found me a set of flece/suade 84 seats in almost perfect condition,,, also installed a new clutch onto the motor..... she should be up and running soon.
stripped the cradle down, now removing old sht exhaust hangers that were welded on (crappily welded), removing all rubbers from everything suspension to get ready for powder coating. ordered almost all new suspension parts from TFS and rodney, ordered a poly bushing kit and ordered poly mounts from PURPLE REIGN, bout to order a smaller pully, expandable braided sleeving for wiring loom and new tires for the aveo lol.
Replaced a sheared pivot bolt on the alternator mount bracket. The only bolt holding on the bracket was the bolt you use to adjust the tension. It squealed a lot but I made a 8 mile return trip back to the house.
Total repair cost?---0.95 cents for a grade 8--- 3/8 x 3 1/2 inches
Missed the car show but I can live with a .95 cent repair.
Painted my decklid and rear bumper yesterday and put them back on. Now I just need to finish the rest of the car and the engine swap. Anyone in SC interested in helping finish a 3.4pr swap?
Not too bad for 2 rednecks in a barn.

qwikgta those rims are fantastic! They are almost exactly like what I am looking for. You have good taste. Once I sell my ghetto-fabulous rims and get little car painted I'll be getting some new rims too
i finished painting the last of the body panels this morning. i'll try to get some pictures up. this is the first car i have painted and it turn out pretty good. thanks for all the help i got from the forum members. i've asked several question and they all have been answered by members. i don't think i'll ever do a panel off paint job again. knowing me, i'll buy another fiero next year that'll need paint, and there i go again
Busy weekend so far for a lot of you and it all looks great.
Here is my new dogbone courtesy of ImperfectTruth. A huge "thank you" will have to do for now. My old one has junk bushings.
After a quick cleaning it is now the same color as my car. I may let it hang in my garage overnight before I attempt to put it in so that the paint has a chance to harden unless I get impatient.
The paint had set up just fine so I put it in.

Sat in it a bit with a sad face, to rest while working on my Mini. Hopefully replacing the master will resolve the clutch pedal issues. Hope to have her back on the road next week. And possibly with a "new" chin spoiler, and maybe a "new" stereo. Since I'll be pulling the head unit and amp out of my truck, before I trade it and the Mini in, the Fiero seems like a good place to put it.
Rob, that looks really good. Do you happen to know the total weight of each wheel with those tires?
No, but they were lighter than the Beretta GTZ rims w/ tires that were on it before. I know the rims were shipped as pairs, and they weighed 50lbs per set. I guess thats with the box too. Not sure of the tires.

Turned out really nice, really diggin on that color! You're very welcome, looks like it found a much better home than the trunk of my car haha.. If I knew you were gonna paint it I would've cleaned it up for ya but you did a great job
Had to go up to our property in New Mexico and drain the pressure tank on the well for the winter. It was a nice day, so Mz Friz suggested we take the Fiero. Who was I to say no?
380 mile round trip, car ran like a champ....had a ball running it through the twisties between Cloudcroft and Mescalero. I'd rather drive than wrench any time. Great day.
