Great. You guys just threw my badges out the ****ing window?
Thanks, I appreciate that.
Maybe Andrew and Cliff will work it out. If they don't Don't worry to much. There are people that lost a lot of dough on the Sail panels this isn't so much. Besides there are several people saying they can make them.
I have worked with people like Andrew before. Artistic is a byproduct of his issues and it aint always easy to deal with them. They lash out, withdrawl, redirect, bounce from one thing to another and generally beat themselves up more than anyone else can. They will usaully in time calm down and do what is right but not if they are attacked. A life of problems has made these people ultra defensive.

It really doesn't matter if he is a member here or not he still owes people the goods.... he has the money... and he should have all the info where to send them..... So if he is a man he will send the badges out. He needs to follow through on is word as one day he may make the mistake of bending over the wrong person and that would be the end of dear Andrew. We have only one thing in this world and that is our "WORD".

There is no excuse for not delivering what was fully paid for, he knows that, and so does everyone else.
With that being said, what you are doing isnt helping. An unstable person such as Andrew needs some kind of acceptance when rectifying himself, otherwise they will react by lashing out. Now I agree that his "terms" are unreasonable, but you know what, thats something that doesnt need to be said right now. I believe they should be sent out as payment received, but so long as we get them, thats all that matters.
Let us know when the first batch goes out Andrew, and keep us updated.

He doesn't need to work it out with me. I'm not one of the people he took money from. I don't give a rat's ass if he hates my guts. He took money from people and didn't deliver and didn't answer any inquiries either. He played dead while happily selling stuff on eBay. That isn't "having problems". That's "ripping people off". People made a fuzz about it which I'm sure is the only reason he eventually chose to come back here. And then he has the guts to get mad at the people he ripped off because they made a fuzz about it? Give me a break. Give me a frickin' break.

Wow. First you are on my case because I never banned Andrew. Then you are on my case because you wanted me to ban him after he ripped you off. Didn't you say:
quote
I was just trying to get him out of here, to protect others. I certainly didnt blame you for anything, but you do run the show here, and refuse to do anything. His behavor is unexceptable, and quite frankly, ridiculous. Rating system or not, he doesnt belong here. I cant tell you what to do, I can only tell you what is right.
And my answer:
quote
So you are saying I should ban him, taking away every chance people might have of receiving their stuff or money back? Yeah, that's a really good idea.
And now that I do say something about it, you suddenly turn around 180 degrees and I'm "not helping"? So what, should I do what you said and ban him instead? Or just because all of a sudden there's a small chance you get your badge, right is wrong and wrong is right?

When Andrew disappeared, your damn right I thought he stole my money. Your damn right that I was pissed that this happened to me (still am). Your damn right I thought this could have been avoided if he were banned for doing this before.
But guess what, he came back. It took alot a bitching, name calling and humiliation, but he is back. You dont realize the efforts some members here have done in order to do that. While those efforts should NOT have been needed, they obviously were. Now by you basically telling him to leave, shoves all that effort back into thier faces. Its like trying to get a squirrel to come to you - you finally lure him in, then someone sneezes, and hes out.
I agree with your logic 100% Cliff, but sometimes its better to not say anything, know what I mean?

No I don't. But hey, considering the crap I'm getting about this through mail and email, I guess that's a cultural difference between you (plural) and me. Apparently you don't have any principals and are willing to put on a smiley face just so you get your badge - not caring that he explicitly said he will NOT send them to the people who actually made him come back here in the first place.
I'll swallow my pride and not butt in anymore. So Andrew if you are reading this: I was so wrong to judge you and to tell you you are no longer welcome. You are very welcome here. You are not an immature prick, it's really me who is an immature prick because how dare I say something about this? I offer you my sincere apologies.
To the others: I hope you get your stinking badge and I hope the thing is worth throwing away your principals. But on a personal note: you make me want to throw up because you are willing to take his crap just for your own benefit. Because once you got your badge, were you going to help those who did not get it because Andrew thought they were too noisy here? Right. I didn't think so either.
(If you still have something to say to me about this thread, do it through PM because I will not be participating in this thread anymore)

Im sorry, if me having to do what I have to do in order to get my stuff seems wrong to you, then you are right. We think differently.
I would rather try any means possible to get my stuff, than to flush my money down the toilet. I never read where he said he wont send out to the badges to the haters, but rather they would be moved to the back of the line - and thats where we agree Cliff - that isnt right.
This whole thing has even got us fighting with each other, ridiculous.
Andrew, would you just send out the badges?

Just a heads up, emblems will be shipped out starting Monday, in order of those that are owed them and who posted in this thread the least.
Are you serious. I did not buy the badges and I have never posted in this thread. Just watched. WTF. If you took it like a bit.ch and did not complain about getting ripped off then you get your badges faster than those who are the ONLY reason why he came back to begin with.
I have a suspicion that the real reason he came back was because of the Cougar Forum. He needs help with and wants to belong the the Cougar community but he cannot just go on his jolly way now that his "problems" are back. He just wants to go back to the Cougar Forum and say "hey look guys I made it all better, let me play with you again."
They (the people you ripped off) don't want to hear your stories of "why". You have been buying new **** on ebay but cannot refund any money to people who you ripped off?.. Common.
I'm out.

Just a heads up, emblems will be shipped out starting Monday, in order of those that are owed them and who posted in this thread the least. Part of this has to do with the phone calls I've gotten in the middle of the night, partly because of the posts made on the other forum, and partly due to the comments posted here--- but mostly for the middle of the night hangup calls and comments posted outside this forum. Yeah, I'm a real sumabitch...
I would have hoped you would ship out the emblems solely because you said you would and took payment in good faith.
You're lashing out at the wrong people, Andrew. You're angry with yourself and unwilling or unable to face that, so you lash out at anyone who point out your behavior. I'm glad you're feeling better. S.A.D. can really do a number on people, and depression is difficult to live with even in the best of times. But you have to be honest with yourself.
I hope you go ahead and fullfill all of your orders in a timely fashion. You gave your word. That's the only reason that matters. Fill all the back orders and put this whole episode behind you. Learn from this experience. If you know you're susceptible to S.A.D., then don't take on any big projects in the Winter. Do smaller things that can be started and finished more easily, so if you decide to stop you can.
We have argued in the past, and we are not friends, but I do have some small understanding of where you're coming from. Know that I mean this when I say I wish you the best of luck in the future.

You got my vote... All this just makes me a little more shy of new business dealings. I try to cover myself the best I can and this time I came out good. But for all those who didn't.... Well, if I would not have come out so good I would never pretend all is ok just to get my badges, Sure I would be out a few bucks but the fact is fact. Now I may or may not buy from Andrew in the future but I would very careful to cover myself. But I just couldn't make all the drama history go away.
Andrew you can't take peoples money and then play god with it. You don't have any right to be upset with anyone trying to get money or product back from you.. You owe it to them... When all is over and you have paid your debt with everyone some will trust you and some will not. Some will do business with you and some will not. I'm not trying to judge you as we all have our own problems but life still must go on...
I always remember these two statements in the business world...
"You can sheer a sheep many times but you can only skin it once"
and
"Screw me once shame on you, Screw me twice shame on me"

I hope you're not talking about us now, are you? Because if you are, I can distinctly remember you were the one making the most noise about this, even going as far as blaming me for not banning F-I-E-R-O and giving him the opportunity to rip people off a second time. If you are willing to suddenly score brownie points with him now just for a badge, be my guest.

Im sick of hearing chit about how I go about doing my business, and my business is to get mine, and everyone elses badges. If it wasnt for myself and a few others here, who knows where we would still be with all this.
I'll have you know that a few people have actually PM'ed me, just to agree with what I have said and how things are being (or shouldnt be) done, but they dont want to say anything here in fear of getting red marks. I dont blame them.
Please, just let this go for a few days and see what happens, have just a little faith in what were doing. Its a like a game, a complicated game, and obviously you do not know how to play.

Hi, Rich Truesdell here. My partner in Automotive Traveler, Bill Basore (the Cougar guy), posted here a few days ago and it looks like Andrew the badge guy is the same person who bid on my IRM Fiero. Bill explained pretty much what happened except for one thing, and it relates peripherally to what went on here. When I was unsuccessful in my bid, I immediately called the seller and told him that if his deal fell through, I would step in and match the price. Apparently the seller waited three days for contact or a deposit and when none was forthcoming, he called me and asked me if I was still interested. I said yes and FedEx-ed a check which sealed the deal. Bob didn't back out of the sale, the original buyer didn't meet the terms of the auction. It's that simple.
The drive cross country was for the most part, uneventful, except the first night with the car. I needed to drive it back up to New Jersey and it had no plates on it. I had a properly executed Bill of Sale, the title, and insurance so I thought I was set. I stopped in a Circuit City to buy some CDs for the trip back (Bob had installed a factory-fit Delco AM/FM/CD from a later model Pontiac) and when I came out there were two police cars surrounding my car. I showed the officers the paperwork, they called in the VIN, confirmed it wasn't reported stolen and let me go. Not 10 minutes later I was pulled over and this time it got ugly because I didn't immediately pull over (which would have been dangerous on a multi-lane highway); I put on my flashers and slowly and safely pulled over. The flood lights came on and the cop approached the car with his gun drawn. The conversation was one-sided and words like arrest and impound were mentioned. I will admit, the gun part was a bit scary. My hands didn't leave the top of the steering wheel until he asked me for the paperwork. The cop was, to put it mildly, something of a jerk.
Ever the diplomat, I managed to ratchet down the situation and after speaking with his supervisor on my mobile, was allowed to drive the car about three blocks to a friend’s house. There I decided, since there were a set of plates in the trunk - dating back to 1989 - I simply put a plate on the rear and my friend drove closely behind me until I got out of town and on I-95. I got back to New Jersey at 3 AM. By the way, the CDs played well.
The 4-page chronicle of the journey cross-country was published this past November in Pontiac Enthusiast. Some of you may have seen it. I don't currently drive the car and I am trying to decide whether to reinstall the turbo, which Bob had removed. The car runs well, after I installed the proper ECU (while the car was titled in MD as an '85, it was actually an '84, and the ECU for the '84 is different than the one for an '85 Iron Duke) so now the "CHECK ENGINE" light is no longer illuminated.
When I have time I will recycle the Pontiac Enthusiast feature for the web and post it in my "rear view mirror" blog on automotivetraveler.com. I did post some Fiero content for my cardomain.com blog which generated some comment as I had the temerity to say that having just tested a Sky Redline, I didn't see 20 years of progress over the last Fiero. That stirred up something of a hornet's nest. If you want to view the blog, and add comments, it can be viewed at:
I certainly won't be unhappy if that blog gets relit.
Over on automotivetraveler.com I've started a series on great $3,000 cars for the era of $4.00/gallon gas and you guessed it, the first car selected was last-year, 4-cylinder Fieros. I wouldn't mind if some of you guys took a look at posted your comments and suggestions as many of you know more about Fieros than I do, even having owned five myself. Here's a link to the Fiero buyer's guide:
Next in the series will be the 1982 to 1993 Mercedes C-Class. I was actually working on that when Bill called me to alert me about this thread. God, 18 pages long...it will take me all day on Easter to wade through it all.
I have just a limited amount of time to participate here so I'm sorry that I can't post more often. I am interested in getting information on two Fiero subjects, IRM Fieros, and any information, especially from any GM insiders, on the EHPS unit. Again, when I have some time, I will scan all the documents Todd gave me and will offer a CD of what I have. It will be modestly priced, probably $10 including Priority Mail. But scanning takes time, more than writing these posts as Todd gave me many pages of documents. I did make some inquiries at GM but it seems that all of the people who worked on the project are gone or retired.
Hope that some of you will look at the cardomain.com blog and will share your thoughts on my suggestion that a good-running, $2,000 '88 Fiero is a great way to ease pain at the pump.
Best wishes,
Richard Truesdell 1984 IRM Pontiac Fiero 1988 Pontiac Fiero (both 4-cylinder models, love this one as it gets 35 MPG) Editorial Director, Automotive Traveler www.automotivetraveler.com/magazine

Cliff, I do not plan to get involved in all the drama but can you please remove the last couple vulgar pictures from all the posts? While I am not offended by them, there are still younger people on this forum and ladies that really do not need or care to see these kinds of photo's. You represent this forum as a family oriented forum and those do not belong here. Jim
wow - I am gone for a few days and come back and see all of this. Andrew - I really hope that I receive my badges. That is the right thing to do....even if I have posted in this thread a lot. Forgive you? NO WAY!!!!!!!!!! Forget? NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!
This should NEVER have reached the level it did. Drama? Sure - like so many other threads on PFF....but this one started out with a legit idea, continued with legit orders, proceeded to legit complaints.
I will wait and see if I get mine before pursuing what was on my schedule for this week with my attorney to see if I get mine.
THIS WILL NOT GO AWAY ANDREW. You brought this on yourself and I will NOT back down from my complaints about you. This IS your fault.
EDIT TO ADD: Anyone who thinks Andrew wasn't looking for a reason to disappear again is a FOOL. He knew what kind of reception he would get and knew that he would have a reason (in his opinion) to disappear again. His childish tirade reminds me why I only like a few children and can't stand that kind of 4 year old behaviour.

I have recieved my badges today, I had to sign for them, which is a good thing. I would have gotten them sooner (Friday) if I would have gotten out of the bed to answer the door for the mail lady but I didn't feel that good. But here are some picures of them, I know the pictures really suck, but thats the price I pay when I buy a cheap camera. The pictures don't do these any justice, these are exellent quality and craftsmanship.

I know the pictures suck really bad, its the camera not the badges!. I ordered the GT style, so you won't get the exact ones.If you want better pictures, you can buy me a better camara. He polished these up real good, so its hard to get a good picture with out it being completely white, so I had to turn off the flash and put it near sunlight to get the picture I got. Like I said before, these are nice badges, he did an excellent job with them.

This thread is not about Ebay badges. It's about the ones in the thread title, "Billet Pegasus Badges- orders now being taken for a group buy........................". These are the ones we are all waiting for (and as far as I know, no one has received in a long time). They don't look anything like the ones sold on Ebay. If I get mine, I'll take pics and post them.
