Hooked up the new clutch master, installed the brake booster and master. Bolted the hyd lines to the frame inside the square rubber standoff . Put the clutch master banjo on the new clutch peddle. Whopieeee its about an inch above the brake peddle.
I went and tinkered around with my 87 GT today. Hooked up my laptop to it and got the winaldl stuff to work. Then it ran out of gas sitting there idling before I could take it for a test drive.
Joe There`s not much to see at the moment. All of the stuff I`m doing won`t be going on until I do my fastback swap. I am trying to get a large compressor that will drive my HVLP gun and then paint all of my panels off of the car before replacing them.
It took me 4 hours to get to that point. It's fairly simple, I just need to finish with another layer of glass on top and finish the bottom. You can do a search for Blacktree's build thread, that is where I got my inspiration.
I bought stainless steel hose to run the fuel lines under the blower. I also picked up a couple of adapters to finish up the intercooler pump install. The pump is mounted but not connected yet. Tomorrow should be the last day of work on it and it will be up and running.
Put my redone formula wheels on the front, installed my fierostore tigwleded rear suspension links with lowering springs, new struts and tops. Routed my custom exhaust (mock-up only) put in the new fuel sending unit and fuel pump and a battery relocator kit (used but from norms).
Changed the oil.. figured I'd give Royal Purple a try. Finished connecting the HE pump for the intercooler. Made and installed fuel lines, put on new supercharger belt. Topped the coolant off. Started bleeding the intercooler system.
Changed the oil, tried to fix the crossthreaded plug that the P.O. hackjobbed. Adjusted right rear toe by about 1.5* out. Began planning for valve cover removal so as to adjust valve lash.
Started readying it for it's long sleep in it's PJ's against the far wall in the garage. hoping I can get the 3.4 completely disassembled so the next 5 months are spent in the machine shop, chrome shop, and inspected and readying for assembly this spring.
I drained the coolant from it. fun fun. and I rain out of "space" for the coolant to drain... so it ran all over the place. But that is what newspaper is for.
I hooked up the tranny shift cables, and brackets. I was able to put the ball joints back on the right way. I put the tires on the car. Now she is sitting on all four tires, something that hasn't happend in two months. Soon I will be able to take her out for one last drive before winter starts.

Drove it to work again today. I've been driving it daily for the last 3 or so weeks while I work on the BMW. I'm probably going to roll over 74000 miles tomorrow on the way to work.
degreased and painted the motor and engine bay of my lil red '88 dailey driver after MstangsBware replaced its 157K 2.5 engine for a 16K one.would of been easier with the motor out but it turned out okay.also put in a new heater core which was easier than i thought it would be. jesse
