Wow those 60mm low beam projectors are very impressive. I was hoping they would have that very sharp cutoff like they do. I have a 06 Yamaha R1 and it uses the low beam projectors that have the same very sharp cutoff. In the pictures its hard to tell which is better on the highs but i love the look of the dual projectors. I look foreward to the better high beam comparison. Thank you for the excellent pictures also. A + to you. Thanks Daniel

Same pics cropped with higher resolution

90mm

60mm

I shot these with my coolpix and could not control exposure.
I'll borrow a slr and produce better brightness comparison shots

Thanks gentleman.
The difference between the low 60mm and 90mm is clear.
I am curious if anyone prefers a softer cut-off.

I found the pictures I shot of the high beams diffcult to compare.
I can see the difference with the naked eye clearly.
A bunch of people are asking my opinion whether they should go with the freeform reflector 90mm or 60mm projector high beams.
Right now I just can't say.
Pattern is important, but so is the actual brightness.
I need to shoot an entire bracketed spread of comparison shots.
Anyone running HIR?

I gave the old ford an upgrade.

I don't intend to take this out on the highway and I was thinking of pulling the cut-off shields out of the low beams.
No one on the ranch to write me a ticket.
The glare might piss off the cows though......

Lets say I order a set of your 60/60 for $227.70 and they arrived at my doorstep, Now, will I be able to walk out to my car and install these? Do I just unplug the harness, remove the old buckets and lights complete and then install your new lights buckets and plug in the harness or will I need something else or more work on the install

In short no, but yes, of course!

I hand build complete plug and play kits.
I prefer to sell my buckets "loaded" with projector modules,
but sometimes my customers already have traditional Hella 90mm lights
and must install them in their new buckets.
Good news is that I have done away with the Phillips head adjusters that Hella provides.
Included in the bucket price are stainless alan head adjusters with springs and keepers.
I make a "Y" adapter harness that attaches directly to the bucket
so the complete assembly installation is a snap.
If you need to run FTL (full time low beam) with my quad Hella set-up,
you will need a dual relay harness, which is more involved.

I only use Hella modules for several reasons.
They have sealed weather resistant housings to protect the internals.
They are full DOT 108 compliant and are clearly marked.
The German optics are excellent and construction quality is top notch.
All this comes at an elevated cost, which unfortunately, you have not factored in.

I had someone time me swapping a stock bucket out with my new set-up.
With tools laid out, I did it in under 3 minutes per side.
The reality is that it will take you longer to aim them

My ProjectorRetrofit Headlamp buckets are 100% satisfaction guaranteed for life.
I have a sales thread in the Mall and more information on my website

Let's try this again, Exactly what would be the complete price of this kit to arrived on my doorstep and for me to walk out to the car raise the hood unplug the electric plug, unscrew or unbolt 2 or four screws or bolt and remove the light and /or bucket.Install, put new lights and buckets screw or bolt the 2 or 4 screws or bolts plug in the new electric plug. Close the hood and be ready to book on down the road. Is this pretty close to being correct. BTW do you happen to have pic's of the complete set that we are talking about
