you will loose the forums business. I know when we talked you were excited to perform this service for the forum and I was sure you would get a ton of business which you would have if not for the long delay on parts. I did discuss with you that this forum is always looking for a new service at a good price but it does have to be speedy service as well. This spring I have a couple of things I would like done to match the other parts you did for me if your still doing this. I live close enough to you that it doesn't bother me to drive the hour or so to your place to get them done. What happened to the website? Have you quit doing this?

i also have had an email from tvhydrodip with a tracking no# and offer of rebate for the trouble we've had. will wait for arrival ( have not had mail delivery all week- snow and ice). if product is good i'll have to think long and hard about sending more pieces which is what i had planned on doing.

Donnie now that i am all set up at the building i will still be doing this process. My site has been back up for a couple weeks now. It was shut down because it exceeded the bandwidth. Which means to many people went to it at one time. Parts will be done in the time that I said they would be done in now.

OK, MY PARTS FINALLY ARRIVED! I must say they are very sharp. Ron, you did a very nice job and I love the parts - it just took so stinkin long. I really hope you have the intention to continue to do this and somehow convince members that you can be prompt and reliable. I would think most Fiero owners would want to get one part or another dipped and could find a pattern they liked. I'm taking some pics and will try to get them posted tomorrow.
Old one, I hope yours have also arrived and you are happy with them.

I have to step in here and make a statement about Ron. I sent Ron a bunch of parts a long time ago with explicit instructions on what I wanted done. I even bought a special film pattern on my own and it was expensive to say the least. I told Ron from day 1 that I was in no hurry and expected nothing less than perfection. I even paid a fair sum of money for some of the parts I sent him. I check in with Ron from time to time (maybe twice a month) and he always answers the phone or returns my calls within a half hour.
Ron fell into some circumstances that were out of his control. Ron is now set up in a workable shop location and I believe he will be able to have a prompt turn around time.
I have spent probably 15-20 hours on the phone with Ron over the past 3 months and I believe he is a stand up guy and is truely sorry for the delay in getting people their parts.
I am a vendor here also and I have a strong standing reputation as a vendor. I know scammers when I see them and I honestly dont believe Ron is here to scam anyone. I also feel that his communication here on the forum has left something to be desired and I discussed it with him. He agrees that he could have been a bit more cummunicative and is also sorry for that.
I am personally asking that everyone be a little forgiving and give him another chance to show he can put out a quality product in a timely manner.
woodrow i still haven't received my parts, i guess georgia being closer to indiana then texas has no bearing on shipments. hope mine are as nice as yours.
Perhaps Mr. hydrodip will get on here and explain how long turn around will be now. If he doesn't have internet except on his phone he had better find a way to get it. I was going to get some parts done but I can not have my car sitting waiting for months. I was hoping 2 weeks MAX.
