#011 getting a fatter rear end. It's rough for now, but it's coming along w/o Ferrari iconic renderings. Use your brain folks! Imagination is a terrible thing to waste. [This message has been edited by madcurl (edited 04-27-2010).]

Rough corners will be smooth out, but for now the bumper is widened out by 3" per side and dropped 3". In a week or so the bumper should be finished and we'll move onto the front bumper; that too will be tweaked and modified, but using the stock black belt line.

The Jimmy fiberglass bumper. Nothings going on with #020's chrome engine beautification so, it's time to pay #011 rear bumper a visit. A little bit of white primer and it's all good. As always, I wanted to maintain the Fiero's DNA thus I had a unique idea to use the front opening on the nose and reverse it and place it onto the rear bumper. IMO it's one way of keeping all things, "Fiero" and not borrowing from known iconic parts (Ferrari or Lamborghini). Thus the bumper is now lowered by 3" and widened by 3". This will eliminate the ugly 84-87 emergency brake cable being noticed. [This message has been edited by madcurl (edited 05-24-2010).]

The backside with attachments-nicely constructed I might add. Next; the front bumper for #015.

(the right wrinkle near the badging has been corrected) Trying to keep the bumper "Fiero-ish" and not Ferrari-ish. [This message has been edited by madcurl (edited 06-15-2010).]

Not yet. The rear bumper is completed, but I have additional ideas for Dan to work on that will match-up with #011 future bumper. Tweakness is my weakness.

Time to raise the rear end. I re-installed the Ryne's brakes and hub today. Cleaned a few items and check for issues. Minor leak, but solved. New pads: Final testing of Corvette wheel. I'll have HRE mount a new lip and reduce the offset for better clearance. The original owner got a bit too excited and eat a curb. [This message has been edited by madcurl (edited 11-19-2010).]

Back together again. It's sitting a bit higher by 2-turns on the coil=over threads. The "three finger" rule. [This message has been edited by madcurl (edited 11-19-2010).]

It was causing a minor bend in the axle thus new bands to prevent think grease from oozing out. I might turn it back down 1-turn once I drive around. Right now it's 3-fingers, but once you get a few miles it may drop just a bit. D1S originally had the car jacked up in the back, but I wanted it lower.

I fired #011 up today. It's been nearly 11-years since the engine swap and I need to remove old rubber fuel lines. While firing the car up-I smelled gasoline and discovered a small leak. [This message has been edited by madcurl (edited 01-19-2011).]

I had to replace the fuel filter on #011 today. It was clogged. The last time I drove #011 it was very windy. While putting air in the tires, a gush of wind slammed my decklid breaking part of the stand attachment. Oh well, looks like a good excuse for a paint job or at least tweaking the vents.
