It was sunny, so I did what everyone else would do... took it for a nice cruise and enjoyed it

Now it really, really needs a wash!

When I got home from work, I found these on my door step.

Enkei Falcon. 17x7 and 17x8, the flat gunmetal will look great with my flat green paint.

Now I just need to get some tires

Replaced a sheared pivot bolt on the alternator mount bracket.
The only bolt holding on the bracket was the bolt you use to adjust the tension.
It squealed a lot but I made a 8 mile return trip back to the house.

Total repair cost?---0.95 cents for a grade 8--- 3/8 x 3 1/2 inches

Missed the car show but I can live with a .95 cent repair.

Painted my decklid and rear bumper yesterday and put them back on. Now I just need to finish the rest of the car and the engine swap. Anyone in SC interested in helping finish a 3.4pr swap?

Not too bad for 2 rednecks in a barn.

Rims (Enkie Falcon) met Tires (Kumho Ecsta XS) 17x7 (215/45) and 17x8 (245/45)

Can't wait to put them on. But I have to do something about the center caps. They gave me Chrome caps. Look like crap.

Busy weekend so far for a lot of you and it all looks great.

Here is my new dogbone courtesy of ImperfectTruth. A huge "thank you" will have to do for now. My old one has junk bushings.

After a quick cleaning it is now the same color as my car. I may let it hang in my garage overnight before I attempt to put it in so that the paint has a chance to harden unless I get impatient.

The paint had set up just fine so I put it in.

Sat in it a bit with a sad face, to rest while working on my Mini. Hopefully replacing the master will resolve the clutch pedal issues. Hope to have her back on the road next week. And possibly with a "new" chin spoiler, and maybe a "new" stereo. Since I'll be pulling the head unit and amp out of my truck, before I trade it and the Mini in, the Fiero seems like a good place to put it.

Got my new rims/tires on today. Enkie Falcon 17x8 (38), 17x7 (45). Kumho Esctsa XS 215 and 245/45's. Perfect offset.

For all those 88 owners out there this is the best offset.

better pics with the light is better.

No, but they were lighter than the Beretta GTZ rims w/ tires that were on it before. I know the rims were shipped as pairs, and they weighed 50lbs per set. I guess thats with the box too. Not sure of the tires.

After a quick cleaning it is now the same color as my car. I may let it hang in my garage overnight before I attempt to put it in so that the paint has a chance to harden unless I get impatient.

The paint had set up just fine so I put it in.

Turned out really nice, really diggin on that color! You're very welcome, looks like it found a much better home than the trunk of my car haha.. If I knew you were gonna paint it I would've cleaned it up for ya but you did a great job

Had to go up to our property in New Mexico and drain the pressure tank on the well for the winter. It was a nice day, so Mz Friz suggested we take the Fiero. Who was I to say no?

380 mile round trip, car ran like a champ....had a ball running it through the twisties between Cloudcroft and Mescalero. I'd rather drive than wrench any time. Great day.
