I'm going to go with the M300 front side marker lights with a PIAA round fog lamps for the 88. I'll morph he rear bumper, hood, and rear deck from the Redux. I just need to get the 88 from Archie's shop. I have "other" plans for the Redux's hood and rear deck. (a.k.a. organ donor)

Stay tuned.

I stopped by Trends (shop) to check-in on old Redux. It's still there all beef-up looking. The guys asked me if I'm ready for the big switch? I told Joe to hold-off. I was going to switch out the rear deck lid but said, nah. They like the IRM kit and the 13" Corvette brake kit.

Oh yeah, bump! I need to get going on this puppy. I have way too many projects going right now.

Edit: sorry no pics.

WOW!!!! I am througly impressed. Somewhat new to the forum and let me tell you this is a winner. Even the things I don't like the first shot of them you post I am in love with by the second or third pic of the same section. This is an incredible car. I would say thought that you might look into a nice corvette blue from around 2000-2002 I think is the years, can't remember the name but it would look great and showoff all the body work. That and you just don't see enough good looking blue cars. Oh Oh oh you could also look at the Lotus elise blue that would look great. Well keep us informed I can't wiat to see where this is going.

maybe its been too long since i read pages 1 thru 6 but i dont remember what is happening with the taillights. are you going with stock one? or are you open to suggestions at that end of the car as well? hate to update the front end and not the back. i have seen some pretty nice taillights out there if you are going to be moulding stuff in and updating the look.

The Redux is on the back-burner for now. Sorry. I'll send this one to Archie's next year. Currently I'm forcused on #15. But here is what I may do or will do for the Redux rear lights. Yes, the Redux is still open for ideas. If Ryan is heading out this way to Mexico to pick-up a Fiero, I might send it sooner to Archie's? Right now it's too cold for me to go back east again. Thanks for inquiring.

I've seen them on Yellowstone's car.

Nah don't give up hope on this one, Madcurl is just busy getting Choptop #15 ready for Daytona.

Trust me the longer he waits the more awesome ideas he comes up with.

When all is said and done the redux will turn out even better than it already looks, just don't expect much until he finishes up with #15.

Look for an interesting twist in this story down the road.

Thanks. I've been spotted by the locals rolling around with the "transplant" in a incognito fashion. 19's on all fours with 225 up front and 245's out back in a rather baby-ish appearance. Even though it looks normal w/o a chop being one of the only two owners in town with a Fiero gave my "cloakness" away.

Oh well, I have been neglecting the Redux. Although it may appear that way, I have however, been re-thinking some ideas on the Redux. There will be some modifications that #15 currently does not have. So far the Redux has been a "learning" and "growing" mock-up for ideas. Beside, the Redux doesn't have a N* , making my decision easy to place the Redux on the "back burner."

What changes? For those who were at the Daytona show already know what I have store for it. It will no doubt be a little different than #15 and maybe "visually" better but still looking like a Fiero. Last night while at one of my favorite reading spots, I came-up with another idea involving those fender flares. Thanks to Archie and Mike D (#16 chopper) helped in making some of these decisions.

Lets Roll. It's back to work on the Redux. MinnGreenGT sent the parts for the rear clip modifications. Front fascia and sides will be mounted on N* body. Work will start on Tuesday. Once work is completed, off to Archie's for the chop. The deck lid is in FL on #15.

Lets Rock!

What are you going to do about the decklid for #15..??

It's pretty bad when you have to start #pering your Fiero Choptops...

Too hard to explain and way too long to write it all out. I explained it to #14 & #16 owners at Daytona.

EDIT: I forgot, Tony knows and so does Orville and Rick. Rick and Orville are the only ones who seen it. It's really hard trying to figure it out w/o the part in your hand. Just like the fender flares.....it's too simple to demonstrat yet so hard to explain.

It is going to be wicked ! Definatly gonna be a front-runner for mod of the year !

It will even top the fender flare mod.

Hi all,

Am I reading this update right, bear with the idea that it is a lil late in the game, but are you going to widen the rear end more?? If so how much width is it going to be all together??? Where could one get that cardboard stuff at?? How easy is it to work with?? Thread is looking great as ever too!!

Not really. That mock-up was for #15 chopper. I needed to see how far I could go with a stock fender flare.

I finally finished the "rear neck-burn clip. It's perfect for mounting of Street Works L.E.D. rear light bar. I first placed it on #11 too see if it look okay. I might add that it looks good only with a choptop IMO. Although it look perfect w/a chop it seems to go better w/o stock wing. The part looks similar to that of the old style MR2's with the see-through glass spoiler. No more rear neck sun burns hehehehe.

I may re-shape it once I get the light bar from Watson's Street Works. Exoticse might post the pics later if he has time.

Enjoy.

Enjoy.
