Finished pulling a 4.10 4 speed from a parts car, cleaning it, ground out the webbing for a N* starter, mating it to a dummy block, aligning it in a spare cradle, designed the rough drawings for motor mounts, PayPal'd Ryan Hess for his chip, software, and instructions for a 7730 ecm to control the N*, pulled the 4 cylinder fuel lines out of the parts car, pulled the shifter and shift cables out of the parts car, and a few other minor details.

I finished replacing a leaking gas tank and fuel vapor lines on my yellow '88 notchie. Kudos to Brad who helped me find a new used tank and ditto to Dustin for letting me purchase one off his parts car! She's back on the road! WOO HOO!!!
Moved the Fino out to the empty garage in my empty rental house next door. (I sure hope I get a tenant soon!)
No time to work on the car since it will most likely be sold in October. Now it's time to get to the T-top that's still in my garage. Another Fino body would be nice, and I'm leaning toward an SC3800 over an SBC.
Lildevil, I thought the decklid was already painted? Wait - that's a new bump on the deck, right?
Replace both parking brake cables, ordered two new calipers for the rear. I got a wheel I had order from the UPS guy, and set it on the rear axle to check clearance. Cut 9" out of the drivers side coolant tube that was bent to heck and flat. Cleaned and repainted the two heat shields from the engine compartment. Seems like the more I fix, the more I find busted ,broken ,seized up or rusted . Removed the shifter to make it a short stick shifter.
I can't play until the customer's cars are done. My one tech retired, so now it's only me and one tech. this is what we have to get done today. Dave inside

I guess I have a good rep around town with these Nazi-wagens
New Fuel pump, and finished installing my new stereo. Also started working on a new set of doors which are going to replace the ones on my car (better shape than my current ones), and started removing side skirts and fenders in order to remove my defective lambo hinges.

Didn't do anything today yet. My plans involve finishing up my motor from its partial rebuild. Hopefully I can start it for one. I have only started the Fiero 2 times MAYBE since I bought it LAST September.

Mmmmm indeed, . Starting to get my Fieros ready for the Red River Ruckus. Drove the cruise route to get exact mileage. 100 miles later I am friggin happy I have a Fiero.
Dreamed about it....as the GT is located in Louisiana and I'm currently in Korea until the middle of next month. Guess to get some pleasure I'm going to search what I can find on ebay.
street dreams 1.25" drop spindles and aluminum hubs .i wanted more travel out of my coilovers and the al hubs reduce unsprung weight by about 2.5 lbs per front wheel .goes well with my held sport suspension .i had to hone out my 11" disc centre holes to 2.4 " to make them fit on the hubs and it changed the toe in so much that i had to do a home alignment before i could drive it . threading out the steering tie rods 1/4" per side did the trick .now i can drive it to the alignment shop .before the adjustment there was almost 2 "inches of total toe in .the tires squealed when i backed it out of the garage so i knew i had a problem .
Dropped the motor (finally) out yesterday. Today, I am going to see if I can get it out from under the car (Don't have a very high jack) and I am going to see if I can clean the cradle to a shine.
Hooked up the wire harness and put a battery in the car for the first time in a year. Put the charger on it and I have lights and the fuel pump works where did I put that rag, read my thread in the tech section
Finished putting GT rocker extensions on my 85 SE. Now it is a notchie with all the aero skirts. Next hood scoops, minor bondo, and then prep for paint.
