I want one now. I'm giving up. I just don't have time to do it, fix it, fix it again and ...etc... I have a stripped down 3800 harnes and both Fiero connectors with pigtails.
How much and how soon?
*** EDIT *** Also how much and how soon withyou supplying the harnesses?
88 Fiero GT 5 speed. stock 3800SCII from 98 Riviera. PCM mounted behind glove box inside cab. Alternator mounted just below the dogbone area (please leave a little slack in this wire).
The wife's 2.8 is knocking so I have no more time left. I'll be trailering it to the Daytona show unless I can get it going with a 3800 before then.

I'm hoping to get one of these from ya soon. I'll be heading up there for the meet in june so maybe we can talk some more then. I would like to get rob to do an engine swap for me.

I could probably get you one done within a month, I've got several in line and I've bout got another one turned around. I charge $400 for the harness completion and $150 added on for a 3800 harness if i supply it. If you need the PCM tuned, thats $100 added on as well. Essentially, if you need PCM tune and me to supply 3800 harness, lookin at $650 dollars total. Another couple days at the shop and it will be ready for shipping. I could supply a harness but it will be a little longer wait due to having a harness shipped. There are none that I've found in my area. I would need your fiero c500 connector and your c203, z28. Pm me if your interested and we can work out the details.
Spoilt, just let me know, I can get you started as well. I have a couple almost ready to go with their engines and they'll be lookin for harnesses too. Everyone just let me know if or when you're ready. As I said befor, right now you'll be looking at a month minimum.

Very nice and neat work. Is this harness shown for the 3800SC w the later ( 03-up) automatics? The harness on my Series III 3800SC engine/4T65eHD was not easy to rewire as it had the internal trans selector switch and used the EV6 injector connectors. Combine this with the fact that we are running a 2003 PCM/2003 harness and the wiring job ended up being fairly complex. All the EV1 injector connectors had to be removed and replaced (repinned), and with the addition of the SLP LS1 MAF and N* TB this really made the job interesting, as those connectors also had to be changed. We retained the PCM control over the A/C system and added the refrigerent pressure sensor to the high side line. My hat is off to anyone doing custom harneess work as each one presents a different challenge. You might want to consider doing the 4.9L harnesses as well. IMO, they are simpler to do but there is a market for them.

Thanks Dennis, this was a 98 NA harness. I have yet to tackle a series 3 engine as of yet. Ive got a series 3 here at the shop with a series 2 harness and PCM to adapt to it, just havent gotten there yet. Ive done 4 Series 2 SC harnesses to date. Again, thanks for the props and I look forward to getting more in depth with them. I will look into the 4.9, Ive had some people ask if I knew how and I told them I wasnt familiar with it.

I have a 1999 Buick Park Ave Ultra, it has 3800sc, harness and ecu. Is there anything else you would need. The swap is going in a 1987 GT 5speed. If I send you everything what would be the cost??

Or I'll sell you the cradle jack, for $3000.00. That Darrell had no business loaning out while I was in the Hospital after getting hit by that car. And one more thing, Happy Birthday.
