88-only Brake Upgrade ...................$500This entire setup was on my wife's 88 GT for a couple years. You'll have to have 17" or larger wheels. The only two problems I had were that the fronts (13" HD setup from 97 ZR1) would lock up before the rears under
extremely heavy braking. (Never a problem under normal driving conditions) But MAN, do these things stop fast!!! A proportioning valve would have solved the imbalance. I was also never able to connect the parking brake. The Corvette bits are all there and working, I just went back to the 12" rotors with Fiero calipers and called it "done". These include everything you need, including the banjo bolts which were probably the hardest part to find. The calipers stay in the factory location only further out. The brackets do not rotate the calipers around on the hub. The pads and rotors are worn. They could be used as they are but I would replace them with new ones. The rotors were used when I got them and I don't know if they could be turned again or not. If you want to have me ship them, I can have them measured before hand to make sure it isn't a waste of shipping $$$. If you're planning on putting new ones on anyway, I'll throw them in my scrap metal pile. I reused the 12" rotors that would have gone on the back when I went back to the Fiero calipers. I'll also throw in an old hub with the studs removed so that you can easily drill new holes in the new rotors. I never changed out our stock master cylinder and never felt like it needed it. If a local club mamber had never made a few brackets for my current setup and needed a test fit, I would have probably never removed these from the car. These would be GREAT on a track car with an adjustable proportioning valve.
