Stalling only on startup. Regapped plugs back down to .065". Front plugs are a major pain. Spent over an hour on #1 plug

The windshield wiper system has developed a ghost wipe that occurs every 90 to 120 seconds that the engine is running. Rather than try to troubleshoot switch and board gremlins, I took a different approach. I installed a toggle switch in the hot wire circuit coming from the wiper fuse. It kills the power to the wipers and eliminates the ghost wipe.

After a 66 mile trip, for some reason, the battery won't fully charge.
Time to replace the battery that I installed new in Aug, 2009.
Update: May be a bad connection instead.

Replaced a weeping front freeze plug in the block.
A/c flush was black with metal particles.
Replaced compressor and accumulator.
Turned front upper ball joints 180 degrees to bring camber back in spec.
Bought & installed rear camber bolts, the ones with eccentric washers and adjusted rear camber.
Did a 4 wheel alignment using the string & digital calipers method.
Buffed & waxed the paint.

No start due to a faulty neutral safety switch on the transmission. Dissambled the switch, cleaned out old grease, sanded copper contact areas, applied di-electric grease and reassmbled.
Fires right up.

Voltage at the battery with the A/C operating was down to 13.1v.
The 1 year warranty on the Bestest rebuilt alternator I had previously bought expired many years ago.
This time I bought & installed an Ultima rebuilt alternator with a limited lifetime warranty.
14+v with the A/C in operation.
Things are good once more.

Replaced the transmisson gear selector switch.
The contacts would not conduct enough amperage to activate the solenoid.
Runs great!

Starter Bendix drive is beginning to fail.
Fortunately, I have the receipt for a limited lifetime warranty for a drive that I purchased from O'Rielly's on 4/17/05.

Replaced the starter drive. Unfortunately, to remove the starter I had to disconnect the A/C lines to the compressor. Reassembled & the engine starts perfectly on the first twist of the key!
