Hi All, Just picked up an 88NB and will be upgrading the rims in the coming months. Show me yours to give me ideas. Also, please note your brand and sizing so I can use it for reference. I haven't decided on a budget at this time, so I'm wide open. I have HRE's on my C5 Corvette and love them, but they are $$, so I'm not sure if I'll go quite that drastic on my Fiero

This is what I have. I actually don't know anything about rims, so I would appreciate if anyone can tell me what brand/style these are.

I've always liked the modern look of those Focals... nice. I've got a set of "Custom" Aftermarket wheels (they were modified after their initial purchase). They are R1 Racing's GTR-4 Wheels (not available in gold from mfgr).
Read about the struggle to get them! https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/052038.html [This message has been edited by MinnGreenGT (edited 06-29-2005).]

I'm sorry Sir to hear that. You put the HRE's on the wrong car.

Nothing fancy, I needed 16's minimum for bigger brakes. These were about $140 after the nearly new tires were installed. Wheels were about $125, paint for wheels was about $15 and tires and mounting free. I haven't balanced them yet. That should add about $35, but worth it. I'm not putting much into rims until the car is painted. They are from a Beretta

Wow, those sure look nice...in fact, that's the nicest looking Fiero I've ever seen!!! Is your roofline chopped, or is it just the angle of the photos? What size are those 547's you have on there?

CSA Mullins Gladiators, made in Australia (long story) 17x7, 48mm offset, front. 17x8, 35mm offset, rear. They are pretty much identical to Mille Miglia Evos, except they dont have the rivets. The car is an 88 base coupe. In a previous life, anyway. [This message has been edited by Raydar (edited 06-29-2005).]

Ahh...more HRE's...and lots of good looking rides in this post! In these photos, is the rear scoop and side skirt something you fabricated, or is it a kit you can purchase. Either way, it would no doubt take a lot of work to make fit right, but it looks awesome!

I think him and BlackazzGT have the sweetest looking rides on this forum. I have a black 86 GT that I want to put SSR Competitions (Antracite) on, but I can't decide if I want 16" or 17".

They look kind of like Enkei Phalnex(?) except for the chrome. Do a search in the archives for "artherd". He had similar rims, except silver painted.

That is madcurl's second choptop (aka #15), totally different and seperate from his silver chop top (aka #11) in the above pictures. Actually all he did was glass a front fiero fender to the rear and glassed it in along with a slightly modified Archie IRM rocker to create that new effect. Probably one of the simplest, coolest mods u can do if you can sling glass.
