Was watching "My best friends wedding", last night. Scene where Julia Roberts kisses the dude, and the fiance (Cameron Diaz) sees them and runs too the parking lot to her car, gets in and drives off, "dude" does the same, then Julia Roberts gets into some food service truck to give chase and drives past a Fiero parked in the parking lot.
Just channel surfing and stopped on the 1996 movie Primal Fear. On a break between scenes they briefly show a parking lot with a silver Mercedes & a black notchback Fiero. Not a significant scene, but another to add to the list if anyone is keeping score at home.
I found this 13 year old old post after I had tonight spotted the Fiero referenced above. Yes, the black notchie is indeed "briefly" shown (at around the 40 minute mark)... but I captured it. It's a good movie.
Nothing in Common with Tom Hanks and Jackie Gleason. In the opening credits Tom Hanks is commuting from O'hare into downtown Chicago and you see a white notchie beside his jeep at approximately 1:10.
Hulu Original show "Future Man" S1, Episode 9. The time travelers are in 1985, one of them goes to get transpo... rolls up in an '85 GT. It looked good, too.
It seems to me that I’m seeing more Fiero’s in newer modern like Pineapple Express, The Change up, Pain&Gain Oh and Finally in the Fast and furious franchise but not street racing but in space 🙄
Last night, I saw A Million Miles Away, a biography of Jose M. Hernandez, the first Hispanic astronaut on Amazon Prime. I thought it was a great story, but also, there is a Fiero in it. When Hernandez parks his '60's Impala at Lawrence Livermore Labs, a white notchback with 18" wheels is clearly visible in the background.
