Originally posted by Archie: Ok, I also got word from Rodney Booth that his windows came in good for him today too.
So I've got 5 sets already packed & ready to go.
One set is going out to Dean tomorrow.
Is anyone else ready to get them?

Yes, please ship mine out to me as well.
I initiated on November 6, a PayPal payment to your company's e-mail address, to cover the $65.00 shipping charge for those windows, a payment which hopefully has come through to you by now (but if not, let me know).
I'd forgotten long ago how good a little kid can feel paging through a Christmas catalog in anticipation of receiving something.
Now I remember.

Ok let's see some glass in more chops now that some of you have the glass! No offense but pics of glass in boxes isn't what I want to see. I have less than 3 hours installing both sides in my non Archie chop, yours should go in even easier/faster. Lets see 'em!!!

I test fit mine yesterday and they fit great but I packed them back in the box after that because I have a long way to go with my car before I am ready to install them. I don't want to get them trashed while welding and doing body work, not to mention I need new wipes before I install them. D.

Sorry but I'm in the same position as Dean. I'm still welding and doing bodywork and I don't want to mess them up.

I finally had time to install my windows over the holidays. With the Purple Pavement Eater being a bit different from the rest, it took some work. I did the passenger side first and it was so far off I didn't think the windows were going to work for me. Luckily there is a ship load of adjustment provided by the factory. Nonetheless, I did have to make a few tweaks of my own. Everything came out very good except the driver's window doesn't quite make it all the way up when the door is closed.
One existing issue I had on the passenger side was the rubber seal had sunken near the top. I made a slit in the back of the rubber and stuffed cotton balls into it until it filled out nicely.
Overall I am very pleased!
Edit: It does go all the way up with the door closed when the engine is running.

The glass repairman came by today to install the chop top door glass and to reinstall the sail windows. The shop sent me these pics and said that the installer pointed out the installation went smoothly. I'm glad I waited for the correct side door glass.
One down and two more choppers to go!
