That looks great, silver 85 sc. What did you use for material?
I used scrap 16ga stainless steel. Still working on the polishing. I have a guy that says he can do it for $10.00 ea. The laser operator at work made about 10 of them. I told him watch it next time, I had the lead-in in the wrong spot on the right wing. I could crank these out by the thousands not sure I can polish them by the thousands though. I have some polishing stuff of my own and will give it a shot tonight. I'll even start a new thread and let this one die.

I'll confirm if the badge was what i missed tomorrow afternoon. Although i sold my last fiero so i now have no use for the badges i bought...

Very Nice. I like Stainless, looks beautiful when its all polished up. I could see polishing being a pretty time consuming job for these badges because of all the little lines and other parts of the design. Starting a new thread sounds like a great idea, that way this one can die and never to be seen again., that is; after everyone recieves their badges.

If you are looking to polish them easy then just invest in one of these things and dump a few in them overnight and you will have nice shiny ones in the moring. http://cgi.ebay.com/18lb-VI...QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
I have one that I use to polish small parts and clean bolts and things.

Well, I received an email on Monday from Andrew stating that all the badges would be shipped out this week. I haven't received mine yet. ANYONE received their Pegasus badges? Not the other ones....but the ones that this thread is about.
That thread was started when things were still going well. It was only a few weeks after the orders for the Pegasus billets were placed. Someone else bumped that thread up - not Andrew.
I have been one of Andrew's biggest critics and one of the hardest on him for his business practices. But that other badge thread was started by him at a time when things were ok - and it was just bumped up.
Would I order from him again? Well, time will tell. My Pegasus billets are on their way and I have the tracking number. Andrew and I have now emailed each other a number of times and I think that he has learned some very valuable things out of this.
But do I forgive him? Do I forget about all of this? As I have told Andrew...."No" I do not do either of those. But I believe that time may make things better and that maybe something in the future can be done to help put all of this behind all of us.
When I get my badges I will post more of my thoughts....until then, true judgement is still waiting to be decided.

its a negative on the fed ex package. an early wedding gift from a friend... No badges (nevermind that thought)
EDIT TO MAKE A CORRECTION ON MY PART...
I checked the forum before i checked my email (as usual) and there was an email from andrew letting me know that the fed ex package i've ben chasing isnt my badges... although i was kind bummed when i found this out on my own, finding andrew confirming this he did tell me this...
Robert 2, yours was sent out tuesday
centex and troy's have been sent out (no date mentioned). He mentioned there was a problem with a couple that we sent out (not recieved yet) so hes gonna send them registed mail so they don't get picked up or sent to the wrong person... He said that tomorrow and this weekend are free on his schedule, so he'll be working on them...
If you've ordered these and haven't heard from him, the way it sounds he'll be sending you an email when your's is sent out... I'm going by what he's telling me so other than that the most i can do is give you his email (i've recieved 5 or 6 diffrent emails from him in the past 15 minutes, so you'll definately get ahold of him.)
andrew-rogers@stny.rr.com
looks like things are coming around (the contacting him just got easier.)

Received my 3 Pegasus badges today. They are Beautiful. No question about the quality of the product. No question at all. Andrew has hopefully learned a lot from this - and can maybe find a way to continue to provide some nice products to the Fiero community, but he is going to have to do something about his business practices and communication first. If he had only communicated with us through all of this it would not have turned out as bad for him as it has. These badges ARE WORTH the money....and really even the wait. Simple communication would have made all the difference in the world.
Andrew - THANK YOU for sending these. THANK YOU for proving you are NOT a Thief or a Scammer. THANK YOU FOR PROVING ME WRONG!
Now - I have said in the past that I will not / can not forgive and forget this buying episode...and I still will not. I hope that Andrew can understand that. But, with that being said, if there comes a time when he has a new product that I like and he has them READY TO SHIP --- I believe that I will order from him again.
I just recieved this from Andrew in response to my asking about my freebie. I couldn't get the pictures to show up. Maybe they'll show up here. But it sounds like they may be a little graphic. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Absolutely! Here’s something that I sent to Tim Bonner and asked if he would post on the forum but haven’t gotten a response back yet…
Tim,
In the spirit of keeping everyone up to date, here’s where things stand. I’ve been working on the emblems. Rather than doing them one at a time, I’ve been taking groups of the parts and sanding them down to polishing point where they then get buffed to high polish. My daughter yelled for me to come up stairs because there was a fire in her room. A candle that she had on her dresser heated a flower arrangement thing that she had on her dresser and I used my hand to put out what I thought at the time was paper burning. It turned out to be a large glob of plastic, which of course stuck to my hand. Here are the pictures…
I managed to get the plastic off but the hand hurts like heck now which means it’ll be another day or so before I can get back to finishing the current batch of emblems.
Would you do me a favor and post this update on the thread for me? Thank you.
Andrew
OMG! Did that hurt, and got worse after writing that note to Tim!!! I’ve got blisters on the three fingers and my hand is a little stiff but it feels much better today. I don’t want to agitate the blisters today, but will tomorrow. J Poor Emily. She was scared stiff yesterday seeing the flames on top of her dresser. Guess who got to sleep in her room last night? Yep. J If you could post this update, that would be great!
He just sent me the backplate ? Here is a mail i had last week from Andrew
Robert,
I sent your back out yesterday so you should be getting it by Saturday I would think. It was sent in a small box to keep it safe. Cheers, Andrew
I was gonna send it back stipulating that i already had my badge 2 months ago . But what i do with a backplate like that ???? Nothing to do with it since i gave my badge to somebody else .

So people are recieving the badges? I hope to get mine soon. How would one contact Andrew?
email him, give him a few days to reply... Longest its taken him to get back to me is 2 or 3 days. So you'll hear back from him... andrew-rogers@stny.rr.com

Still nothing for most people who ordered? Awwwww COME ON ANDREW! I know that you can make all this right. You already have for some of us....don't ignore the others now that some of us have stopped voicing our opinion in this thread!
I REALLY thought that all would be ok once he started sending them out to many of us.....guess I was wrong again.
I bet those blisters are still healing, and painful, especially with the fingertips missing. The pressure would be directly on them. Give him a chance..I think that still hurts Nick

The blisters may stop him from working. But they could still function well enough to let his customers know whats going on......

PLEASE let me know if I can add your name to the "Received" ones. If you have received yours and not let us know I think that it is only fair to add your name to the list of Received so that Andrew is shown to have sent those that he has sent.
