I made payment via PayPal on 9/5 and heard nothing until you responded to a public request for status. Your response said, in essence, Oops, have to have more made. Will ship as soon as possible. No response since. It is now a full 30 days....I want my brakets or a refund immediately. If you have not responded by close of business TODAY, I will file a dispute with PayPal.
Raydar, have YOU heard ANYTHING at all from Lonnie?
Has ANYONE received brackets after August 1?
We KNOW Lonnie is selling (and taking payment) for brackets he does not have....is he EVER delivering them?

I waited a week after you told me they were "shipped". No brackets. Not surprising since there was no tracking number. Especially not surprising, since you told imac about 3 days ago that they still needed to be made. WHAT THE HELL?!
I have opened a dispute with Paypal. Please refund my money immediately!!
Appropriate feedback was left for you in this thread.

I am sorry that i did not have them in stock like I said. I made a mistake and I am not perfect. but I did email you and told you. I personally do not make them. I have a local shop make them. I had these made for the forum and to help people out and now I am the bad guy. I only make like 20$ a set, not really worth my time. order them from some were else and see how fast you get them.
also, I will no longer be selling these brackets, jut not worth the headach.

You certainly didn't email me. I can't speak for imac. Your communications throughout this whole endeavor can only be described as piss poor. The dispute process will go forward. Just make it easy on yourself and refund my money. When (if?) I get the brackets, if it turns out you've been truthful about sending them when you said. I'll send payment again.
I've trusted you and your nearly non-existent communications for a month. If you're for real, you should take a chance and trust me to follow through. I'm not holding my breath. I personally think you're full of sh!t.
BTW... You probably shouldn't worry about making any more of them. One of the other fabricators (who has a stellar rep, BTW) already has them in the works. By screwing us, you've effectively screwed yourself. Which is appropriate.

I did not scew myself it's not like i am making a lot of money on them. I dought this seller your talking about will sell them for that price. I have only sold 7 sets in 10 months hardly worth messing with. I was just doing it to help other out. As the saying goes nice people always lose, Id rather be nice and lose than win and act like you.
You certainly didn't email me. I can't speak for imac.
If you're going to have some by the end of the week, that's cool. Just let me know what's up.
Thanks for the note.
Steve ----- Original Message ----- sorry for the late reply. I thought I had a few sets already made up. But i guss not. So I can ethier give you a refund or I should have a few sets by the end of the week. Sorry for the inconvenience. lonnie (i did not email you, who is the LIER now, Steve)

You did not email me. That was one of the two PMs that you sent after receiving my payment. This in response to many posts and PMs asking for status. I'm quite sure you saw (and apparently ignored) these posts and messages, since you were asking for technical help with your 3800 during the same time frame.
As I said before, it's quite strange that you only told me they were "shipped" after I demanded a refund. Even after that, you told imac that they hadn't been made yet. Of course, a week later, I still don't have them. Big surprise.
So... Who is the liar here?

That IM was sent on 9/18. I waited another two weeks ("end of the week"?!) until 10/1 before I asked you to refund my money. I gave you plenty of time to fulfill your promises.
It's now 10/8, and I have neither a refund or my brackets. Who's bullshittin' who, here?
For the record, I don't give too much of a damn HOW much money you say you're making off of these. If you collect funds and don't ship, it's 100% profit for you, isn't it?!

I won't speculate any more regarding the transaction, other than to state that I understand that delays happen. However... Once someone has a buyer's money, it is the responsibility of the seller to be completely up front about what's going on. Communicate, communicate, and communicate some more. Keeping the buyers in the loop will go a long way towards making them feel good about a transaction. Even if there is a delay.
My analysis of the situation may or may not have been flawed, but it was the best I could do with the information I was being given. I will retract my "crook" statement and offer an apology for whatever I may have misjudged.
I have cancelled my complaint with Paypal.
Edit - I also revised my rating of the seller to overall positive. The pieces are nicely done. My main complaint is/was the communication issue, and the unanticipated shippng delay.
Thank you, Lonnie.
