Repaired my headlamp bezel rings, flushed and bled the clutch, and set the base timing to specs. She is running very fine now. I am now having trouble with the starter circuit, and need to figure that new problem out. That is for tomorrow!
Built a cradle dolly. Probably add a few more things to it later on, but for now it is working great. Should help me get my engine mounts made up, as well as make future cradle drops as easy as possible.
today from the pick and pull--got brown carpet--1 dew strip--driver side window glass without breaking it--new cowl--passenger side taillight lens after discovering mine was cracked--after carlisle will post my restore thread
Today I replaced one of the broken brake lines on the Indy. Went to bleed it and the bleeder on the caliper broke. I put the wheel back on and lowered the car down. I'll work on that some other time. Maybe I'll wash the 88 later when it cools off outside.
Started and almost finished dropping the cradle on my 88. Just need to disconnect the E brake cable, drain the coolant, remove the front cradle bolts and lift it up.
Went to Carlisle event--bought refrigerant (maybe now have AC)--bought a whole mess of other parts--fixed the lighter--drove over 300 miles with no issues
I've had an issue with my temperature gauge being into the red before the fan comes on. Today I let the car idle until the fan kicked on while reading the temperature with a different temperature gauge. The fan kicked on, the temperature gauge in my cluster was pegged in the red, the second gauge I had hooked up showed 190 degrees. I guess the gauge in the car is not reading correctly. Oh, and I washed it today.

I know this isn't the thread for it, but clean your connections at the gage.
Removed an intermittent starter, found out my new starter is the wrong one, took a bad used starter and the intermittent starter and made a good starter...
I washed her. First time in the 2 years we have had it. It's hard to wash this car because it leaks so bad...you have to be real careful how you spray it.
Traded my 4.9!!!! I got 2 Polaris MSX 110 turbo charged jet skis with double trailer. Total value $12,000. I tried to sell it but got lowballed to many times so I sat on it and waited. I still have my GT and have plans for it.
Installed a low temp fan switch from Rodney. 180 deg stat too. Thumbs up for Rodney, always a quick delivery time! Ordered Thurs morning, Monday it's in the mail box.
Installed the 88 GT seat covers that I bought from tomanyfieros, about 5 years ago. They were damn near perfect, just like he described them.
I actually unboxed them and ran them through the washing machine a couple of months ago. Been trying to work up the motivation to swap them, ever since.
They were much easier than I remembered, after having done one set of Mr. Mikes. Took about 2 hours per seat. Unfortunately, I ran out of hog rings just as I was finishing. Ended up making 4-5 hog rings out of four-penny nails.

I bought some parts from AutoZone. A new (reman) Cardone distributor, cap and rotor. The distributor goes into storage if/when the old distributor takes a dump.. They had it in stock unlike the last time where they had to send into Orlando to get one. They sent the wrong one in twice!.
