Yes. I saw a F360 red Modena in town last week sporting the red headlights it was then I thought about keeping it as-is. Beside. the shop decided it was best to ride around for a year and then change over the to the black once I change out the wheels to black or if the mood hits me before hand. Seriously, the car can go either way, but the black are aggressive looking. Meanwhile, I have plans for the black C6 headlights for another project.

Right now I'm etching to get my car back from the shop for it has been there since Feb 29th and it's time to go! I hope to arrive on Wednesday and install the chrome engine parts for the shop is done, but they need to align the parts and put all things together.

I'm sorry to hear what happened at Whodeanie's Customs. I too came real close to loosing #011 at a shop in Largo Fl back in 2003 or so. Everything worked out for one of the owners of the shop was a good guy and made everything right with me. It's only a memory now, but at the time I was very, very worried, especially since my car was nearly 3,200 miles away. Like you I too warned others on the forum about the shenanigans and they too avoided the shop. You can read more about my experience here; https://www.fiero.nl/forum/A...110502-1-048655.html

Despite all of this #020 too almost suffered the same faith. I took my car to a shop in town. The shop didn't like the idea that I came around on a weekly basis. They started off on the right footing like, contract, agreed work, time of completion, and so forth. However, the shop owner tried to charge me twice the amount that was agreed upon. After 3-months or so, I got my car back and left! I lost maybe $300 or so, but I took #020 too the shop I had trusted with #011-TRENDS!! Trends took nearly 9-months to complete, but in the end I'm smiling from ear-to-ear! The same advice I gave to Jscott (#014 in TX). After talking to Jonathan for several months he too finally went to the shop and go his car back and trust me-the painter messed up his car.

So, you might ask, "What did Jonathan do?" Jscott took #014 to V8Archie's and with the help of Firefox #014 was put back together, tweaks added, and the entire car was painted. You too my friend should do the same. Send your car to V8Archie. I know 8k isn't something a person can get over from in a month or maybe a year, but sending it to V8Archie is perhaps the only way to get past this tragedy and too move forward and if I may add; a way to get back at all that has gone wrong. Otherwise, the situation is going to eat you up from the inside out.

Not normally a big fan of black rims, but on this car with the red/black scheme, I think they visually pop better than the polished versions

I vote for the Black HRE's on this car plus I dont care for the step lip. IMO the step lip is too old school for the mordern look of this car.

PS, man smoke the head lights and tint the windows.

No window tint for #020, but changing the headlights will eventually happen at a later date.

I agree the step lip for #020 is a tad bit too old school.

The black wheels do make the car look more aggressive !

Curly i think if you smoke the lenses of the headlights, like you did the rears, (i could be wrong) but wouldn't matter what color the background is ??

The Corvette headlights are bit too pricey to experiement on. The shop said they could tint the lenses, but when they did that too the back lense they went a bit too dark IMO. I'll go black eventually, but for now they will have to remain as-is. I have other projects I'd like to explore like #015 using NSX headlights.

Oh everything! I have a fresh 2.8 I am going to stuff in it for now, I could not pass it up a fresh rebuilt engine for 200 bucks with all the parts powder coated. Later on I will replace it with something a bit bigger perhaps a 3.8sc or a v-8 still on the fence. I am still working on that new front end for it as well but I put it on the back burner for now till I get the Corvettes done and John's chop when it gets here from the mess down south. When that is done I told Blackthundergt I would fix his up too so my plate is a bit full. When I catch up tho the car will see big brakes, big engine, new nose and fresh paint. I am probably going to grab some Mr Mikes seat covers too and perhaps a totally new kind of dash I have been thinking about . Oh yeah, one more thing I may wide body it too but I am not sure I kinda like the look now.
