in my rambling you may understand .. i got the dang thing runnin that all that counts
well I installed new bulbs in the side markers and GT tail lights and installed new speakers upfront and also managed to bleed on it some more. Why is it that my fiero always wants my blood??? I also made my adapter harness for my new head unit now when my humont I can finally have some tunes.
Pulled that nasty, worn out, falling down, headliner out. Re-enforcing the board and hope to cover it and re-install in the next couple days. While I'm at it, I got a cleaner set of seat belts and *might* cover some other interior parts.
dropped my 7/16 wrench into the door trying to take the mirrors off for paint.GRRRRRRRRRRR then i could only get 4 out of the 6 tail light screws out double GRRRRRRRRRRRR
Saw it at the paint shop. A few more things and it will be ready to come home!!
No fair yours is cooler than mine >.<
I put mine on jackstands. That was interesting..there's a first for everything. Yes, I'm the new guy wannabe mechanic pretty-boy who looks under the car for 5 minutes thinking "Where in the hell do I put the jackstands?"
Don't worry, guys. It all worked out. I just got really dirty is all.

I replaced the rear wheel bearings. Luckily, I had replaced the transmission (and axles) only a few months ago, so the axles and axle nuts were nice and clean.
The new hub/bearing assemblies look a little beefier than the originals. If the originals lasted 21 years, these ones should last a long time.
I talked to her and showed her the new six speed I received in the mail!!! I can not wait to start. I pick up the engine begining of the week and two weeks from now I will start the tear apart.!!
I finally got all the parts needed to get the exhaust done, as well as other things that usualy need replacing. I drove it to the shop that is doing the work for me.
today i finally installed my year old but still brand spankin new in the box tinted side glass...both sides....also was a good time to slap on my new set of outer dew strips that i purchased from DYi STU along with new felt guides from fiero store.. .....went really well with the glass out....and a plug for stu's excellent dew strips....now my baby is starting to look like i want it to...tim
Installed the 3800 coil pack just behind the gas tank, installed a new fuse block for my stereo (bolted down this time), replaced the water pump and valve cover gaskets on the 3800. Hopefully tomorrow I can get the 3800 up off of its pallet and unbolt the flexplate so I can take it in with the new flywheel I got and have it balance matched and machined.
I spent two two hours, sitting on the concrete of my driveway, doing a front brake job. New rotors, brake pads, and bearings.
No more squeaks from the wear sensors.
Now both front and back brakes are totally new.
Now I'm just sitting back, waiting for the new sunroof gasket to arrive, from The Fiero Store, and in it goes, with the new spiffy headliner, I got a month ago, and I'm going to tint the back window.
Car is an '85 SE 2M6, white with black bumperpads. Should set it off, with the repainted luggage rack spoiler, and deck lid louvers.
I installed Rodney Dickman's Idler Pulley for the alternator yesterday. What a HUGE improvement, and a high quality part.
I did it in the parking lot at the Dell's Show, bought it directly from the man face to face, and when I finished and cleaned up, I walked back up and shook his hand.
He was surprised and seemed even a little impressed that I did it right in the parking lot.
I put 5 pistons and rods in my GT yesterday. Broke one of the compression rings so that put an end to working on it for a couple of days till some new rings come in.
finally got the bolt that broke on my modular 3.4 pulley out with out having to remove the supercharger. Whoo hoo. Next need to reinstall the pulley and belt and run one last coolant line and I am back on the road.
Oh and while moving my crap out of the house I pay for and my ex lives in I found a mint condition 87 fiero owners manual. Why is it most fiero's I have owned have been 87?? I have owned 5 87s and 1 85. Well now it is 6 87s.

Designed a new bracket I need for my RHD conversion. Wasn't happy with one of the ones holding the chain drive unit. Then started making templates to adapt different mirrors (Holden Commodore VY SS) to my Fiero.
I finally got my supercharger belt back on (correctly). lol. Now I just need $5 worth of heater hose and I am back on the road. Hopefully I get that done tonight.
Ordered a new tensioner pulley from the Fiero Store for my 88 Duke. Should have the car ready to recieve it when it shows up on Monday. Hopefully this will get my car back on the road if not I will be vry sad.
Unpackaged teh new heat exchanger I got from ZZPerformance... started adapting it to fit the Fiero... gave up after about ten minutes because of a previously injured left pinky toe that is more painful than anyone could imagine.
