Installed Rodney's new clutch Master Cylinder, bled the Slave Cylinder, and finally got to Test Drive my new Fiero. My left leg is a bit wobbly after 4 yrs w/o a manual trans but I'm looking forward to building up again.
Next day ... changed the transaxle fluid, oil & filter. Uuggh, prior oil changers created a real mess under there on the block, cross members, starter, etc. Anyone know a good way to degrease the bottom end at home?
I finally finished rebuilding my A/C system. Vacuumed it for about an hour and turned off the pump. If it still shows a vacuum in the morning, I'll call it good, and charge it.
Edit - All charged up, and cooling like a fiend. Just in time for winter.

Changed the spark plugs. Gotta say that taking the deck lid off made getting to the 3 inside plugs a Piece of Cake. Holy Frijoles! were those inside plugs in terrible shape.
DAMN SON!!! That is a gorgeous engine bay! Just throwing a wild idea out there, has anyone ever tried cutting the "FIERO" badge out of the top of the stock upper intake and finding a nice clean way to attach it to the supercharger? I think it would look awesome. Perhaps a lot of work but if I did an l67 swap that would be something I'd do.
Anyway, what I did to my Fiero...yanked the tank and pulled th pump out to find someone wired the pump backward. LOL that would probably be why the pump is cooked....
I cleared away the brackets and steering rack to drop the crossmember in the morning. From there we can install the rest of the suspension kit on to the crossmember. I'll worry about the brakes later. I just want to get the car back on the ground for now.
well....it seems I need a front wheel bearing. sooooo that's on the agenda for today. to bad, too. I really wanted to clean the yard of leaves. NOT! off to the fixin store.........
Here's the X-member off the car with the new UCAs.
Got both CAs on with spindle and hub mated.
On the car with coil-overs mounted!
MASSIVE rotors!
I still need to mount the calipers, lines, change out the MC, and get the tie-rods connected before even thinking of going anywhere. There is some ridiculous camber with the current alignment. I'll play with that and get new LCA bolts to replace the old worn ones.
With some help pulled a sunroof top panel off a parts car so I can later install it on my daily driver. Was surprised how well my window puller kit I picked up at Harbor Freight made getting the panel off.
Wiped it down and drove it to the local Cars and Coffee. Only Fiero there. It was quite popular Saw a really nice RX7 there with an LS2 swapped into it.
I went to work today and there was another red Fiero in the parking lot!!! And it belonged to another employee!! What are the chances that employees at the same store drive the same kind of car!! Mine is an 86 SE, the other fellows is an 88 Formula. Mine is in much better shape!! Note the license plate on the Formula!!
Wasn't today but the other day I went out to a local u-pull it and grabbed a real nice passenger seat, strut top-hats, and a cradle bolt. I know, nothing too exciting.
