I went down with the new owner. He wanted to see some cars to get some ideas. He's talking about getting the imsa side scoops and a paint job. He is my sisters boyfriend, but they have been together for about 5 years so I usaully refer to him as my brother inlaw just because it's easier.

Now...this years car. Madcurl, please forgive my little baby wheels. I haven't gotten that far yet, but I have my eye on some HRE's.

Let me know prior to your purchase. The distributor here in CA is a major HRE player and the price might be cheaper.

A guy who was showing a new Charger SRT-8 really liked it. He did some quick mental calculations and concluded that my car could dust his (not that either of us would be inclined to race). He seemed somewhat awestruck.
Another guy asked me which car was mine and when I told him he said "Oh, the one with the hood stuck way up in the air". It does look a little goofy with the hood up so high and the roof so low. Since then I have made a new prop rod- about 9 inches long- that makes it look pretty cool. I will see how that goes over at the next show.
There was a lady who brought a Z-06 Covrette who really liked the car. It brought back fond memories of Fieros she had in the past. I didn't hang around my car much because there was so much else to see there. I hadn't been to the gardens before and I was enjoying it as well as all the other cars. It was a fantastic venue and show.

I have to stop looking at this thread so I don't have to spend all my money on a choptop.
