received my plates on saturday and on sunday i installed the driver side, hopefully will do the passenger side today but it's suppose to be over 100 degrees. it may wait until temps drop back down in the 90's

good deal.. I haven't installed mine.. sad I know.. I thought punching out 25set would be enough.. lol
hoping to install mine over vaca.. as tomorrow I do a junkyard crawl.. gta wheels, a fan sgroud for my 71 c-10 and some parts for a member here..

Just received my 2 pairs and they're perfect! Thanks for taking this project and knocking it out of the park!

The tweets are to be cut by the installer... there is a HUGE variety of tweeter sizes in component speakers, so this plate could not be a 'one hole fits all' type thing.
On the plus side... most of the tweeter sizes will fit your standard hole saw bits. If you don't have a hole saw set... run down to Harbor Freight... they are like $4 for a whole kit when on sale...

Also, some installers might not use a compnent style speaker, so the uncut plate will still allow for a basic 2-way or 3-way speaker.

In previous pms with E.Furgal, I'd ask him to cut the holes as he stated he would do early in his original thread. He contacted me several times to make sure the hole size was correct. That's why I posted they were not there. My comments were directed at E.Furgal, and I'm surprised you responded instead of him. Either way, they look great.
