The bump-kit will work with the stock lower arms....it just replaced the original rear lateral toe-link.

Bah I can't decide on if I should buy the control arms or not!

I have new Rodney ball joints and poly for my stock arms. I'd have to get rid of that, and the inner+ outer tie rod ends since the bump steer links will replace that.

Probably the last chance you will have to get that bumpsteer kit...RCC is no longer in business. Note that the price he said he paid for those was without the new outer tie rod ends....so that is a hell of a deal for someone.

The bumpsteer kit is spoken for , thats definitely getting installed on my Fiero- and he says its an RCC style kit, so I'm assuming someone else made it? Either way I'm taking it. I'm just going back and forth over getting the control arms too.

Yes, the bumpt-steer kit is spoken for. The kit was made by someone(?) on here....can't remember who......but I do believe they were built better than the RCC's with greasable spherical ends and a solid, gun-drilled steel extension block with a larger bolt.

BTW, it appears that the lower control arms are still available. However, if nitrohead changes his mind before they are sold to someone else, he has first shot.

It looks like the rear tubular lower control arms are still for sale.

I wish I had the moola for the arms.

But on a side note someone should start to reproduce those bumpsteer kits. They look pretty simple to make. I mean they look like a rodney part to me.

I do believe the hardest part would be the gun-drilling of the steel block for the thru-bolt and "making"/ getting the proper length steel rod to connect the heim-joint to the tie-rod end. I should have measured all of this stuff before I packaged them up.......got shipped out today.

Any "reasonable" offers for the control arms?

BTW, I will have more stuff related to an '84-87 rear suspension available....like poly cradle mounts, brand new GM parking brake cables, rear Lebaron brake-upgrade brackets, rear knuckles, rear calipers, etc.

BTW I remember the gentleman from RCC stating that the kit I had was "similar" to his but sounded even a little bit better design.

Those are actually from my other thread, but I do believe I do. I have all three brake cables (a set). A very long one that I do believe goes from the handle to the equalizer and then the two short ones that go from the equalizer to the calipers. They are all brand new from GM.

Out of curiosity I wonder what bushings those arms use (if they ever needed to be replaced). They definitely aren't Fiero style replacements for the stock arms, I bent a rear control arm a little but during my poly install and straightened it- but its been bugging me and since these have been for sale for a while, one can only wonder

Not really sure why they would ever need to be replaced, but they appear to be normal 3-piece poly bushings. I'm sure they could be matched via one of the poly manufacturers tech lines if ever necessary.. I do believe that these are still out here for sale is due to the price, but I will not give them away....I can't afford the loss as I am sure alot cannot afford the price due to the current economy and other more important expenditures. I'll just keep trying. I will consider selling them for $250.00, but then shipping will NOT be included.....maybe split the cost?
