After lowering my GT the other week it was very twitchy while driving so after lots of reading here and other places I spent the morning Saturday resetting the front sway bar end links so the bar sits parallel to the floor at rest. Ended up with 5/8" spacers and poly bushings, man what a difference! It felt like a different car, twitchyness went away and didn't bang the bump stops on every bump in the road ( I did not trim the bump stops yet) after doing this I don't think I will need to trim them as I not once felt them bottom out driving the same roads I drove prior to this change.
More testing needed . . .
Also changed oil to NAPA 5w-30 Synthetic since it was on sale all this month, my oil pressure gauge stopped bouncing all around now, thought it was a bad sender. Again more test driving required
I do love my car lowered but what a pain to work on underneath with a floor jack! I need to make up some short ramps to get it high enough to get the jack under, I can hear my garage mechanic now when he has to do my yearly inspection LOL

I got to do what every Fiero owner loves to do.... drive the car. woo hoo! I got my driver's side door skin on and dew wipe replaced. (still have to replace the passenger side dew wipe.)....BUT I got it out to a local cruise night.... AND got to park next to an excellent looking Formula!
In the process of changing out my fuel pump. Sumbitches fight back don't they? After that I'm making egr block off dates, changing the oil, shimming the starter and firing this bad boy up under its own power for the first time in 4 years! Wish me luck.... hopin for no gremlins...
Started to drill out a broken bolt. Did some more rust prevention under the car. Painted the engine vents. Used a zip tie to get the throttle cable off of the exhaust.

Not today but Friday I made a cold air intake for the 88. The filter is right behind the side scoop on the passenger side. The turbo sounds awesome now. Going to try to get some videos with my GoPro today.
I got a code 32 and 44 thrown so I pulled the 02 Sensor out for a new one, changed out the EGR Gasket because it had a giant hole in it, cleaned out the throttle body and EGR valve with some carb cleaner so hopefully that solves that problem.
Well it was actually done yesterday. But I got a 5-Speed Shift Plate Template done for a replacement for "tntcary". It will have no ashtrays with power window / mirror switches without the use of the lower mounting plate.
Took out the spare tire "bucket" to clean the nastyness out of it.
Cleaned the front compartment. Not perfect, but much better.
Went to salvage yard and picked up new hood latch, windshield washer pump and a little bracket that holds a light socket. I had the socket just dangling with no bracket.
