I hate to say it but this has happened a few to many times. I dont understand why he disapears and gets flak for it, apoligizes and everyone forgives him then he repeats it all over again.
From Page 6 of this thread:
Do a search on his name and you will see this is nothing new. I cant figure why people keep buying from him when this is normal behavior for Andrew so you either have to except it or stop trusting him. Sorry but this is the truth and the past few years of him doing this exact thing is his fault not mine for mentioning it. Someone always gets bashed over telling him he is wrong for doing business this way and he apologizes then folks start buying from him only to go full circle again and again. This actually happens a few times a year with him and is sad.
--------------------------------------------------------------------- - - It appears to me that the forgiving is already being done. WOW. In my opinion one simple post from him stating an almost identical excuse that he has used before is not something to get all excited about. HOw long before he posts again with an update or an excuse? How long before we ALL actually get our badges?
Andrew - you want me to shut up about how I still believe you are a Coward, a Liar, and a Thief then SEND ME MY BADGES and I promise you will NEVER hear from me again. It's a shame too, I have a lot of clients that could use your talents for products, but there is no way I can even think about recommending you.

Hey, I told ya I dont believe what he said, and I agree that we need our badges sometime this year. There is no excuse, wait - let me repeat that - THERE IS NO EXCUSE for what hes done. Absolutely not a single one. Some people here just need to grow a pair, thats all.

Sometime this YEAR? You are much nicer than I am. I pad (like others) in mid-November. I think that 12 weeks is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than enough time to have received them I expect mine in 2 weeks.
But I will bet you $$$ right now that he disappears again (at least for a while) and doesn't communicate again.

I agree with you guys... Don't take the cash if you Don't have the goods. We all have problems but business must go on.. or don't do business.... I hope he sticks around and makes good on the deals in a quick fashion... Vince

Did Andrew post it..or a family member? Is Andrew 'indisposed...'....and somebody else is running things for him on the eBay side of things? And just took his old reply from last year, altered it a bit, and posted it here pro temp??? I donīt get it....why reply once, and then go away again? Why not say " I wonīt post again until the badges are ready, but I promise I am doing them NOW..".... Andrew, if you ARE reading this..how many are ready to ship? How many do you have which need finishing? WHO are you going to send to first?? YOU MUST HAVE A PLAN; YOU MUST STICK TO IT, AFTER TELLING EVERYBODY WHAT THAT PLAN IS. Who is prepared to accept their badge(s) unpolished? At least we can get THOSE out the way to start wth, then the horizon will seem a little clearer. A little less to cope with.Come on Andrew, if it IS you..the keyboard canīt bite you, or shout at you, or even hurt you...just make your plan, post it, and stick to it. Nick

It sounds like Andrew. Same looooooong winded story about how hard it is to be him. Not Answering the people that will take their badges unfinished. But taking time to address someone ELSE that may want to make badges "reliably". If he were a good guy he'd make an agreement to have someone make his excellent ideas available to the forum and take a percentage of each items sold as a "Royalty" fee for his creativity.
But NO..........that might actually WORK!

I have to ask you guys and I dont mean to sound like an ash. What is creative about taking the Trademarked Emblem and taking the shield away from it?? I dont get it. He is not whiddeling away on a pop can in his garage. He sent the GM Trademarked design to a cnc shop and waalaay. Where does doing this already ilegal act give him the rights to royalties? I dont see him sending royalties to GM for there design. Am I missing something? Thanks, Chris

Well, I'm not certain that he's got a problem with the GM Trademark. If he does the very strong legal staff will have a field day with him if they so choose. To me the REAL issue is that he came up with an item for sale here that was a bit different and clearly a popular item here on this forum. I suggested weeks ago that it would be good if someone ELSE would make these things reliably and offered them for sale here. Andrew did come up with the item even if it is just a variant of the Fiero logo. Someone could make one very similar but different and probably do very well selling them here. I was just suggesting that if someone "produced" Andews' part they could cut him in a small percentage for his idea. But for that to happen Andrew would have to work with someone, and THAT is something he seems unwilling to do.
Actually NONE of this would be an issue if Andrew had done what he said he was going to do......

Here is the way I see it. I suggested that whoever wanted to re-produce this badge, ask Andrew for his blessing strictly out of courtesy. If someone went ahead and did it without his blessing, I don't think there is anything Andrew can do about it. You don't need his blessing or his permission. He did'nt design this badge. He just used the already existing pegasus design. I hate to say this but... Andrew, where do you get off copping an attitude about someone using "your" idea? This is not your design! After everything you have put these people thru I don't feel you have the right to cop an attitude with anyone.

This is injection-moulded high gloss chrome finish..self adhesive..and costs just $7!! And it looks very much like Pegasus head ...now, if I can find the Company that made them (I bought the two I have in Holland last year), then maybe they will make a run of say 1000 Fiero emblems for the same price Who knows? I am now going to locate the manufacturer (bet it is in China ) Nick

I've had a couple people contact me about sending them the CAD files for what I've spent a lot of time putting together so they can make these things. THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN.

Is this pegasus design even his?
You cannot place claim on a design if you just modified it from what someone else has done. The Pegasus design is GM's and badges???...Who knows who invented badges....hehe
Cmon Andrew you do nice work, and have some great imagination and creativity, but your work ethic and practice suck.
I still think that with the QUALITY of work you do, you could still conduct some business here. The way you handle your product output needs to be overhauled and if you could come up with a way that would insure people they would get your product, many would still buy from you again. Get a product broker or something. Someone to sell your products when they are ready to sell. Sure you will make less per item, but in the long run, you will make alot more because people will be confident that they will get what they pay for.
And just remember, as far as doing business goes, nobody cares about your personal life when their money is on the line.
As far as personal feelings go, I hope everything works out for you, and you get the help that you desire and require to get things straightened out.

sitting, waiting, wishing....... You can really send the badges i paid for anytime now...........Austin
Andrew, I really canīt believe that you are reading these posts?? Vendetta has been so polite...it is enough to make a Saint curse..come on..SEND THEM OUT NOW! For God's sake..just picture it is your DAUGHTER who is holding her hand out for something she has payed for..something she values so much, it hurts her to be treated like this....would you let somebody do this to HER? Or would your blood boil and you would pay a visit to the person holding out on her? You say you love her and your wife...you wouldnīt do this to them now, would you???? To write an answer a while ago, and then just disappear again is so sadistic, I canīt believe it of you. Nick
