i am excited for you guys and cant wait to see the results...even though i did not get in on the buy, (as i havent decided to rebody or chop and custom )i feel like i am waiting as well,it kicks ass that you guys have tops so similar in design that you can spread the tooling cost out and get glass ,as someone who has a few chops around for a few years and hassleing with the alternative.. i am excited for you all ,glass for financial reasons are impossible for one off stuff like mine,( at least for the side windows anyway) with my budget . i am happy for you guys and jealous at the same time

i will start a thread when i get my windows. hopefully they will be done soon. from what archie has posted, i would think they will be done in a week or 2. my car isn't an archie chop but it was done similarly to archies chops. the glass may not fit my car as easily as it will an archie chop, but since it will have the proper curves i'm sure i will be able to get it to fit properly without too much trouble

I was on the way to the airport today to pick up a customer, who was coming to drive his LS3 '88 GT home, today & I got a call from the Glass guy.
It seems that they had a problem with the windows.
They have all the right side windows done & they scraped all the left side windows in the last Tempering operation.
This must have happened last week because he tells me that he already has replacements in process & that they are only about 7 to 8 days away from that last operation.
I am going to call him back tomorrow to see if he can snd me a Right side window so we can test fit it.

I talked to the guy last Thursday & he expected that the left side windows were expected to be going into the last process (the one where they scrapped the last group) by the end of this week.
I hope I'll be going to pick them up next week.
