Do I feel like a slacker after reading thru the last pages.

Well , I did take the headers out this evening. Removed the Sill plates. Oh and the spark plugs, they went too.

I let it just sit in the driveway 'cause I'm POed at the darn thing. Clutch won't release, and I'm just plain sick of working on it for now.

I added another 50 miles on the daily driver GT, bringing it that much closer to its eventual demise.

Drove my black coupe in the avatar to work & back. It was raining when I came home for lunch, so I parked in the garage instead of the driveway. Usually I park in the driveway during lunch and park it in the garage after work.

Today I packed the car (non fiero) for a trip 125 miles to where #3 is. I will spend a total about 20 hours on friday and saturday working on the 4.9 instal and suspension upgrades.

Sunday I will borrow my dads truck and trailer and drive back the 125 miles to pick up number one, load it onto the trailer and take it to another destination to replace the fuel pump. Then drive back the 125 miles to drop off the trailer. Then drive home 125 miles.

Still ignoring #2 and now #4.

Monday, I'm sitting on my ass and doing nothing fiero or other related. Happy Labor day weekend everyone!!!

Painted my rear calipers, cleaned my wheels and had them balance. Put the fronts back on the car. I will finish the rear brakes tomorrow morning. Watched the 7 parts of how to rebuild a headlight motor by Buddycraigg. I recommend this to all with a headlight problem. I will crank-um up by hand no more, I fear no evil.

I replaced the radiator fan relay... again. The only fan relays available are cheap crap made in China. They usually last around 6 months.

Drove from Karlsruhe back to Switzerland and took it to 170km/h one time. Later the Autobahn was just to full to start safely another try. Was driving stable and the gas consumption for this old car is really outstanding in a positive way I think!!!

btw. I did a fill up in Germany, the price was approx. $7.05 per gallon (ouch)

Drove it to run some errands.. I love this car when it works.

Although I did have to park it a bit further than I wanted to, as I don't trust parking it on steep hills, having no e-brake and stuff. At least I'm getting some exercise, since I didn't go to the gym today..
Also I'm sure leaving it in reverse/or gear isn't good for the tranny on a hill.

Washed it, waxed it, went for a ride and a guy walked by and said "nice car!"
I smiled at my wife and said "what did he say"?
One of the rare times I heard some one.
{she calls it selective}
Hmmmmmmmmmm. he was carrying a small brown paper bag.
But he wasn't weaving.
It REALLY did look nice though.

Jealous... I really need a new stereo, or at least working speakers. My rears sound awful, and I'm sure the fronts are not far behind..

Finished porting LIM, swapped the snout out for a snout with the ZZPerformance MPS and a 3.4 pulley. Finished installing the intercooler, put the blower back on, stood back and enjoyed the fruits of my labor.

I finished my interior with Mr. Mike Seats, repainted all interior dash & trim parts, new carpet....AND drove my baby 200 miles cruising at an average 85mph to Fort Wayne Indiana, handed over my keys to Ryan at Sinister Performance (http://www.gmtuners.com/) after parking it next to my 2005 5.3L LS4 engine with newly ported heads and 2006 4T65e rebuilt tranny from (http://www.tripleedgeperformance.com/Transmission.php)!

Now I have to figure out what to do with my 2.8L V6 and low miles rebuilt Getrag 5sp!!
