Seen a 2005 black Corvette today. So I guess the cars are on the showroom floor? I'll have to swing by and take a peek and prep for operation, hehehehe.
I took some crude measurements and I think I have enough room? It only takes 2 wks for the light to arrive. However, the car is a Archie's being chop'd. I want to get started on this before January 2005. It shouldn't be that hard comparred to the Celica lights.
Could someone please photoshop this pic onto a Fiero? I have a pic of the Redux front but the wrong side...duh!!!!!
or on this car.
Thanks. madcurl

I stopped by a local Chevy dealership to re-think the Corvette 2005 headlamps. While no one was looking, I pulled out my measuring tape. The lights measure approx. 13" across.
well here is an update of mine using 94 camaro headlights i have had a lot of other things going on so they have been on the back burner but , now i have to have the car ready for the end of jan

Those are sweet CurlMan.... If I may ask how much they were..?? I remember reading that they were in the $800.00++ for those.. Please tell me you did'nt do that..
I just love your "pipe-dreams". That is how I started on 'Smoothy'. My Pipe-Dreams. {miss-it}
Ouch! That bump hurts. I've examed the Corvette lamps. The center part can be painted. I want to have the part chromed painted to resemble the F430 lamps. There is a shop in L.A. that can perform the task.
the f430 is a nice car i saw one all i gotta say is wow. curly i have a sweet idea for some taillamps, ill tell you the secret im working on..... ill send you a p.m. nobody has done it but i think once they see it most will !
Full tubular suspension! Fully adjustable coilovers front and rear! Poly everything! 3.4L TWIN DUAL CAM V6 240+H.P. Heads p/p! underdrive pulley! Darth chip! Accell performance ignition! Borla exhaust (how sweet)! Darrell Morse strut tower brace Now who ever said that a V6 can be fast????????

These are still my favorite out of everything, if someone could make a hood/headlight setup like this, people would flock, it is very intimidating....BTW these are Fold-Down Headlights( ie: the flat grey piece in front of the headlamp pops up and completely covers it as if there is only a hood.
Those are the coolest Fiero headlights I've ever seen. Who makes them/who's car is that? The only thing better than pop-ups are pop-downs, that's some crazy pimpin. I like how my pop-ups come out of no where, but pop-downs would fix the headlights popping up over 100 and them breaking down and not working.

That front end is one of the modified kits that Ron at Cool Custom Cars sells. It's a modified 355. www.coolcustomcars.com I'm not a fan of the Sunfire lights, but the other day on Ebay, I saw some eyebrow covers for them. Made a world of difference.
This was my solution to replace the ugly square lights. The housings are 90mm Hella projectors mounted on custom made buckets, they pop-up 2" lower than the stock square lights. They are DOT approved housings and bulbs.
sluppy123 could you go into more detail of how you made the headlights? Thats exactly what I want. I've been trying to figure out how to do that for some time. I really want HID lights.
earlier there was a commnet about rsx tail lights i just want ed to chime in and say im doing rsx altezzas on the back of my notchie ill post pics and do a build up thread when i start

This is where I got the housings- http://www.rallylights.com/hella/90mm_modules.asp They have them is both halogen and HID. I will take some pictures of the buckets and post them. The buckets were fairly easy to make once I had all the measurements, the hardet part was designing and placing the parts that lift the doors open.
