Hi - Thanks.
No - it's a completely stock LHD model. The cost of conversion over here is rediculous, so very few are ever done. Last time I looked at it, it would have run me about £2,500 or about $5,000. Given how much the car is worth, there was no way to justify it...
Biggest problem I have is on some of the many narrow and winding lanes over here. Get stuck behind someone, and it's hard to see around them to pass. Having said that, when driving it on the continent, it often isn't all that much easier getting around trucks when the wheel is on the correct side.
Second problem is that oncoming headlights can be a bit blinding, as can truck lights when they come up behind you - because the lights are set to angle away from the eyes of someone in the right hand seat, not the left hand seat.

Ah well....
I think fiero drivers get blinded by truck lights no matter what country they drive in or what side of the road. Beautiful shot of your fiero on the rise over that little Belgian town, though. I love it. Have you looked at proff's posts? (He's in Australia) He converted his car to RHD himself. Might be a tad less dear that way. but I imagine that it's as 'cool' or fadish to own a foreign car with the 'wrong' side drive, just as it is here for those hard core Jag and Austin fanatics. A friend of mine just bought a 63 Austin Healy 3000. Perfectly restored. Very cool car.

back to travel when your Fiance` lives nearly 2 hours away and works most saturdays, it gives you time to take pics along the way. too bad the car is going into storage soon till next summer
Justa6, I love your car. especially the rolling stock. That is a perfect fiero in my book, a literal 10/10, capturing the essence of the design beautifully.

Thanks 4 the great photos Justa6, some great cruising EH! I do hope you meant next summer
If any of you guys want these red-on-red shots to be compiled in a feature for Domestic Driver's January Issue, I'll be glad to put it together. I just need the high resolution shots and a few details on your car (name, model, location of pic).
I think it would be cool - and the more people see these great looking cars, the more the young J-body kids will appreciate them...
Just email them to me and I'll take care of the rest. Thanks!
I'm looking for a good desktop quality picture of a wingless 88 Red Coupe. I had a very nice Autum scene, but when I changed to the 'Moonscape Fiero' the last desktop got lost off of the list on my display properties.

I miss my Fiero, gonna have to go to storage tomorrow and sit in her for awhile. Then start taking the tranny out, little OOPS at the track weekend before putting it away.
