these are laser cut from 3/8 mild steel. these brackets come untapped. the holes are cut and ready to be tapped. the rear knuckles have to be tapped for the swap anyway, so you will already have that tap. while your doing the knuckles I recommend tapping the brackets as well at that time.
$95 shipped
** If you would like just the front or rear brackets, $60 shipped then **
I don't know the story behind that statement, but the drawings are freely available on the forum in many different posts.
If the drawings are available for free, then no harm no foul.
Then take this scenario in to account... www.fierosails.com sells a replacement insert for the Notchie Sail Windows. I made my own insert out of black acrylic. I could easily sell them cheaper on my website than what they are sold for on www.fierosails.com . I have not done so because it would just not be morally right.
I know for a fact that the OP bought a set from Forced_Firebird. The OP bought his the same time I bought mine.
I'm also willing to sell just the front or rear brackets, $60 shipped then.. I'll update the original post with that too
back when I bought mine I noticed some people wanted just the rears. so along with being nice and selling for less that what I paid, I will offer just fronts/rears if thats all you need.

I do see your point, but we live in a capitalist society... Imagine how much it would cost to buy a refrigerator if Maytag was the only company manufacturing them? How much would Ford charge for brake pads if no aftermarket manufacturers made comparable pads?
We also live in a free society; we each have the option to buy from whom ever we like. You (or anyone for that matter) can buy these from someone else if you do not care for the OP's business practices.
I am not intending this to turn into a debate here; just don't think its proper to give this guy a hard time for offering a product that may or may not be needed in the Fiero comunity...
As long as there is not a copy right on them there is no reason why he can not make them and sell them. I am doing the same thing right know with the 88 12" brackets. I found the diagrams on how to make them and now I am selling them. No one is singling you out. If I had a 87 or older fiero I would buy them in a heart beat. What is immoral is people making this stuff and charging 10 time the cost to make them just becouse they know they are the only ones making them and selling them. just my two cents. Lonnie
For what it's worth, I tried to contact the previous "manufacturer" of these brackets and got no reply. I'm in for a set but, won't pay $$ until they are ready to ship. Guaranteed to fit?

I'm up for a set (Front & Rear). How long to receive the product from the time payment is received? And thank you for the service you are providing. I just hope this thread doesn't turn evil, wicked, mean and nasty as others have.

Please PM me with the order info. This swap will accommodate the stock rims and E-Brake cables, correct? I can follow the Detailed 11.25" LeBaron/Seville brake upgrade writeup w/parts list ('84-'87 only) by GS Jon? Sorry for all the questions but I just want to make sure because the Fiero I purchased did not have any E-Brake arms or cable brackets on the calipers. :-(. I have new E-brake cables. I figure if I have to spend money on new stock Calipers (just for the Cable brackets) I might as well spend a little more for a better braking system to go along with my 3800 S/C Swap (Which is complete) but cant get it inspected until I fix the E-brake system.

the set I had was sold to "sixstringretard", but I'm having more made. most likely they will be done tomorrow (which is already today lol)..
I dont have the stock fiero rims so I cant tell you if they fit those or not, you would have to ask someone else. I can tell you the stock ebrake cables fit though

Electroshop I can let you know in about 2 weeks if these will fit under stock rims for sure, as mine will be stock rims.

As for the brackets on the calipers I found advanced auto parts has everything the for the lowest price and has a discount online. I worked up 2 separate orders and saved $80 off the purchase. The rear calipers come with the brackets but you will need to find someone that has a set of the springs (Fiero or Caddy). Don't forget you will need the longer hoses as well. Fronts can be used on the rear is what I'm told and 88's can be used on the front.
I can send you an e-mail to save 40% at advanced if you want to get your parts there. I get $10 out of it so anyone that wants to just PM me.

GS Jon took his post down but there are 2 places I found it.
Thanks for the info sixstring. Hey Scott0999, I will have to back out for the moment, unfortunately, for the reason of finances, till I save up a little more cash. After checking my Quicken account and the price of 4 calipers, rotors and misc. parts, the two didn't jell well due to a guy who owes me $350.00 for some work I performed did not pay me (AGAIN). So my finances are a bit crippled. I hope I'm not causing an inconvenience for you. I will still be definitely getting a set from you shortly it's just the money I was counting on did not come threw as expected. So I have to settle for spending $160.00 for (2) E-brake arms, (2) Springs & (2) Cable brackets from the Fiero Factory. :-(
