Something I found out about the poly. If it's squeaking it's most of the time due to the poly twisting in the arm instead of the hardware twisting. This is due to too much grease between the poly and the arm. When putting them together just use enough grease to get them in no more. The grease the inside a lot and the ends. this is how the rubbers operate and how the poly should too.
Here in The Netherlands they charge 6% import tax + 19% VAT (25% subtotal) over package value AND shipping from the US, then there are also handling fees etc....many times I end up paying double price of the goodies because of the shipping and tax...
Ask the seller to put a much lower value or "used car parts" on the package and have any bill sent seperately....worked for me a few times, too bad your promotion shipment didnt work out.
Man you'd have a revolution here if that nonsense existed. Europeans, Australians and Canadians voted in a socialist government system and now you've got it and everything that goes along with it- $8 gal gas, confiscatory and punitive taxation, loss of your right to self protection with a firearm , limited free speech, legalized narcotics and the like. You can't complain because this is what you voted for. IMO Americans enjoy a different life but more importantly we are willing to fight to keep our freedom. Yes we pay too much taxes but no where what you pay. ALL governments are composed of thieves, crooks and perverts and I wonder when you folks will finally get it. I like people from Canada, Eurpope and Australia but their blind obedience and their willingness to be oppressed by their governments is something that I could never understand. This is yet another example of a government out of control. BTW, beautiful job on that choptop!!! Looks great.

I like the first option, just because it is fully lit up, I don't like it too much only half lit. However, the new option of doing 3 plus amber LED's on the outside would look amazing. I would have both the white and the amber LEDs as running lights and then the amber LEDs blink for the turn signal. I think that would look great and very modern.
Also that car all black would be incredibly badass.
And finally, congrats on the new born a couple weeks ago.

I hope Fie Ro dont mind. I think he was the first with that.
No problem ! actually that is still one of my dusty projects that are still somewhere on the ' - Idea<--------------->finished - ' scale... I have one, maybe both sides done in CF...they must be somewhere in a box I guess Btw, the reason I still didnt finish and put them on already is because I was going to replace the doorpins and align the doors..this can change the mirror position a little so for this to look and fit nice you may want to check the door alignment and mirror mount before making the 'adapter' piece.. Good luck with your mods, you have a nice Fiero !
I got new struts for my VDC kit this week so I will get started with those on my second car and then move them to my choptop. Hope to have them ready before 17 July when I go on American Power Tour here in Sweden.
I've always thought Dodge Vipers to be outrageous but rather sleek-looking cars --- until I saw the above photo of your Fiero next to one. Your car makes the Dodge Viper look downright bulbous and ungainly by comparison.
In short, the exterior lines of your car are aesthetically very sleek, in my opinion.
Could you post a photo of your car's interior as well, but in finished form? (I ask only because in the photos I noticed on pages 3 and 4, the interior didn't seem quite finished yet. However, it's possible I'd overlooked a photo of it in finished form.)
By the way, to me, your Fiero just EXUDES sophistication. More specifically, every line of it which I've seen so far just seems to have been very tastefully done, devoid of any stylistic exaggerations.

Thanks! Pics of the Interior will come soon. Not 100% ready yet.
Now when I got my front ready I got my first customer
This will be a 355 front that are bolt on. Will get back with pics from the first copy and customer. I make the mold when the front are on the car to avoid problem. That means bolt on and not the problems I had + more. Is there anyone in Europe that would like this front without the work that all others had to deal with send me a PM and I will get back to you.
And in a near future I will also have a nice rear bumper that will go perfect with the front.
Could not go to the sportscar meet because my daughter got sick. But I got some help with my color choise. I was thinking Black at first but I changed my mind after this picture. The new color will be Saab Cosmic Blue
Did another yearly inspection today. No problem. After this yearly inspection I can use the car until Dec. next year. So after today the car will go in the garage for this year and the upcoming mods and paint job. And when the car is ready I can use it without doing a new inspection before 2011

The F355 front is of and I am planing of having a mold ready before next week. But there is a lot to think about. Dont want the front to be dammaged in the process... All the lights and stuff must go and holes be plugged in the back.
Thats it for today
