If I receive mine I will gladly leave him alone and he can be on the forum all he wants.
BUT if he sells anything again, I will be one of the first to point out this fiasco.
I REALLY hope we all get our stuff. At least then I can get on with my life ------------------------------------------- EDIT TO ADD: I just checked and I have received no email. Not really gonna hold my breath either. I have been one of the hardest on him so I really don't expect him to honor his deal with me.
Hope I am wrong.

I just got another e-mail from Andrew. I believe he is going to do what Nick (fierofetish) said he would do. So right now I am going to lay off of him. By the sounds of it he has finished and starting to send them out, he is also giving us something for waiting, like Nick said he would do. I would like to see Andrew back on the forum posting again, he was a contribution to the forum when he was posting on here and I think some of the things he posted were interesting. I believe he is going to give everyone their badges and something extra. I hope that when everyone gets the badges they will forgive him for this and not hold it against him if he does decide to come back to the forum.
Please don't flame me for believing in someone and forgiving.

Yeah well, seeing is believing. Dont get your hopes up, how many times has he lied so far?
Come to think of it, this would be a complicated case for the PD, because so many people in different states are involved, but.... you very well, and much more easily could file a lawsuit in small claims court as a whole. That is where you would get you results. Hopefully hell make things right, but unfortunately most of this stuff turns Civil, not criminal. Even though there are some violations. Any way good luck guys.

I think this would be more of a Fed case but its such a small amount of money they most likely don"t have the time to deal with it.. On another note... yes all could file a suit but he would need to be served and we can't find him to serve him.... if we find him we could all just get our parts ourselves and be done with if... To anyone who lives near Andrew: Check to see if any of the local newspapers or TV stations do investigations of shady businesses. Call them and explain everything. This often works when going to the police doesn't.

And here I was just getting a bright idea.... if everyone were to theoretically "assign" their debt interest to a trustworthy member in a legal way, that person could have applied a debtors lein to that mercury, then go to the county sheriff to have it seized for sale to satisfy the debt. Entirely legal, maybe a 6 week process but compared to how many months this has taken..... Just a thought.
Maybe he'll come through for you guys though and not require such an action

with all the pissed off people here, I would be afraid someone would trash it if I was him.
I hope nobody would hurt his car. It's a shame to damage someones car as it did nothing to us.. Kinda like taking it out on his family. If I was him I would be worried about getting my a$$ kicked. I'm the type to take legal action or just blow it off but I know a lot of people that woud fly over there and deal with it in person. Spend a grand to get back $60 crazy but true
Sad that just a few short days ago,Andrew had managed to still have the trust of a few on the board here. I would like to think at some point, that everyone is on the same page and realise just who and what they are dealing with here. My guess is he sent out a few "Woe is me" emails to people here to pacify them, because he knows the heat is really getting turned up... Now I would guess at this point he is completely painted himself into a corner....
Good luck to everyone that has been taken. I hope somehow everyone gets what they paid for,or their money back.

Did anyone happen to mail a check or money order to him? If so, the postmaster will go after him for mail fraud.
Just a thought.
The postmaster won't go after him...it would be the Postal Inspectors. To be honest, they won't go after him, either. Not to belittle anyone's losses here, but the total loss...everyone's loss combined...isn't enough for the Inspectors to even bother with him. We had a similar problem a few years ago with a forum member who ripped off several people. The Inspection Service was contacted, and complaints filed...but just about everyone that filed was told that for the amount lost, it was too little for them to deal with. They have so many fraud cases filed each year, they can only go after so many...and so they go after the high dollar ones.

I have signed up..waiting for approval. I am going to buy a Cougar!!
Being new to the classic Cougar game, and after reading a post by another member regarding the reputation of a potential vendor, I thought that having a list of vendors available wound make it easier for people like me who are looking for proven resources.
Some of the vendors may be obvious to some of you who have had years of experience dealing with more popular vendors, but to those of us that don't have that experience will find this a real time saver (and possibly a real money saver!)
If we could write something up in a format like this, I figure it would make it easier to read through the comments. I really hope this takes off.
I'll start...
My humiliation is complete. Andrew, you are a first-class arsewhole.....

So he has apparently moved on to another place where he can steal from people. Part of me says to become a member of that other forum and warn them....another part says I Just don't give a sh!t anymore.
If he were close by me this would be over (must be the Native Texan in me), but as much as I would love to kick a Yankee's a$$ I just can't justify the cost of a round-trip plane ticket.
MAYBE the liar, thief, sh!t head, will have the audacity to show up to the 25th. THEN maybe this would all get taken care of.....
yeah - right....this guy won't show his face around anything that might even have the remotest possibility of someone from here attending.

Good Vendor-Bad Vendor Cougar Parts and Services Thread..............................
I just signed up as well - waiting for approval. If you would like to respond in his thread above, I will be doing the same. You may also want to start a new thread in the "Community" section, making sure everyone and their mother knows about this ******* , that would be great too.
I've been watching this thread from the get-go because those neat looking badges caught my eye but I never ordered and I'm glad that I didn't. That crap he's pulling especially with the other forum being nice and active is a load of bullsh*t. I say nail him with all you got!!!!!

I'll bet he's VERY AFRAID to leave his new toy outside............knowing how mad people are about him cheating them...... I wonder if his wife knows the real story???????

Has anyone called her and asked her if she knows / understands what her husband has done? The last I remember reading she will answer the phone but say that the Thief is not around. We should speak straight to her maybe.
The sad thing about it is he would be making more money in the long run if he would have kept up with his orders. I would have purchased 3 badges from him without blinking if he hadn't proved himself an unreliable vendor. I was really close to giving him a second chance but it just didn't feel right.
