Sorry guys. I've taken a few pics of the parts lying on the floor of my den but have been so busy wirh work during daylight hours that I haven't taken any after they were installed. I'll try my best to get those this afternoon.

OK you guys, I have my pics taken but when I try to post them, the PIP screen says they exceed the width and pixel limit and won't let me post them. How do I get around that or make the pics postable within the PIP limits? This my first attempt at posting pics and could use some help. Thanks.

Do a Google search for a program called Fotosizer. It is a free app that very simply takes a photo and changes to the size and quality you ask for. Takes only seconds.

I just emailed the pics of my dipped parts to JimmyS for posting. Any questions about the pics, let me know. Thanks garage monster for the tip on Fototsizer. I'll probably download and mess around with it. Thanks again JimmyS for your time in getting these up.
Very nice. Make a huge difference in the looks. I especially like the breather in red! Let us know how well this process holds up under heat conditions because I had a couple things I would like dipped in the ngine bay area.

The compliments are appreciated. The parts were refinished nicely but my warped surround pieces look like crap! If anyone has any surrounds in better shape or knows of anynone that has some available please let me know - real nice ones i realize are getting harder to find. donnie, I share your curiosity on the heat compatability of the red plastic intake piece. I'll keep you posted. Now that I have the parts back and installed, I'll probably trust Ron to do a few more pieces, despite the inordinate amount of time it took for these. He seems to be a good guy and if he says the difficuties are corrected, I'll probably give it a shot - after all, I think the results are worth it.

Go to the dollar Tree and pick up a couple of BOTTLES of super glue. Then squirt liberally into a couple of inches of void and hold together until the glue sets( 15-60 seconds). Then repeat. It won't be perfect, but for $2.00, you should be quite happy! Of course, you'll want to remove the trim pieces first.

old one- the bezels were finished in pattern carbon fiber #3. On the web site looking at the the row of carbon fiber #'s 1-5, you can see the #'s don't align with the pattern so it's a little confusing. ie: #3 looks like it's marked #4.

You don't need to. This is the glue that I have been using for the last 10 years to restore Fiero interiors. The consloe below is the after restore picture. It was worst than yours. This stuff is the best. No need for clips or anything. Put it, hold it 5 seconds and move on. Trust me on this one.

Thanks Alex forr the tip. I've tried other glues on other pieces that just simply didn't work. I've never seen this stuff, Max 1. Where did you get it? I'll pick some up and give it a go.

I usually get it at boat shows here. But they sell it at their web site too: http://www.mabrisystems.com You want the MAX 1. They have a $20 bottle and a $40 bottle. The bigger one is more cost effective. Trust me, it is totally worth every single penny.

10-4. Between yours and deezil's info, I 'm sure I can track a bottle down.
old one - The #3 carbon fiber ended up being a bit darker than I thought it would now that's it's installed but I like the darker carbon look with the black surrounds. .........waiting to see your pics.

Never ever ever trust monitor color to real sight color. Everyones monitor color is different and if you rely on what you see on your monitor, you will be disappointed in person.

Jimmy, you're absolutely right. Monitor colors vary and especially with carbon fiber patterns, lighting really seems to effect the appearance. In bright sunlight my pattern #3 looks pretty much as it does on the web site. In lower light situations it looks somewhat different. If you must have a certain look for a particular application (show car or something) you shoud see the color/pattern in person to verify it's exactly what you want. For clarification, the statement about my parts being a bit darker than what I thought they'd be certainly wasn't a complaint, just an observation. My parts ended up being exactly what I wanted.

you're right donnie i think he would get quite a few orders for dot matrix if the intial one turns out nice. i know at least one person looking for a set right now. and i have noticed 2 or 3 members looking for them. if first run looks good, he could probably make up a good run and do them all at same time. i wonder how you make up a pattern, maybe scan a real one?

One of the companies that I work with orders a sample book from our supplier. It had some of the dotted prints in i. The dots were either to big or small but to far spread apart. It takes a lot for a pattern to be produced and about $1000. I am still in search for the right pattern. I may be able to have them tweak one of the current patterns for me.

I so need my center console cover on my Lamborghini Diablo Roadster done!!! I spent 2 hours last night trying to put on some of that Ebay fake carbon fiber stuff on. In the end it came out O.K..... But it doesnt match the glossy finish of the rest of the real carbon fiber in the car. The cover is about 13"x13" how much would that cost and what is your turn around time right now?? Thanks!
